Best bottle shop in Lakewood....maaaaaybe Denver? Great selection of some really awesome stuff.

William is the most pleasant and smart wine shop proprietor Ive ever met! The highlight of our vacation was stopping here. He guided us through a series of delectable wines, including balsamic wine and limoncello, in a lighthearted manner. Hes full of anecdotes and jokes, and he had us all laughing till we burst out laughing. Thank you, William; I cant wait to return. Oh! Cheers!

This wine store is rather spectacular. I came here about a week ago to buy several wine bottles. I was astounded by the extensive selection of wines and spirits. One thing that interests me is that you should sample the wine before purchasing it. Even if you require assistance, their personnel can assist you. They were quite knowledgeable about wines. The wine racks in the shop are fantastic.

Very nice beer selection with helpful staff. Lots of both local and nationally acclaimed beers. My only real knock is that they dont have more single can offerings or allow breaking 4-packs.

I was pleasantly surprised regarding their terrific and large selection and was impressed that they had some obscure selections from California that I love. The parking situation is a little weird, but not inconvenient. The prices are reasonable. They have an excellent selection of beer, liquor, and wine, but it isnt overwhelming like some of the giant liquor stores. They also carried a bunch or hard seltzer I hadnt even heard of. Ill definitely be back the next time Im in the area.

One of the best craft beer selections I have seen in Colorado. Lots of less common local breweries. Really happy to find Casey, Outer Range, Cerebral, and more. Prices are about as expected for the area. Good customer service as well.

I love that the folks who curate the selections dont waste their shelf space on a lot of junk. Thats not to say that you cant get cheaper beers and wines and spirits here if you want that, but there is a solid baseline of quality that I dont see everywhere else. Do you want a good Chardonnay for less than $12? They have them. Do staff recommendations carry weight in your decision-making? These folks are knowledgeable. Are you looking for both PBR and Pliny the Elder? Yep. Are you browsing for a new brew to try? Look around! Have you had something elsewhere that you would like to buy? Let them know.Hey, you can buy some beer at grocery stores these days, and Im all for freedom of choice and convenience, but when we buy alcohol for any occasion - even if that just means enjoying a cold one after yard work - this is the place. The prices are extremely competitive, and you cannot beat the selections offered.

Just called to ask if they had a specific beer.. guy on the phone was snobby and rude. 3 stars because they did have it. Get better at customer service.

Friendly staff that offers descriptions via cards next to the price tag, which is extremely helpful when you want to try something new. Only drawback is that theyre better for liquor and wine than beer in terms of selection. that said, for the size of the store they have a surprising variety of good, top-shelf stuff.

They can also on occasion get stuff on request as well. All around perfect friendly liquor store that I have been going to for years. Not a monster warehouse with everything but good quality for what they do have.

They have a great selection for a smaller store. They always have weld works; usually thre or four different types of weld works. There is always some great wine on sale as well. Staff is helpful and friendly. And my son loves petting the dog that is always there.

This is my favorite wine store in Denver. I literally drive 20 minutes just to go here 1-2x per month to stock up. I love their wine selections. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Their prices are great and they always have specials going on. I can park in the covered garage and they always carry my case out to the car. So helpful! Repeat customer for life!

Favorite wine store in Denver! These guys have a wide selection from all over the world and wine tastings offered weekly. Ive always had a good experience with helpful staff who give recommendations and great service. Ive liked just about everything Ive got there and most of my favorites are $15- $20. Nice local liquor store - good selection of wine and beer. Store is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection of bombers especially Belgians. There is one beer I really like that they dont have = Moose Drool. They offer a discount on 6 bottles of wine and if you sign up you can get customer discounts as well on non-sale items. Only comment is that they dont ask you if you are a member, you have to tell them and sometimes the cashier doesnt want to type it in after they ring you up.

Steve, the wine man is a wine and spirits master and artist. His excitement is contagious. The rest of the staff is knowledgeable and warm. I ALWAYS find a bargain. A true neighborhood treasure.

Recognizing the increased competition with grocery stores carrying beer now I try to continue supporting specialty shops bc of their superior selection which makes this review unfortunate. I purchased a New England IPA that had an off flavor or a flaw if you will. It had ethyl acetate (think nail polish) and a touch of banana which is likely from an unfiltered beer undergoing further fermentation after packaging in a warm environment. That or the brewery released a flawed beer. Either way it’s an unacceptable product. I asked to return the product and the lady would not. It’s an unfortunate situation but I would have hoped they accommodated for the problem. I would have expected Whole Foods next door to take the return. Albeit they are a large corporation but I’m more likely to buy beer from them when in the area now. I’m bummed the small shop didn’t have better customer service.

Beer here! Theyve got a walk in cooler with all the hipster sours that youve been wanting.Large selection of wines, carefully curated by their wine experts. I cant say if they have a sommelier working for them or not, but I wouldnt be surprised.

Fortunately, the staff here has always been willing to help me out and pair the right spirit with the event. If youre shy about asking for help, there are little notes with their recommendations and ratings on most of the items -- and, per my friends, their judgement is spot-on.Special bonus: There is usually a very friendly store dog roaming around, adding to the fun and friendly atmosphere.

I have been going here since they opened. Their selection of wine spirits and beer is unparraled in Lakewood. The atmosphere is welcoming and the owners and staff are outstanding in their recommendations in everything. Their price point is extremely reasonable as well. They showcase new wines and Craft beers every week. There is literally something for everyone here. You can read their informative, sometimes whimsical descriptions of their products, or just ask for help. If I had to choose one word to describe my many experiences here, perfect is the one I choose.

Easily the best beer shop in the Denver area. They are always sure to stock the latest and greatest brews, just remember that they may not always stick around for very long. Andre is extremely knowledgeable and will give you impressive recommendations for days. Ive never been steered wrong. Prices can be a little higher here, but youll find some great beer you cant get anywhere else, especially when it comes to imports.

Get on their mailing list to get the invites to their special events for free wine and beer tasting. It is wonderful that they organize and provide free wine and beer for tasting. So often I go into the store with out knowing which wine/beer I will like and this provides a way for me to find the things I enjoy. They are always friendly and have an amazing selection of products. Their prices are only slightly higher than apple jacks for most products.

1 star because of the horrible customer service. I walked in with several friends and the gentleman behind the counter NEVER took his eyes off of us, all while giving us the worst looks. He did not ask if we needed help and when one of my friends approached him, he was not friendly answering her question. The selection of wine was great but not worth being treated the way we were.

We have lived in the Belmar area for 2 years and purchase a vast amount of our beverages from Mike High because this place is positively the best. Displays are always clean and well organized. Variety and selection is HUGE. They frequently rotate in new product and there are great sale prices for excellent quality wine. If you are looking for some direction in picking a drink these guys are the best. The employees are always super helpful with their honest opinions and above and beyond service. I also really appreciate the tasting notes for the wines and employee picks.The tastings days are a great opportunity to try something you wouldnt normally purchase; many a time we have found new favorite wine or beer from those. And the cheese is a great addition!Cheers to being an outstanding business!

This is such a great shop! The cold beer selection is awesome, and the staff is amazing. We arent big wine drinkers so tend to ask for help selecting something and the staff has never failed to pull something perfect. If they warn you that the wine with the terrible label is what you want, believe them!

Was yelled at by an employee they are no lo ger bike or dog friendly. I used to go ther e every weekend now I will take my buisness else were at leat ask me nicely to leave dont yell at me. I will never go back.
