The best. Definitely worth the drive

I been coming here at this restaurant for the past 7 years and I always love the food..the portions are big the flavor is magnificent and the attention is great... the owners are great people.

If you like home cooking not process cooking this little Mexican Restaurant in Lakewood New Jersey just off of Route 88 and Route 9 on 1st Street in the Lakewood is authentic Mexican food when you walk up to that little building at first walked in it looks like its just this little area but when you go to walk in the door and youll go to the left to go down a set of steps to the bathrooms well theres this long eating area you can sit down they make fantastic quesadillas tacos burritos all kinds of different sandwiches and what I like the best are there homemade potato chips you get a bag for a couple dollars and potato chips are not greasy there are fresh theyre homemade they taste like a potato should taste their fantastic their Foods fantastic and I give them five stars because Ill tell you what in todays economy to go in there and get something to eat for under $5 and walk out of there theyre doing it theyre good place to eat good people and a lot of them are bilingual and they will take good care of you go there sit down and try something youve never had before youll love it

The food is excellent !!a hidden a gem!! I mean it! But there is one guy that is sometimes by the counter and that take the phone with a attitude problem and really bad energy but this guy doesnt represent the business but he needs to lift his spirit up, thats why I still gave this a 5 star because the food is just so good, I order about 10 a month

Awsome food in a very unassuming place. If you like authentic mexican, youll love this! If you also love sour faced, grumpy old business owners with no personality, youll really love this place!! Lol. The younger guy is super nice tho.

I dont usually like to leave bad reviews. I have been a customer for several years and I could not complain about more than the bad customer service, unfortunately today I witnessed the peculiar way they cook. I know that many places do the same, they say eyes that do not see hearts that do not feel. In this case I saw how part of my food fell to the ground and without any regrets they lifted it off the ground and put it back on the grill.Two of the cooks are not wearing masks and neither are they wearing gloves.One of them is touching his nose while preparing food.They are not following the health protocol and that is very bad.

I do not know if they changed cook or what happened yesterday I made an order of nachos and tacos al pastor the meat was very dry and had no flavor as before the chicken milanesa cake was hard meat as if it were from the previous day very surprised by the service I ordered food every weekend I liked the previous Samson that sad 😏🙄😐
