This is the third time Ive been to this establishment. The staff is absolutely amazing. And very respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. My daughter has been pierced here (on said three occasions), and they do such an amazing job. They ALWAYS make sure to give her the proper care Instructions before she leaves as well. This is the second time I’ve been to this establishment and all I can say is they’re awesome! My first time was to get a tattoo and the tattoo artist was super nice and he made me feel very comfortable. It was my first tattoo so he made conversation and helped me not feel so nervous. Went in on 6-23-18 to get new earrings for a daith piercing for my mom. We had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie. Thank you so much for your time, patience and the education on proper piercing and care. We went somewhere else and we were all but literally pushed out of the door. This place is owned and staffed by female piercers and artists, by far the cleanest shop I have ever been in. Dont believe the hater reviews (no doubt the other shops who dont like that a woman owns this place), Hottie Body is the only place I am ever going to go for my piercings and tattoos. So this was my first visit to a tattoo shop for myself. This 40 year, vanilla, mom of two girls decided to get her nose pierced.I was going to go to another shop that I know of, but once I found out this shop was owned by a woman, I knew I wasnt going anywhere else.I hadnt done any research so I was unnerved when I found out I was going to have a stake pounded into my beak (exaggeration). But Stephanie was quick and it was done with no complications. Two days later (Sunday) I had a question about the stud placement so I called the shop and found them closed. A number given allows text so despite the shop being closed I was able to have my questions answered and my fears put to rest. Technology meets Customer Service. I love it.Im happy with the knowledge, cleanliness and customer service and I would recommend Hottie Body!

So I had actually already gotten my belly pierced at Hottie Body sometime last summer but I was considering going in their, among other places for a tattoo. Since going in there I find some of the other reviews on this page to be sort of funny. One guy was talking about how he was sure the artist were not qualified and that they needed to have a certificate in blood diseases. To be honest it caught my attention so I was curious and wasnt about to get a tattoo from unqualified artists. But since curiosity always gets me, I ended up going in and talking to an artist and he gladly showed me both his blood borne pathogen certificate and his la county registration, which were both current. He actually then also showed me the other artists certificates also and the all of the shops permits. And then, (this might sound odd) I used the restroom and it was totally clean, which is more than I can say for a lot of shops down in the valley, I cant remember any of the shops here either being extremely clean or extremely dirty so I wont comment on them. I picked which artists I wanted and he gave me a very good quote on my tattoo idea and said he would have it drawn up by the next day. I went back in and he showed me, we made a couple minor changes and did it and I am sooooo happy with the result. It was absolutely worth the money and probably more. Go talk to the people at this place!!!!

I heard Hottie Body was female owned and staffed and that they didnt have a shop minimum. I found out that is true and have never been treated as well as they treated me. I have been into tattoo shops and was always turned off by the atmosphere but found this place to be clean, professional and caring. For my navel piercing they were about half what the other guys wanted and I highly recommend them.

I went in to Hottie Body for the first time not long ago to get a tongue piercing and found myself pleasantly surprised. Compared to all the shops I had looked into before, they offered the piercing for the lowest price. On top of that, their selection of jewelry was top notch, for all kinds of piercings. I have already bought several new pieces of jewelry from them. Not to mention they even sell pretty high grade tattoo equipment as well, helping out new artists wanting to be in the similar field. But not only was I very happy with the piercing afterward, but the artists were easy to be around. They didnt act as though they were better then you and were easily approachable and friendly, unlike the way I was treated at all other shops. Their rooms were clean and sanitary, as well as the artists practicing safe piercing and tattooing techniques. In comparison to a lot of the other shops as well, it was on a much nicer side of town too. I would feel safe leaving the shop even after the sun goes down.Being they also do tattoo work, I asked about that and found there wasnt a shop minimum like every other shop I had been to. A few short weeks ago I had my chest done there, for an amazing price as well, and Im still astonished with the quality of the work. And just like before, work place as clean as ever with the artist being just as sanitary.Ive had tattoos done by other shops in the AV and I am very dissatisfied with them, not just the tattoos but the employees as well. They were rude, disconnected and did really poor work. I dont think Im going to go to any other shop but Hottie Body from now on for both piercings and tattoos. Not only that, but go there to fix tattoos the other shops messed up.So, in short, if you want the best prices, the best service and best results go to Hottie Body.

I didnt expect a response like this at all. Ive gotten my industrial piercing here before and was happy with the result. However, my one star review is due to how I was treated in this conversation. I asked a simple question and got hit with this, and how you treat your customers shows a great deal about how much you care about them and treat them. I would not want this person peircing my body.

So happy with my daith piercing. Got it 2 days ago. No headache sense I got it either. Well it has been 1 week now ear is sore but does not hurt anymore. AND STILL NO HEADACHE. Now that its few months later i have fewer headaches but still a few major migraines but ill take fewer any day i still recommend anyone suffereing to try getting it done.

Came here with my boyfriend to get his ears pierced, the peircer rushed us to get the store closed @6:30pm ($50 for both). You can say it was fast and easy. Except that when he was alone in the room with her, (Only one person is allowed to be in the room with the peircer.) she kept rubbing up against and getting way too close to him. It made him really uncomfortable. Rather than that, good priercings.

I went in around the beginning of March. I got a piercing in my ear actually a Daith piercing. The lady who pierced my ear was very thorough in explaining everything she was going to be doing before she did it. And amazingly everything she said she was going to do and how gentile the piercing was was awesome! It didnt hurt at all! Well ok, initially but she did a really amazing job! I had the worst experience ever at this jewelry store getting my belly button pierced, it was my first time & I love getting walked through when getting tattoos, piercings, etc. I got my piercing out of no where & my body went into shock, I almost threw up. The worst part was that they made me stand in a small cramped room during my piercing. Maybe a month or two after I received this piercing it fell off because the lady did it too short, the same thing happened with my friend who got it the SAME day, hers fell off a day after mine. Worst experience ever.

Not impressed. ordered a kit advertised to do a VCH piercing. The order was smooth, and delivered quickly. (that part was good) Hot body shipped a cork instead of areceiving tube as ordered. We notified them and had a receiving tube shipped outto replace the cork. When we got the receiving tube we were shocked by the diameter.a 6mm dia tube for a VCH piercing. Why? Hot Body told me that was the receiving tube that they always supply with these kits. We were told by many and the piercer who was going to perform this procedure for us, that there is NO way that a tube that large should be used for this type of piercing. Hot body offered a refund if I shipped back the useless tube. not worth the effort. dont want to deal with a company that has no idea what they are doing. we will chalk this one up to experience and take our future business elsewhere.

I have tried to call your shop three times recently during your work hours, you guys dont answer your phone, and as you know, there is not even an answering machine?Well since you clearly bumped your head the morning you wrote the response including me, Ill take it easy on you. First and foremost, I did not write that review AND if it was confirmed myself or any other competitor wrote it Google would remove it. Me, you and anyone with a brain understands that, for goodness sakes the review is 5 years old!It IS a disgusting and horrible thing you are selling tattoo supplies to the public. When you first opened up the AV Press was going to write and article with me in regards to how much staph infections were in the emergency room, we also had a couple educators on board from local high schools in regards to minors on campus with viable tattoos. . They stated so many kids have tattoos now, they cannot enforce the no tattoos rule at school. This all happened with in a year or so of your opening and selling supplies to the public. I wish I could turn back time and work closer with them to get that article written. At the time work was so busy with my shop and tattooing, I let the project go. You can also buy methamphetamine and crack pipes online, should I sell them? NO, that is a terrible thing to do to my community. Any way you shake the stick, any wording you use, or any justification you make it is just wrong. As far as your supposed 30 years of medical experience, how does that help the people that are tattooing out of their house? Do they somehow have cross contamination knowledge because you say you do? Clearly if you had the supposed 30 years medical experience you say do, you would understand where myself and half the community is coming from.As far as me or any other Tattooer sending their girlfriend in to buy supplies? Your kidding me right? Does a mechanic send his shop help to get tools from the .99 cent store? You sell substandard Chinese garbage supplies. Any half witted, half legitimate tattooer wouldnt use the eBay products you sell. The companies myself and any other legitimate tattooer gets supplies from only sells to professionals. These are primarily American made, tried and true products. Not risky-at-best cheap Chinese supplies.Also you have stated I inherited my shop from my father? Well, I havent spoke to my father in over 20 years, I dont even know what he does for a living, and he was never a tattooer, so nope your also wrong there. I took out a loan and payed it back like most business owners in America. There however is another shop owner in this town that inherited his shop. That was not me though, just another lie from you to slander me possibly?Lastly, no I do not sell tattoo supplies, I make and sell hand made tattoo machines. I only sell them to liscenced professional tattooers that are working in legitimate tattoo shops. I was going to give 1 star but I decided to give 2 because my first experience here was good. I didnt have to wait long to be seen, they marked me to confirm where I wanted the piercing, the staff seemed friendly and my healing process was a breeze! Had no problem. Now, my second time I got my cartridge pierced, lets keep in mind I had my cartridge done 4 times (from a different company) and had no problem, though I did remove the previous piercings it was due to appearance reasons, but I never had any swelling or infection from them. The piercing done here was the most painful piercing I ever got, i felt as though a nerve was hit in the process. My whole ear was extremely swollen and my neck and ear was in an abundance amount of pain. My ear was swollen to the point where the earing sunk into my ear. I text the company (because they didnt answer when I called) and told them my problem. The earing was stuck in my ear and I needed to get this one out because it was to small due to swelling.Keep in mind everyone takes swelling differently and they should have multiple different sizes due to different size ears. But they told me as well as other customers that give a negative review on them they used the correct size equipment. Obviously they didnt because if they did I wouldnt have had this problem.My ear started to swell approx 2 days prior to contacting the company. Due to them being closed July 3rd and 4th I was told to come in on the 5th at 12pm when they open. I was expected to keep the earing in for 2 days even though it was stuck in my ear and causing me an extreme amount of pain. It got to a point where I couldnt take it anymore and had to take it out.I contacted the company telling them my situation and I was told their is nothing they can do because I shouldnt have took the earing out. Realistically, who would keep a piercing that is sinking inside their ear and causing an extreme amount of pain in for 2 almost 3 days?!The person I contacted seemed unprofessional and honestly like they didnt even care about the situation and how its all my fault. Im not sure why they are voted #1 in the AV. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.Also I was reading the owner responces to other customers and they seemed so rude! Like they are always right, and what they did was right, and how they handled everything right. Very disappointed. They are #1 in the AV to mess up your body and will not fix it nor do anything to fix it. Yes their prices are good but is it worth it for a bad piercing???? I rather spend a few dollars more and get it done right the first time.For future customers I advize to go elsewhere. Had I looked at these reviews befor e I went, I wouldnt have came here. I wouldnt say it was horrible, just very unprofessional i went in yesterday the 3rd of oct talked to the artist and he seems very nice and his pricing is very reasonable however i set my appointment for 1 pm the next day and i paid my deposit to ENSURE i get my appointment at 1. I show up at 12:49 for my appointment and no one is there i wait till it hits 1 still no one there i waited 30 mins and still no one (keepin mind their hours online and on their door say mon-sat noon to 8pm)So after calling and texting waiting maybe 15 more mins finally get a text back saying they are open at 3 today even though every thing says noon the artist said he had no idea that the hours for today were changed to open up at 3 just for today and that he didnt think to call his clients about the time change. Im from out of town and set my appointment accordingly to my day and now Im leaving tomorrow disappointed cause getting a tattoo was one of the things i wanted to do went i was out here in cali.

Paid 60 extra bucks for 12 gauge needles got pierced in 14 gauge ....its a little upsetting but other than that the piercings are great. I have no complaint except for a customer service miscommunication I guess
