I was the first person at the shop this morning when it opened. The guys were very kind and got to my car immediately! I usually feel intimidated when I have to go to car shops alone. Being that Im a female. But Mr. Don made me feel very comfortable. He explained everything very thorough so I could understand exactly what was going on with my car. I am so happy I stopped by this shop! Great customer service guys!

I went to them for as minor service, and one of his techs did a half a** job. He corrected them so professional, I even brought pictures to show him that I wasnt making nothing up and he didnt want to see them. He honors his word and especially his service. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is because initially we were told a certain Price for the repair, but we get there and it was more which means. I had to wait to repair my vehicle, but upon taking my vehicle back. I must say they did a really a great job. I dropped my car off Friday morning and it was ready before close of that day. Compared to what I would have been charged I saved close to 200 dollars by taking my car to D&D . I plan on using them in the future as well for future car repairs.
BEWARE!!! I thought Don was an upstanding guy but I was wrong. It was all good until him and/or his mechanics broke my valve cover. They replaced the valve cover gasket as well as the water pump and cam shaft position sensor. He returned my car with the check engine light on, stating that even though he replaced the cam shaft position sensor (the reason why the light was on in the first place), the light still won’t go off. So because it wouldn’t go off, he decided that he wouldn’t charge me for the cam shaft position sensor. So as I began to drive the car after I got it back from him, I still noticed cam shaft position sensor issues such as cranking and acceleration issues. So I decided to take my car to a certified BMW shop. He replaced the cam shaft position sensor and informed and showed me that the previous one was NOT new and was torn and worn. Then they asked me if I got my valve cover gasket replaced recently, I said yes. They showed me the that whoever (D&D) replaced the valve cover gasket, must have cracked the valve cover when trying to access the valve cover gasket. He also showed me where Don placed silicon around it to seal it up. He suggested that I take it back to D&D so they could fix it and make it right, since it is a result of my check engine light being on. When I took it back to D&D, he denied that they did it, even though it wasn’t broken prior to me bringing it to them. And if it was broken prior to me bringing it to them, then they should have informed me! —— that’s probably why he said I could have the “free” cam shaft position sensor that wasn’t so new! He offered that I buy the valve cover and he put it on for free. I explained to him that I didn’t break it so I shouldn’t be responsible for replacing it. So I countered that he pay half for the valve cover and still put it on for free. Instead, he said he’ll give me $100 towards the valve cover and put it on. So I agreed under the condition that he purchase the valve cover (since it would be cheaper if he gets it since he’s a mechanic) and I’ll pay him for the valve cover at the rate he gets it and he still puts it on for free. We ended the conversation with him saying okay, I’ll look for the part and call you back. A week later, I called back to see if he found the part, he says “I’m not going to sell you the part for the price I got it for because I wouldn’t get anything from that.” What I don’t understand is what is the difference between me buying the part or him buying the part and me paying for the part??? He said because it takes him gas to get the part. So I explain that I would pick it up if that helps... he again said no, I buy the part. Again, I thought Don cared about his customers. He’s just like every other mechanic, they just want to get over on you; especially if you’re a woman. I’m trying to save money on buying something that HE broke and that’s still not enough, because somehow he wants to make a profit off of his mistake. Some things should be about correcting your wrongs. I was risking my life while I was driving a car that Don said they put a new cam shaft position sensor on; all while learning that they didn’t put one on there. My car could have stopped any time while I was driving on the highway. Yet, when it comes to fixing a mistake, he refuses. Get with a mechanic who is going to take responsibility and accountability for their work... either right or wrong!
Love the mechanics at D&D. Don and Jay are like family. These guys are straight to the point, honest and respectful. Reasonable prices for parts and labor.
I went in for a front end alignment and was helped almost immediately. In and out with full details of my alignment and wear patterns on my tires. This was my first visit and defintely feel that my money was not wasted as it has been many times in the past by others

I took my truck in for a simple fuel shut off vaule a $10 dollar part i ended paying $69 for the part that i found out was never put on. Then I was told i needed a Fuse box $479. I sent my daughter and a wrecker to pick up my truck and she was given keys to another car then she had to wait until he found my keys. I decided to move my truck to a replicable shop and was told i had been totally shafted. I did not need a Fuse box. My truck is running fine. D&D is a rip off stay away.
I brought my F-150 there a few years back and they took good care of my truck. Ill be back for sure. Thanks Don

I informed the manager that something could be wrong with the brakes then he said without looking at the car, thatll be $160 . Then he heard the noise in my car, then he said that would be $35. I then asked him what qas wrong with the car. The manager wouldnt tell me what was wrong with my car at first, after asking 10 times ( at least) he finally told me what was so called wrong. I questioned him about it because I didnt have a wreck on that side, I had it on the other side. He then said he would have them look at my car and come to the office, to get all my information down. After that he asked me to give him the money. I then questioned him why would he need the money now and how would I know if my car would be fixed. I then said I was wasting his time and he didnt have time. He refused to answer any of my questions. I asked if he could at least write it down in the contract and put his signature; he then tore up my information. Then he yelled and told the dudes to let my car down. Worst customer service. Why would I want to spend my money where they act like they dont need the money .
Prices are high, charges more than a dealership!
The worse shade tree macanic in Dallas glues parts back together and is much higher than a original dealership
