My experience at California Quarry Products was absolutely perfect. When I first called, I didnt know what to ask because I had never been to a rock quarry before. I spoke with Brett, who was so warm and welcoming. I told him what I was planning. He asked the size of the area and took it from there. He told me the exact amount I needed, recommended rocks that would be best for curb appeal, suggested the size bolder, and had everything delivered to my home within the hour. My project turned out beautifully. Well it was so nice I decided to do another section of my yard.I called a couple days later and Brett greeted me by name and remembered the rocks I purchased. It is very difficult to get that type of customer service nowadays. This time I didnt know the exact size of the lot. He drew a picture based on my description, and again took it from there. He told me I needed a little more than before. Even though he knew i was totally relying on him for the amount needed, he did not try to cheat me by selling me another skip. He suggested a half skip more and a bucket of large rocks. This saved me money and again my project was beautifully done.I read other reviews and someone commented that other companies were cheaper. I did not find that to be true based on the information I found. I called several other companies. One establishment would not even discuss pricing with me until I provided all my personal information and then they emailed a quote days later. I didnt want to wait a week or two to get started, and the pricing was much higher. Another place told me that I needed twice as many rocks as Brett had recommended, which would have been very costly if I hadnt gone to California Quarry Products. I prefer to spend my money where I am not only getting a great price, but receive excellent customer service, whether your order is small or large. Some companies treat their customers based on the size of their orders....large order customers get better service than those with small orders. Not here. BTW, the drivers were also very polite and helpful. Brett, you are the best. Thank you so very much!!!!! I would give 10 stars if I could. Highly highly recommend California Quarry Products.

There prices where a little bit less expensive but without a doubt would not spend 1 dime there.California Quarry is knowledgeable and helped us through how much product we needed to purchase for our project. Called looking for masonry sand to level the ground underneath an above ground pool for summer here in the AV. we have a 16ft round quick set pool and the guy who answered the phone was very helpful, walking me through how much sand i’d need for a set number of inches deep under the pool. with doing 2-4 inches, we paid about $150 delivered. the came within the hour and dropped it right on our driveway. anytime we need anything like that again we’re definitely coming back!

I ask for 2 yards of rocks the owner insisted that I only needed 1 yard of rocks say that it was plenty for the dimensions I gave, not only was one-yard not enough it took 4 yards of rocks to fill the space, what is the advantage for the owner just sell me what I asked for? $40.00 delivery charges. when I paid for the rocks I asked when is the truck go out? they said immediately so I decided to hang around and watch to make sure I got a full scoop of rocks 15 minutes go by and I ask when is the truck going to be loaded and leave? they say theyre not sure... Too bad negative stars arent available....Id give -5 stars. Went there several times for rockscaping project. 1st 2 went great. ..5 stars. Third time I went back for small order to finish up project. I asked the person at the counter for 1/4 skip. He (I must assume hes the owner as if he was an employee he would have been fired long ago) told me he cant sell me a 1/4 skip because its too difficult too calculate that amount in the bucket. I said just put in less than a 1/2 bucket and we should be good. I just didnt need a 1/2 skip and didnt want to waste it. I even offered to buy the 1/2 skip, assuming they probably had a minimum skip charge. At that time he became belligerent and started accusing me of trying to tell him how to run his business. I said no, I wasnt, I just didnt need that much, cant you put less than 1/2 in the skip? He again got even more belligerent and said if I dont like the way he does business then I should take it elsewhere......and have a nice day. What a complete jerk. Good way to treat your customers, especially repeat customers. I have acreage and am currently planning on extensive rockscaping. His loss. I went to Crown Landscape Materials and they were more than happy to take my money. Read their other reviews....seems to be a pattern here.This is an angry person.....best to avoid like the plague. Too bad....the other employees were great.
