The customer service here really is fantastic. The manager was great, very friendly, just like all the staff. Its nice to come into a place with a nice warm environment, it makes me want to come back in. A guy named Jessie helped me today, and he was really great to work with. He was fairly new he said, about two weeks, but he knew exactly what he was doing, was very friendly, and talked about his job well, definitely a highlight after working a long day and running errands. 5/5, and now Im a rewards member for what thats worth as well.(Excuse the silly name attached to my email)

They need a better selection of mens clothes amd shoes .

They are always helpful and friendly!Usually stocked well but these are struggling times. Its hard to find the all the items that you need, but thats the way it is everywhere.

Staff is helpful. Store is well kept and organized. If youre blue collar they have a great Carhartt selection.

Customer service is great! They usually have what I need but...technology! They were having to wait on the computer OR someone in Pueblo to order the item...Really...let them run THEIR store. They are there for THEIR customers.

We were visiting family and they brought us along to this Big R store...they have everything! If your passing through Lamar and need to stretch your legs a bit this is a fabulous place to do just that. From toys and camping gear to snacks, coolers and clothes..this place has it all!

My sons love coming to the store to look at the toys. I love coming to look at the candy 😉

Got what you need at a fair price for the area.

Will not be back! Felt very unwelcome. When I ask for help locating an item I received attuite as if I were a bother. It was also made very clear-by over hearing the cashiers talking- if customers didnt vote for a particular presidential candidate they were idiots. I didnt feel politics should be a conversation amongst business regardless of your views.

This place has a little bit of everything, toys, gloves, clothing, animal feed, hardware, outdoor furniture, building materials, snacks, and much more.Theres wheelchair accessible entrance, restrooms, and parking.Cowboy hats and boots, huge selection of jeans, shirts, and a discount section.I grabbed a boot cleaning to get rocks and dirt off our shoes because of all the dirt and rocks around our home, and it was discounted $40.Quick check out and always greeted immediately upon entry.

I felt like it was out of order. A lot of things I wanted they didnt have. Some of the things in clothing is out of date..

They are so helpful in there. They take the time to make sure I find the right size bolts for my projects and helped me get a difficult key size on a different visit. Very nice helpful people.

Bought Lawnmower, equal with Walmart. They assembled it.

I went into Big R today and bought a little plastic green house for my orchids to contain the humidity. I was going to order one off Amazon but I noticed they had some 20% percent off when you walk out of Big R, so the next time I went in I decided to support the local business and take advantage of the sale. When I got home I was excited to put it together and quickly realized it was missing almost half of the polls necessary to assemble the product. It was also full of mouse droppings and the instructions have been chewed up by the mice but I was still able to make it out to see that we were missing pieces. Even though we live about an hour out in the country when my husband got off work he decided that maybe we should just drive back to Lamar so I could get one that actually could be used. The so called manager named Shay, told me it could not be returned because it was on sale. I asked if I could at least trade it with one of the others on the hope that 1 of the others by chance had all the parts and it wouldnt be a total loss of my money. She informed me that I could not trade it for one of the others and accused me of possibly taking the pieces out of there myself. The boxes looked beat up a little bit and had been taped shut on the tops and bottoms. Although they looked beat up I never believed that they would be selling products with pieces missing out of them with out telling the customer that that was a possibility. I was sure that they would do right by me as the customer instead of ripping me off. I am blown away by the way I was treated. I really thought Big R had good customer service. Ive been shopping there for a decade and spend hundreds of dollars on expensive animal food each month. I never expected to be flat out robbed. I left the worthless greenhouse missing the pieces and my receipt there and told Shea I hope you appreciate the free 35 dollars and walked out. I will not be shopping at a store that is so incompetent that they sell their customers worthless products missing pieces and then refuse to make right by them once its brought to their attention. Buyer beware. Do not buy anything marked down if you cannot see for yourself that everything is there. They will screw you over and steal your money.

I had given up all hope to find a particular hose and pipe fitting needed for my trailer rig, nobody seemed to even know what I had. I went to Big R as a last ditch effort before going to a custom shop. Not only did the guy know exactly where my fittings and hose were, he gave me an extremely easy way to repair the hose I had!

Website is horrible. Shay helped a lot when I called the store to find out if they had what I was looking for. I didnt want to drive 60 miles, only to find out they didnt have what I needed.

Dirty, freight stacked in the isles, empty shelves, and employees standing around talking every time I go in. As a former employee, years ago, its a disgrace compared to what it used to be. Really sad!

Said I had to wait 2 whole hours for a backround check then didnt call when they said they were going to and then there all of a sudden closing in 10 minutes. 2 hours earlier than usual lazy guy on phone couldnt even take 2 minutes to tell me if I passed it or not I will not ever try purchasing a gun there again very unprofessional way of business in lamar colorado I wish I could give negative stars

While visiting from out of town we had something break on our trailer. Almost everything in town was closed except this store and Wal-Mart. The staff here went above and beyond to help us find what we so desperately needed to fix our trailer. They didnt carry the piece of wood we needed in the store but helped us track one down anyway. They were friendly and made us feel like they truly cared about us. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

85 bucks for a pair of fat man jeans, staff was very helpful and considerate for a person of my size, pricey but Ill probably do Amazon for the next pair of jeans.

Service was great. I was looking for a specific part, diffrent fine thread nuts & bolts, & they directed me right to them & had what I needed in stock.

The best part is the people who work there. I bought a nice $30 sprinkler that said it had a year warranty, after a year it stopped working. Everywhere else sold only cheepo plastic ones, So I went back and told Dave, and with out questions he said Well take care of it. Try that at Walmart or anywhere else and see what happens. Out of all the home improvement stores theyre the best. Better people, good selection, and theyre open till 8 at night 6 days a week.

Despite my own mis-identification of a product, the manager, Josh, worked thru the problem and at the end actually gave me a discount. I immediately filled my shopping list from the Big RED R. No more tractor stores for me. (I would have given them 5 stars but they did not have the 5/16 lock nuts I wanted. LOL)
