Wonderful Coffee Shop.I ordered a single espresso and was instantly impressed by the fact that they have single espresso cups available for take away.The espresso was excellent in flavor and clarity. It was a great temperature in the cup with exciting upfront acidity that led to a fruity and maybe coco powder flavor as I finished my cup. I am unsure as to what beans they are using, but I really liked them!I would absolutely return! With straight espresso tasting as good as it does here, I can only imagine that all their other drinks would be incredible.

Great place for a cup of coffee! Coffee beverages are wonderful here, and very reasonably priced. The staff was helpful and fast. The atmosphere is very welcoming - a great place to sit down and answer some emails or get some work done. Highly recommend stopping by if youre in the area.

Mean Cup is one of my favorite coffee shops in Lancaster! Their coffee is great and their baristas are super laid back and friendly. I also love the atmosphere and I do appreciate that their is always a place to sit. However, it is unfortunate that they are not opened longer. If anything could improve, staying open for longer would be great!

My son and i enjoying this place . Respectful courtesy cheerful employees very time fashioned. They make sure your order is correct and just how you like it. The coffee was so delightful and so refreshing my son enjoying a strawberry banana slushy. Mmmm mommy this is good ! If you want to place that is quick filling and some healthy stuff as you got a sweet tooth they seem to got it this is my first time and my sons first time ever come in here and the experience was very good speaking for myself . I recommend this place.

These guys are PHENOMENAL! Seriously, the coffee is kickin & their service is slammin!Today I had ordered an americano, thinking I asked for iced. Order came up & it was hot, no biggie I asked for a cup of ice to put it over. The staff behind the counter immediately said no, a new one it is. Within seconds, they had whipped up an iced americano for my order.Without a doubt, solid customer service!

I was addicted to the place right when I entered it the first time, social distance and masks are required which is always great. Their coffee is definitely worth a visit if your in Lancaster, the prices are also out of this world!

Prices were surprisingly very good, my fruit salad was amazing, and my french vanilla iced latte was even better. I usually dont like coffee shops like this, but I really enjoyed my time and my items here. Staff wasnt the most personable, but that could have been because it was a really busy time. They were not rude at all, just kind of about their business. I would recommend this place, good food and also would be a nice study spot for students. I will definitely return!

Needs to update hours - coffee shop that’s not open until 8AM but posts they’re open. When asked if neighboring shop had coffee, got a “I don’t know” from the owner.Would not recommend.

When Im looking for a good study spot to write, read, and have good coffee, I go to Mean Cup. Their coffee is always good and is very affordable for the quality cup you get! Not to mention how inviting and enjoyable their space is. Comfy sitting chairs, plenty of outlets, and cool AC on a hot day makes for a fantastic experience. I will be working hard to be a regular!

Best coffee outside my own home!!! I make sure that I get a Mean Cup every time I go to Lancaster! The roast is tasty, not too strong, nice and hot! My husband loves the white hot chocolate. Come to Lancaster California and Ill be a loyal customer!

I really enjoyed this place the first time I went but noticed the staff was a little standoffish except for one girl. Im not a coffee expert by any means so I had some questions and I was trying to be lighthearted with the staff but most of them had straight faces and did not seem happy to see customers. I work in food so I understand completely and just figured it was a bad day. I was really excited to go back a second time but the atmosphere started to feel uncomfortable and uninviting. I am a bit disappointed by the staff for the most part. Not very friendly.

I loved the hot chocolate and the mocha that we ordered. I liked how they have a variety of drinks and I also liked the set-up of the place! I love coffee shops so I pay great attention to things that people like me would like. I loved the placement of the tables and chairs - not too near, not too far. Theres also a table against the windows and I was happy sitting there, waving at the dogs and dog-walkers passing by. There were outlets which is a plus for laptop-users. Restrooms are inclusive. Already planning when I can go back next week.

Disrespectful employees. I wasnt sure of their mask policy when I walked in and 2 employees told me I needed one. I told them I would just go somewhere else because I didnt have one and was mocked as I was walking out. They should keep their egos in check when dealing with customers and not bait people into arguments. I will never go here again.

The coffee was excellent. I had a great time relaxing and enjoying it with a friend. The place is such a neat atmosphere. There are giant paintings of Godzilla, Mothra, and King Kong! I love it! It is very close to my house and I will definitely be back often.

The shop has an industrial atmosphere.Adding to my review: I have been going here for a few years now and I can say this is one of my favorite coffee shops in Lancaster County. They make a good variety of drinks and I have to say that all of them have taste great. The cookies and muffins that the have are also really nice to pair with a cup of coffee in the morning. Mean Cup goes through different seasons in terms of who is hanging out there. Lots of F&M students during the semester and mostly local residents in the Summer and holiday breaks. The staff still continue to impress with the inviting atmosphere they create.

Coffee is excellent and morning pastries and stratas are tasty. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Comfortable surroundings and good service. Very good coffee.

I like this place well enough. Its like any other pseudo-industrial looking cafe. Its clean and bright. The staff is friendly and my drink order is always up quickly. Theres a food selection. Its a good local place to meet or sit for a while by yourself too.

For charging like Starbucks definitely is not the same atmosphere. Rude and snappy cashier the pastries are gross and hard. The coffee aren’t that great is overly sugary. I rather go to Starbucks and get treated as I deserved.I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place and paying for an overpriced coffee with a rude cashier.

I love Mean Cup! The prices are good and I love that they’ll discount it for a reusable cup! I especially love that they have a location outside of market so that I can get to it every day!

Please get a friendly cashier at the front. We usually come here and order a simple order and never give anyone any problems but he was very rude for no reason and had a horrible attitude, so sad to see him interact with the public

Mean Cup has excellent coffee drinks for good prices. The food offerings are all high quality and include vegetarian and vegan options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We go to Mean Cup every time we visit Lancaster.

Great atmosphere. Boisterous but not disturbing. Not so during weekends. Very noisy.

A good place to stop by. I feel like I can either sit down and enjoy a coffee or just as easily take it to go. They do good coffee and pretty delicious specialty drinks for a pretty decent price and without pretension. The proximity to campus makes it a hot spot for students and faculty alike, so seating can be at a premium, but the turnover tends to be pretty quick.

The tea is great. Service was great and thoughtful and ridiculously fast. Temp is perfect. Price was low.Not sure what the other comments meant by calm. Its 10:45am and this place is busy & noisy (cement and metal deco). Doesnt bother me any, but I noticed other comments implied otherwise.

This place is literally the worst coffe place I have ever gone to in my life, not because of the coffee, in fact I didnt even get the chance to try it. I went there ordered a hot drink. The lady was incredibly rude, the atmosphere is so tight and crowded you have barely anywhere to stand and then they burnt my face. The drink was so hot that when j took a sip my mouth and lip burned. I dont mean in like an ouch that was hot kind of way in like my face is numb and red kind of way. I very nicely went in and asked for something to cool it down, I didnt bother asking for my money back because it wasnt really worth it price wise. The man gave me a burn cream and then proceeded to apologize in a back handed sort of way. He said sorry but we make all our drinks at a 140 degree temperature, so and then shrugged. I left feeling as though it was my fault my face got burned. Drinks are supposed to be hot but not to the degree where it burns your face and when something like this does happen perhaps as a business you should find a better way to help compensate the customer.

Ordered 3 coffees and a tea. All they got right was one of the coffees and you can’t even call them.

Im originally from California and have been to many coffee shops, but this one definitely has the best of everything. The prices are amazingly cheap, the coffee is excellent and perfect drinking temperature when you get it, and the atmosphere is perfect for hanging out with your friends and chatting, a well balanced level of noise so its not library quiet but not sports bar loud. Definitely gonna come back when I visit in the area again!

Mean Cup has a fun atmosphere, with great quality (and value) coffee. I like that they have different blends every day for drip coffee, and give good suggestions. The staff the day that I went was terrific. I look forward to going back again soon!

The noise level is challenging sometimes but it is so well lit with windows on both sides that it is a delightful place to meet even on darker days. Its always packed which is a testament to the popularity and you often see people from the nonprofit sector because it is a popular meeting place for that group.

Lattes were very bad. My wife and I actually threw them out and went somewhere else afterwards. Never done that before. Tasted like a gas station coffee. The place looks awesome inside but if the drinks arent good what the point.
