After a week of researching in the area I came across the Christina Landscaping Supply as a possibility for supplying me with rocks needed to edge some flowerbeds in mine and my husbands yard.Upon arriving I was welcomed with a friendly smile, and was given a quick show around the different selections of rocks, and after describing my particular needs I was directed towards a smaller selections of small boulders.They were perfect for my project and they had great prices for the pieces that I wanted.Once I was done selecting my pieces the gentleman who greeted me was great, offering to move my wheelbarrow for me, weighing it, and taking it to load into my car.This was a great experience for me, and the rocks were the perfect finishing touch to the first of many flower beds we will be edging. My 10 yards of mulch is over 1 hour late. Unacceptable. Poor service, no phone call alerting us to a late arrival. No mention of a time frame. My invoice sates 9 am on Friday. I guess there are more important customers to take care of. This order was placed yesterday around 1030 am. Mr. Tracy, if you cannot even phone us to alert of timing issues, that is poor customer service. Oh, just called at 10 am and the truck just showed up at 1012 am, exactly the amount of time it takes to travel from your business to our home. It is May 17th, its 82 degrees, now close to noon, it is 87 degrees with the Florida humidity. Please call your customers on delays when they cant afford to have the work done by their yard service. Do you even consider that landscapers are used to working outside? Many of your private customers have inside jobs and the heat is difficult to handle. We would have accepted another delivery day if we could have started earlier. Perhaps, you should consider limiting your service to lawn professionals only if you cannot handle to volume. I have notified Karen at Petersons Nursery, who recommended you You did not even offer a discount on you $20 delivery service, which was a 5 to 6 mile found trip. We have a midsize car that cannot have a towing bar attached. Also, my 19 year old college aged son didnt appreciate getting woke up at 830 am. If you dont have or know people with children in college, it is an adjustment for them to come back in the summer. I hope that you think about this post. We needed some larger landscaping rocks. Perhaps, my husband should look elsewhere, even though you have a great and beautiful collection.
