So lucky to have this gem right in our neighborhood. It is my go to for gifts on any occasion or holiday. Also made the switch over to the shampoo and conditioner and I am so happy I did. My hair is happy and there is zero waste.

My skin is so sensitive, I cant use most liquid and dish soap without my hands becoming extremely dry and cracked. I love that stem has a bare naked soap bar, it doesnt bother my skin at all and my hands are finally back to normal.

I was looking for a gift for my BFF and thought of STEM Handmade Soaps. My husband bought some for me in the past and I loved them, plus I think it is vital to support local businesses. I ordered Monday afternoon online and received my package Wednesday morning. Thankfully I ordered extra soap for myself. My BFF will absolutely LOVE this gift. Additionally, I received a hand written thank you note from Stephanie and a lovely soap sample. BTW, I just used the Spa Soap and it smells glorious! Thank you STEM:)

Stopped in because I wanted to give their shave soap a try. The store is very clean. It smells amazing in there. The lady at the counter was very friendly. In addition to the shave soap I purchased a gift basket for my wife. Shave soap is great. Smells good, and leaves skin smooth/ reduces razor burn.

Stem is fantastic. I have been exclusively using their soaps for years. I switched to using their face products about 6 months ago and I am very pleased with the results. My only wish is that stem made a line of SPF products. Are you desperately trying to find a gift for someone? Go to Stem or go to their website and order a gift basket! They ship promptly and Ive never gotten any complaints from recipients. What can I say, I love this place!

Love, love, love STEM. Their products smell absolutely amazing, and the soap leaves your skin sooo soft. Anyone I’ve ever gifted STEM products to, has become an instant “fan.” They make special limited-edition scents every month, and I love stopping in just to see what they have available. My personal favorites are the peppermint bar soap, and “tie-dye” limited edition bar or pump soap. I have been in the Lakewood store numerous times, and have only had the BEST customer service. They also provide gift bags and tissue for your purchase at no additional cost. I’ve seen a few reviews comment on stem products being pricey..if you understand all of the work and TLC that goes into making their products, you will understand that it’s one of the best values around. Worth every penny!

I love this place! First of all, when you step into the store, you are inundated with wonderful scents. They have so many choices of soaps, lotions and other products which are so healthy for your skin. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the owners, Steve and Dave are good people. I dont have any other soaps in my house - its Stem all the way!

If youve ever been to LUSH you can use that as a basic comparison, but honestly there is no comparison. As a guy who only buys lotion and soap every so often (since my fiance takes care of most of those decisions, which is perfectly fine), I am very picky when I buy something without her influence. Some places, especially LUSH, really only try to appeal to a more feminine style and so I have a harder time finding anything I like. Can you tell I dont like LUSH? STEM has quality hand-made products for a reasonable price. Thats good enough for 3-4 stars on its own. However the variety of scents along with the sensible presentation really make STEM a winner for me. Plenty of amazing aromas, and enough variety to appeal to everyone. Probably close to half their stuff I wanted to buy for myself. They also carry lavender-lemon which is hard to find (although seems to be getting a bit easier) which is what I am always on the lookout for as that combo is my Moms favorite. I bought a lotion with the Cabin scent after trying it in the store, its non-greasy and after one use my hands are softer and smell wonderful! Cant wait to go back, they also offer soap-making classes which is something that my fiance will probably take this summer.

This is an amazing little shop with a plethora of uniquely scented soaps, lotions and so much more, fit for everyone. I have extremely sensitive skin and can’t use anything with artificial scents and/or dyes, and Stem has the perfect products for my needs. I’ve recently tried their shampoo bar as well, and honestly my hair has never felt so soft; not oily or heavy at all. I would highly recommend stopping in here! Not to mention how refreshing their customer service is and the relaxing energy of the store itself. As Ebert and Roeper would say, TWO THUMBS UP!

The best! All natural products that are locally made, AND every scent smells sooo good. Nothing is ever overpowering or smells artificial. You can tell the quality of the products right away.

Shop smells wonderful. The products that Ive used (soaps and body butter) are made by a local business, high quality, made without questionable ingredients, and dont dry out my skin, so I dont mind paying more for them than for something Id get at a drug store.

If youre looking for an organic deodorant with zero chemicals this place has gotten it right. Ive tried dozens!! Im in love with the STEM deodarant. Zero chemicals AND it really works. Ive been using it for about a month now and while Im not a big sweater, a few weeks ago I moved my office and this was when I knew Im never switching to anything else!!

Friendly staff who is knowledgeable about their great spread of products. I love the quality and accessibility of their locally made, all natural body care products.Have been using their bar soap for pretty exclusively for around four years.The store is always well stocked and has everything you could need from daily use items like foam hand soap and bar soap to a well curated selection of gift sets. They even have candles that match the awesome scents of their soaps and lotions.

My husband went in, and purchased for me products for the first time for Christmas. We have passed by this store several times, and Im always saying I really want to check them out. I must say the products are so AMAZING!!! I dont care the price, it has helped me with my acne, and very bad dry hands due to being a hair dresser. He also said the customer service was great! The man was very knowledgeable, and helped him tremendously! With that being said I have recommended this place to so many people!

Super nice and helpful staff, and I was lucky enough to show up for their fifth birthday celebration weekend where they were giving away free stuff! Everything smells really nice, and its cool to be able to support a local business that hand makes all their own products.

This store has a variety of hand-made and natural products. They dont use 100% organic ingredients, but they dont cut corners or add things that arent good for you. They are friendly, helpful and the soap making class is a blast!

I shop here for lotions, soaps, bath bombs, and shampoo. I also want to go and get sometimes here. It is a bit expensive but if you have dry skin it really helps your sick amd theres no alcohol in the pumps that you find at most stores.

Where do I begin? I love all the scents, its always so hard to choose one! They have great candles, bathbombs and soap bars. Im excited to try more.
