I was able to get a decent rate on a large storage unit at the last minute which was great! When I arrived to start unloading my things I put my face mask on immediately because the loading dock smelled like sour milk (probably due to the gallon of sour milk thats been sitting there for several days), and other peoples trash piled in the corners that smells like urine. However, the interior of the facility is clean and smells fine. If trash cans or a dumpster were more readily available near the loading/unloading dock, this place might be worth at least another star, but the trash has been there for at least three days.

From the moment I called, Crystal was able to help answer all my questions and easily guide me through the process of getting my very first storage unit. The facility is very new and climate controlled with big, easy to use elevators and a nice unloading station with dollies. I can’t get over how patient and accommodating Crystal was with me after not being able to figure out how to open my unit. She came up quick and even back after to check on me. I can’t recommend this place enough. Amazing quality and excellent staff!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - you’ve been warned. I’ve had numerous bad experiences with StorQuest. I was told my $12 monthly insurance fee would be refunded for every month once I showed proof of renter’s insurance. That did not happen. Also, the rent for my unit also increased by $5 for no apparent reason after less than 6 months of use. And finally, I received a letter saying my renter’s insurance was no longer valid and I would be charged $12 a month again, even though my insurance is absolutely valid. 3 strikes and you’re out, and I will never be using StorQuest again.

When I needed a storage facility to store my things for a while so I can travel to Alaska, I decided to use storQuest self storage again because they are always awesome and have what I need at the time, this last time I decided to use the storQuest in Lakewood because I will be storing some essential mountain gear. When I arrived I met with Mariana, who was amazing and answered my questions and even was able to get me a good price on a unit.Thanks Mariana, I will never forget your kindness!

Been a customer for 4 years, every year the rate increases 20% or more and they no longer give a discount for paying for a year. They do not care about loyalty. Keep looking there are other storage facilities that care. **UPDATE** The owner response had me call them and the answer I got was, sorry thats the price. Way to make things right again!

So I met with Crystal and Chase who had helped me in my darkest. I thought I couldnt get my key to my storage because I was going to be late, but these 2 great people had said they will wait for me to come in to get the key. Mind you they close at 6pm. They are fantastic and I give them 5 stars from ratings to hospitality. Thank you Crystal and Chase. Yall the real MVPs.

Nice and clean good staff I like it I was fortunate enough today to meet Crystal the property manager and if there was ever a day I needed kindness it was today and boy Ill tell you she hit it out of the park shes a wonderful person and I hope anybody that I refer here meet and works with her she is top notch!

I stopped in today and talked to Chrystal to get a small storage locker and she went above and beyond with her customer service. I would recommend this place to my friends if the customer service is the same with all people at Storquest.

The storage facility we are using is new, and very closely resembles other indoor/climate controlled facilities we have used in the past few years. The building and the storage units are very good. However... this facility has only about half or 1/3 the number of wheeled moving carts that they should have, and the carts they do have (3), while serviceable, are not as easily maneuverable as those we have found in other facilities (center pivot wheels and turning wheels at either end -- these have fixed wheels at one end and turning wheels at the other). And the locks... you cannot use your own padlock, something that differs from every other storage facility we have used. You must use cylinder locks, which they are happy to sell you @ $20 each). This is a price gouge of the highest order. We rented two units, so $40 for locks when we already have a lifetime supply of padlocks, and then... we had arranged for two guys to help us unload at an hourly rate, and when we arrived at the facility on a Monday, all 3 of the carts were in use somewhere out of sight. So Im paying two guys to help unload, and they are standing around waiting for carts. This is much worse on weekends. Be forewarned.

On a notoriously bad road, you find this gem! They have a great security team that is constantly surveying the property and walking around. The customer service is very personable and welcoming!!!!

So far Im pretty satisfied with this storage facility but the keypad for the gate entry is always cruddy. One would think the flu season alone would be enough for them to wipe it down on a regular basis but now theres this whole virus scare going on and that keypad is just as cruddy as ever.I realize I could have brought this to the attention of the staff but I really dont feel like thats something that I should have to bring to their attention thats just something that should be done on a regular basis anyway especially during flu season as far as Im concerned. Otherwise this storage facility is okay as far as storage facilities go. Restrooms are always clean and its pretty secure and the staff in general is pretty friendly. Also if your late with your payment they dont get all psycho with their late fees and such making it practical for you to be able to pay and not lose your unit in a hurry like it is with public storage for example.

This is my 4th visit in a row that I have tried to unload my car in the loading dock and have had to wait because the entire loading area is full. Currently waiting at 45 minutes in the rain to wait for an open spot so I can have access to load my things into the building. Maybe some rules as to how long you can park in the loading area would be really nice (if enforced) ?! One star out of extreme frustration at trying to access my storage unit.

I initially was drawn to this facility because I have a friend who rents at this facility; we are both deaf. When I came into the facility to look around in late February I was greeted by the Assistant Store Manger Nichole. I was very impressed because she could sign; which allowed her to communicate with me. This made the tour of the facility so much easier then writing notes back and forth. I told Nichole I would be back in March to get a unit and looked forward to working with her for my storage needs. However when I came back I was told Nichole was no longer there and instead I encountered a very sour faced young lady that said she was the manager. She acted like communicating with me was a chore and i perceived her attitude as not wanting my business; so I left and did not rent a unit. Very discouraged that Nichole was not there. Not only was I discouraged because she was no longer there, but having such a valuable asset like an individual thats bilingual (yes ASL makes you bilingual) that also conveys a warm, inviting and welcoming aura is truly commendable. Those qualities were not exhibited by the manager when I returned. Deaf people need storage too. Maybe you should bring Nichole back.

Absolutely thrilled with the service I have received here. The space is clean, easily accessible, safe, and overall... exactly what we needed at a truly reasonable price. I would recommend this facility to anyone and everyone.

Researched for a while looking for a storage place, and am so glad I went with StorQuest. I had reserved a unit online, and was very impressed with the unit offered as well as the cleanliness and professional feel of the office overall.Drew was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and made signing the lease easy and quick. He answered all my questions and I left feeling completely confident that everything I was going to store would be in good hands.

Excellent experience. New facility and super clean. Zachary provided great service. This has been my best experience with a storage facility. If you want to bring your own lock, make sure you have the right one. I thought I had the correct one, but I was wrong. They sell them there for $20 which I was told is less expensive than they are in local stores in the area.

When agreeing to rent a unit at Colfax location I was promised no rate increase for 6 months. I received a letter after 4 months stating rate increase taking effect for the sixth month! When I called to speak with a “manager”, the person claimed not to have authority to adjust my sixth month billing to the quoted original rate. Also the rate increase is 10% not just a few dollars as I was told upon moving in. Bad business practice. This is not in keeping with the marketing promoting a relaxed storage journey. Watch out!

Brand new, super clean facility. All indoor, climate controlled, so if you need outdoor access for big stuff this isnt the right place. Their rates are the best in the area. Service is great, sign up quick and easy. Security is very high. Only complaint so far is the code boxes by the gate are set up so you have to get out of your car to type in your code, a minor annoyance. Otherwise Im really happy. Management seems very together as well.

I feel like my possessions are safe here, and access is made easy. I most definitely recommend this conveniently located storage facility to anyone looking for a worthwhile storage experience.

The StorQuest assistant manager, Nicol Nowlin, was very helpful and friendly. She immediately had our reservation in hand and began the process of renting the unit. Nicol took us on a tour of the facility, showed us the unit we would be renting and gave us plenty of information on facility hours, how to work the elevator, how to open and close the door to the storage unit, and how to access the facility. She made certain our code worked and we were able to access the facility. This StorQuest facility is very clean and bright, and our 10x10 unit should work perfectly.

My experience from reserving a few units online to visiting the facility has been great. Nicole at the service desk was wonderful to speak with and she was patient in answering all of my questions. It was a big difference from the unpleasant visit I had with another big name storage facility in lakewood where they felt i was an inconvenience for wanting to see a few different options.This facility is brand new and clean and the holiday deals are great. I like the many size options and high tech security offered. Overall it was a great experience.

The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. The faculties where brand new and easy to access.After much shopping I found their prices to be competitive but really a bargain with the customer service. If you are looking for storage in the Denver area I would highly recommend this location.

It is a nice building but there arent enough carts or dollys and the elevator is not good.

Richard was great. Attentive and helped to smooth out any issues. The grounds are clean and organized it seems like. So far I am much happier and they are miles better than my past experiences with uhaul.

We had a great experience here. The manager, Zach was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Each employee we dealt with was friendly. We even went in to ask about what we could do since we were going to go one day over our month lease before moving out, and Zach said he wouldnt charge us for that month. Other than the elevator causing some trouble on occasion, it was a pretty perfect experience.

I had to change my review after my many trips to the storage unit since my original review. Most of the times I have been there, there have been people hanging out in the back working on their cars, that clearly are living out of their cars. The last time, someone had their wheels fully off their car and sitting on blocks and he was sleeping there. I finally said something upon my move-out about it, and was informed that they rent there and were allowed back there. A storage facility should not be an auto shop. Because of this, there also is rarely parking back there by the door. Although the inside facility is clean, I dont feel like its safe.Previous review:Very clean and safe. Dai and Zack were very personable and helpful. Got all set up in just a few minutes and the place is like brand new and super clean. Also they told me about the truck that they have to help you move so you dont need to rent a U-Haul. Ive never even heard of a storage place offering that before. If the rest of my lease goes like today Ill be very happy. Will update if anything changes.

Would have five stars but the crack heads in the parking lot just dont really seem like 5 star kind of people. They are right by the loading dock so ide be careful when bringing things in.
