Stopped in at Michaels this afternoon looking for some craft items. Michaels is a nice store. I find some of their items overpriced. But if youre looking for crafty things theyre pretty good.They remind me a bit of Franks while they were still around, although Franks had live flowers and plants.I was thinking about making a wind chime to go out in the backyard, and I was looking for some inspirational supplies to make that. I bought a small pack of bells for around three bucks. I got them home and they were pretty cheap and didnt have very good sound. I was expecting a pretty ring instead I got a little bit of a clunk. But I guess you get what you pay for. I threw them in my junk drawer and perhaps theyll get used eventually.I always try to be frugal when possible.
Plenty of craft store staples, including especially robust painting and yarn departments. Individual item supplies may suffer during high seasonal demand. That said, associates always know how to find what you need if its in stock.
Changed the layout of the store. Had to go up and down each isle. Finally found what I was looking for. Friendly personal.
Stopped here to get a few things needed for my moms funeral. Found some discounted canvas for my Dad to continue painting. Nice, pretty organized. Made me want to buy more, but I dont live here.
This was a return trip the same day to get a custom cut mat for a framed picture ordered.The first attempt was sabotaged by an employee that didn’t want to help. She required me to have to the frame and print even though I was confident in the measurements.The second attempt was met by not just a wait but an employee that was making an effort to get directions from another employee via video call.This is a critique of management. Clearly you do not have the staff to run the custom frame department. It shouldn’t be presented as “open” when it really isn’t.

Its a nice place with a wide variety of crafting supplies.On the other hand go here only if you do not mind being stalked by whom Im hoping was their lot security. When I would go in Petsmart with my dog an Dollar Tree without pup daily these ppl would go so far as following me inside and around the businesses. Now mind you I have NO criminal record, a nurse for 40 years an am almost 70 years old! Thinking their time might be better spent. I no longer go in these businesses, but rarely. They hv lost my spending almost every day due to security gone wrong!
They always have what I need, but beware of the sale/clearance items not ringing up correctly...a really nice employee came over to the register when I noticed it ringing full price, and she made it right.
As always its a craft store. Go in with a budget in mind or beware. Good selection.

I love all their seasonal merchandise. However, you need to be more in sync with your website in terms of curbside pickup. You can’t tell me my order is ready at 8:20 am, then when I get to the store the website says I can’t pick up til 9 am, then when i park at curbside you have your own personal hours for pickup be 10 am. That is unacceptable. There is the option to pickup inside the store, but that entirely defeats the purpose of me creating a pickup order during the pandemic.
The store was clean and well organized. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable about products and locations in the store.
I wish that Google would stop tracking my every move. Everywhere we go google asks me to leave a review! Bunch of CREEPS

This dollar general had just opened back up cause of an accident a gentlemen drove thru the front doors im not sure who he is or how his condition is but the store employees is dealt with were both really helpful and nice

Nice hobby shop. I tend to lean towards Hobby Lobby, but Michaels is very comparable. I would shop there more if they were closer. And I love that theyre dog friendly. That always wins points with me. 😁

This location is incapable of functioning as a UPS access point. I have directed four shipments to this location due to a signature requirement. All four times I was told my package was no there despite it being there. About half the employees are unaware a UPS pickup may be something a customer asks of them. Always slow, always delayed.
They had a lot of cool things for Halloween and they also had a lot of good sales going on..The only downside is that there werent enough employees to help customers find what they were looking for..You had to get in line for the cashier to just ask an employee a question when you have to do this a few times u are just ready to get the heck out of this store...

It was a little crowded.But great price.
Though we appreciate the convenience of the location the store falls short. The employees are not well informed about the products on the shelves. I had to rely on Google and the Michaels app and website to find the appropriate colorings and dyes for an epoxy process we were working on. After an hour and a half back and forth in the store we took what we could find and checked out. The CSRs werent very helpful, the shelves were poorly stocked and what was stocked was a mess. I ended up going to a competing store and found what I needed in stock in store.
Great prices and the store is easy to maneuver. Everything is labeled nicely and there are always good sales going on.

Hours are not correct for Sunday on their own website. Current hours for Sunday are 11am to 6pm instead of what is listed. If you check all other days those are correctly updated but it was rather disappointing that the Sunday hours are wrong.

I strongly recommend this store!A fabulous crafts store in the midwest. Full of popular ideas and supplies for just about every possible art project you might have. Certainly a great place for home decor, and finding the best supplies to follow your imagination. Prices might be more than I occasionally expect, but Michaels has wonderful employees and is often not hard to find. I like to browse the store and see what it may inspire in me.

I have difficulty with being able to use discounts. They never apply to what Im purchasing. And finding the way to utilize them online could be more user friendly.

Great selection, although if you are looking for real leather to work with it has been my experience that you will need to buy online. My only complaint, which I dont mind in the slightest, is that they were a little short handed. Like I said I didnt really mind, but if I was in a rush I might have. It should be fixed by now.
Lots of great crafty and art supplies, home and garden decor, anything you may need in that area, with the added bonus of avoiding Walmart

Its a craft store, they have lots of stuff. Like every craft store Ive ever been in, its not really coherently organized and your only clue that youre in another department is all of a sudden the merchandise is a different type. I find Michaels and all stores in the genre extremely hard to find what Im looking for.

Plenty of options for crafting and scrapbooking here. I think my wife could spend hours in this store. Everything seems like its an affordable price until you get to the register and then watch it add up! Its a clean store and well organized though, and more than likely youll be able to find what youre after here. We stopped in for picture frames and they had a very large selection.

The employees are rude! The manager just laughs when you explain the reason for wanting to return products. And refuses to accept the return. Her name badge is outdated and does not state she is a manager. Her explanation was “Well I have keys”. Well good for you! We used to shop at the Maysville store weekly. I will NEVER again shop at a store where the customers are treated so horribly. They just lost a valued customer. As we walk out we can hear the employees mocking us. Warning!!!! Chapel Ridge Maysville Road 37 ......DO NOT SHOP THERE

Its a nice place I visited there with my mom while she was picking up yarn and flower pots. We were not there long so didnt look around much to see what all they had to offer.
Have almost everything. This store is smaller than the one at Jefferson Pointe but traffic is not heavy around it and you can easily find parking closer to the door.
Like a kid in a candy store... so many crafts, decorations.. so many projects i want to do! Michaels inspires me!
