Johnny Boys is a perfect example of why you should eat at local places instead of big chains. I stopped there yesterday while I was driving through town, and got a take-out burger. (Hi, Johnny Boy! I was the white guy with one leg and a funny beard.) Service wasnt lightning-fast but it was friendly, and my burger was huge and delicious. It was a *real* burger, not that McHardeeKing stuff. (At pretty much the same price, too!) If I go through Lancaster again, Im going to stop at Johnny Boys for a full sit-down lunch. This is the kind of REAL food we used to get while traveling, before the chains took over.

Johnny Boys is a local favorite. The owner is a local and understands Southern cooking etiquette. Its a hole in the wall but its good.

The food is great there but the service suck been there twice both times I waited at least 35-40 minutes to order food. Second time I left still waited too long to order food poor service.

Happened upon this place while walking the dog downtown, so glad I stopped in. Ordered a greasy, tasty, hefty cheeseburger and a set of super tasty fried whole wings. Definitely recommend this place if youre in town and need a good juicy burger fix at a great price, less than $9 with fries and a struggle to finish.

My fish sandwich was fried to perfection thats what I ordered but I saw a whole bunch of other delicious things rice and gravy green beans cabbage delicious

If you ever want a greatole fashioned hand patted burger this is the place not only was the burger great the hospitality makes you feel right at home, didnt try anything else but watching everyone else enjoying the home cooked meals WOW this is the type of place you will come on a regular for meals as well as sandwiches
