Unbelievably surprised by this liquor store. When I pulled in I really didn’t expect to be so blown away, but they have some of the most rare rums and whiskey from all over the world. Bobby the store owner was extremely friendly, and even more knowledgable about the different products he carries. I ended up finding some extremely sought after single barrel bourbon that I couldn’t find anywhere else in Florida besides Jacksonville. Worth going out of the way for this one.

Called and I said are you open I assume? And the guy says I answered the phone what do you think. Great answer will not be getting by business

I went for a small bottle of something and told the clerk i had a personal emergency. He said its not usually open to the public but nature calls.

Placed an online order last week. Since ordering, website says processing. Sent email requesting status 6 days ago and received no response. Called phone number on website 4 days ago. Answered by a woman with a heavy accent. Could not get any information from her. She gave me another number to call. The number turned out to be a Dominican Republic number. I think I’ve been scammed. I’m forwarding info to the BBB and requesting receipt of my money to my credit card.

This is my husbands go to store when shopping for liquor. All i hear is good things from him about the people working behind the counter. Its as if he is talking about a close friend when he comes home from there.

Walked in 30 minutes before close and said how you doin. The clerk responded aggressively Ill be better when I can get you outa here, I was gonna close what you need. Shocked by the tone, I just said oo, lookin for some whiskey...Ill be in and out, promise. Walked to the back towards the whiskey and he yells immediately HEY! I know the store better then you, tell me what u need and quit wasting both of our time! I hadnt been in the store for more then 30 seconds, and wasnt really sure what brand of whiskey I wanted but nervously responded ugh Woodford reserve n pinot grigio for my girl. He hollered out directions and I rushed to grab a bottle. It was the most expensive bottle of Woodford Ive ever purchased in my life, and Ill never go back. Probably would have nicer service in a POW camp😅

Best liquor store in Lakeland. Great selection at great prices. I decided to host a New Year’s Eve party last minute, called this store and the owner said he was closing up but would wait up for us. On top of that he gives GREAT recommendations at any price point! Sometimes I’ll go in undecided and he will suggest something and I go with it. So far, I have yet to be dissatisfied with any of them. I’ve also checked online and have seen great reviews for the spirits he’s recommended. You can’t go wrong shopping here.

Looking for a particular item, they provided a substitute which was perfect.

Knows his industry and very helpful. Has all high end wines and liqueurs. From what I could determine was the only store in Polk County that had such a great selection of wines and liqueurs. I am from out of town and needed a high end Japanese SIngle Malt Whiskey and he had it!!! Very nice guy!

This is a FANTASTIC wine & liquor store! I’m from Nashville and decided to stop by while visiting Lakeland. Hopefully you understand the saying “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” because this place doesn’t look like much from the outside and it’s not very big but boy they have an incredible selection! Plus Bobby is just a tremendous resource and trust me... knows his wine and liquor!!! He’s just a tremendous person and truly a pleasure to chat with. I highly recommend 👍! Lakeland and surrounding areas are extremely fortunate to have him and CPD there as I now have a new lifelong friend! Thank you Bobby! 🙏

Good selection and good prices.

CPD is an unassuming liquor store that has a great selection of spirits to choose from. It also has a surprisingly solid selection of craft beer. The only thing keeping this place from a 5 star rating is the prices are higher than the average store for craft beer and a few things didnt have prices on the shelf. For craft beer fans or those experimenting with expanding their pallette, they do have the largest selection of bourbon county beers in Polk County as well as other hard to find beers.

Took two and half weeks to get the order delivered. On top of that it was the wrong order and no follow up on making it right. Expensive mistake

Without a doubt the best place for all your alcohol needs. EXCELLENT service. Never dealt with anyone unfriendly here. This place is BY FAR better than Walmart and Publix in both price and selection. If youre a bartender looking to restock your bar, this is the place to be. Thanks guys.

I gotta quit forgetting this place is there. Ive only been a couple times, but they have a pretty decent selection, and always been helpful. Only complaint I can possibly muster is it feels a little cramped.

I admit I was slightly apprehensive about stopping there as I was looking for something specific that ABC Liquor didnt even have but I figured why not? Im very happy I did.They have an entire wall dedicated to whiskies and have an seriously awesome selection of some rare finds. The store manager, Bhavesh, was also very knowledgable and gave me a lot of good recommendations for a Christmas present I was looking for. Ill be going here from now on.

My friend told me abt this store n trust me guys you wont believe prices which they have!!Used to go to ABC liquor store. They have damn high prices. This CPD store almost giving 50-60% less prices compared to all other store. I asked Bobby the meaning of his store name and he said CPD means Cost Plus Dollar n he said that we are only adding 2 to 3 bucks on original price thats it!If you wanna save hella money then this store is a right choice for you..
