Nice Shell Gas Station on Corner of Carson n Studebaker Rd, in Long Beach, CA. Nice, Clean Mini Mart. Cashier Fabian, was a great Help with Big Water Bottles, and a Car Wash.
Prices could be better and needs more locations. But cant complain about the smell of corn fuel...
Cash only inside and their pumps will not take credit cards inside of the store.
Be careful people using self pump the scammers got hold of my account and I had to close my credit card and get my money back which I did and it was a lost of $500.00 used in the matter of 3 days. I got my money back the account was closed on my bank so please be careful
Easy location for E85. The pumps are combined with a typical gasoline pump so I can easily mix E85 with 91 for flex fuel e40 final mixture. Seem some snazzy turbo cars fueling up here.
Its a gas station,clean yes
E85 is excellent! Always lowest price - lower than ARCO, Costco, and Sams Club, Drive very well. Thank you!
I am Rodney, and yes, I am an ethanol-holicMy 2000 Chevy S-10 is a flex fuel vehicle, having the ability to run on unleaded gas, E85 or a combination of the two. E85 is comprised of 85% ethanol, 15% gas However, I never had the opportunity to run E85 because the nearest stations were in the Inland Empire. So, I resigned myself into thinking Id fill up on unleaded gasoline for the life of my truck.A few years ago, I received a postcard in the mail from Propel Fuels, offering $20 worth of free renewable E85 or clean DieselHPR. Ecstatic for free gas & finally having an ethanol station thats nearby, I knew the stars aligned for some Fast & the Furious E85 action. And by nearby, I mean the first freeway exit south of me. Hella close!Benefits of E85-reduces tailpipe carbon monoxide emissions by 30%-reduces smog & air toxins by 21%-reduces tailpipe particulate matter by 50%-rapidly biodegradable in surface water, ground water & soil-renewably sourced from fermented grains & sugar-cheaper than unleaded gasoline-(best of all) improves horsepower & acceleration with an octane rating of 100-105Going from regular unleaded to E85 was like night & day. Supercharged, baby!! Better for the the environment? All the more better.Cons of E85-reduced MPG opposed to unleaded gasoline-some suggest long term use of ethanol can cause corrosionWeighing the pros & cons, I came to the conclusion that running E85 is the best choice for me. While I dont get as much MPG as I used to, E85 is cheaper per gallon and I cant seem to kick that 100-105 octane rating. Vroom vroom! The debate is still on about the corrosiveness of long term ethanol use, but my truck is old & will probably be retired if & when that may become an issue.Propel Fuels has brought renewable ethanol & clean diesel to the masses. Before only available to a few, everyone with flex fuel equipped or diesel vehicles now have access to more fueling options. Its always better to have options, and I will continue to fill up at Propel Fuels for my commuting needs.Propel Fuels is a two sided pump located at the Shell station on Carson & Los Coyotes Diagonal & are not affiliated with one another.Highly recommend!
One of the few locations to get HPR diesel
Terrible car wash. Gas prices typical for shell
The have the flex fuel ⛽Since the switch we save about 20 per full tank and get more mpg
Wow do the pumps take forever
