I would like to share my experience with Nick and Andrea with Clayton Holmes in Lancaster We started our journey back in march at Clayton homes in Rock Hill. We found a home. That we wanted filled out the papers put money down but never heard from them when we was approved a. I would call and never got a call back from Rock Hill. One day I was waiting on the phone for 20 minuthold to to hang up call back and find out the guy had left the office with me on hold. That is when we decided to try out Clayton homes in LancasterFrom the start they was very helpful we found another home that we love so we are going to be getting a new home with land. I was hoping to be in it by Thanksgiving but these things take time. But if I had it all over again I would have went to Lancaster first that would have saved me some time. I cant so thank you Nick and Andrea for all the helpif I know anyone that is looking for a home i will tell the to go see nick and Andrea

If I could give negative stars I would. After 2 years in our brand new home we discovered they left us in unlivable hazardous environment with our theee kids under two years old. They will not respond to me or call me back either. They are real good at treating you like family til it’s all said and done.

They have gone above and beyond to find my perfect home and they did within my budget and not only are they helping me but they also put my son and his family in a home of their own too. Andrea in Lancaster SC is the Best at her job, I know now why she stays so busy! If you are looking for a new home I highly recommend talking to her, her and her team can help you!

While my first few visits went awesome, when I got a mortgage payment estimate that was well over what I could afford, I emailed several times with suggestions on other homes to get estimates on and it has been total radio silence for 2 weeks when I said I can’t do that payment on a single income. I have not heard one word in 2 weeks and am going elsewhere this week. Such a shame because I was really excited about working with them. I get people are busy in their jobs but it takes only minutes to respond to an email.

Simply Put Andrea worked with me and My Husband and got us in the Beautiful Home we truly wanted. Not something we would have to settle for due to finances. She is the Very best and our Home was delivered and set up Flawlessly. I really cant begin to stress how awesome she is in this Post. Everyone we worked with from beginning to end of the process was so nice and easy to deal with even down to The warranty Guys. Please dont believe the Negative reviews Clayton Lancaster will go above and beyond for their customers. I Know....we are one of them and Very Happy Homeowners.

A whirlwind of emotions.Our salesperson, Chris did a wonderful job listening to our needs and concerns and provided timely updates about the progress of the houseIf you are going with a Clayton home, I do suggest you find a local relator to help you with finding the land. They do provide land/home packages, but the tri-county area of York, Chester and Lancaster Counties are not very modular/manufactured home-friendly areas. Hire a local relator that can maybe think outside the box and come up with some land choices.The entire process from closing on the home/land was around 5 months, around two months longer than expected. This wasn’t that bad as we were still renting our townhouse and it was going nowhere.Mistakes were made during the building process, mistakes that could’ve been prevented if their arrogant project manager had been a little more attentive to some of the details. I then began making very simple phone calls to contractors, just to ensure everyone was kosher on the details of the work that needed to be completed on the house. My wife gets a call a day later requesting that we NOT call those contractors. It’s our money, it’s our house. I feel I have every right to call and ask.The only reason I am not giving this a five-star review is because of this manager’s attitude. I later spend 15 minutes arguing with this manager over the phone about some of those details. To my dismay, she argued with me. How can anyone argue with a customer, especially one that’s going to be in a Clayton Home quite possibly the rest of their lives? I am not requesting her to “kiss my ...”, simply listening to me, calmly and genuinely caring about my concerns would’ve went a VERY LONG way. Instead, she argued with me as we went back and forth for at least 15 minutes.This should be a learning experience for her. Take a deep breath and LISTEN. No one cares about how many years of customer service you’ve had. What matters is the fact I truly felt I was given very bad service by their “project manager.” This should’ve been a 5-star experience, but now has been tainted.The home itself is beautiful. I love coming home from work and enjoying the new home and its view. We have had a few interesting problems, but they were taken care of IMMEDIATELY.Both Andrea and Chris did a wonderful job taking care of the problems we’ve had so far. Luckily, its been nothing major and all but one has been fixed so far. I feel confident enough that if anything pops up in the near future, they will handle it quickly.

Bought a home from this company and it turned out to be a terrible mistake !! Take some good advise and dont buy a home from this dishonest company. They lied to me and my family and we learned the hard way like alot of others I have met!! This is one of Warren Buffetts ways of making money and its not a good company in my opinion!!

After a very slack experience from Rock Hill SC Clayton Homes, I went to Lancaster and spoke with Andrea. Let me tell you, this woman goes above and beyond for her customers! She is informative and patient with a very nervous buyer. Were just waiting on our closing date now. A process I was dreading has been almost painless. Greatly appreciate all Andrea and her teams hard and diligent efforts!

I would recommend anyone to get their dream home here! They have been the best group of people to work with from beginning to end. They are great with following up and keeping you in the loop with things. Any questions or concerns I may have had, they helped me with no hesitation at all. I never knew that one day of just walking around looking at homes, and unsure of where to start, months later I would be moving into my new home! Because of them my family and I can start making memories in our dream home!

Will update if house is ever finished. But Andrea is awesome....I have referred 2 families to them. Their houses are really nice complaint is they take so long to complete a build... 8 mths and counting....Andrea is great...been given no less then 3 closing dates, each month or more apart. They just do not get things done

Chris Catoe is absolutely amazing! He goes above and beyond anything you can imagine! No matter how many times I called and nit picked or changed something he was right on top of fixing it. He went through every little detail from shutters on my house to the cabinet colors with me. I used him at another location and was very sad to see him leave. Not only did he do an awesome job at Making sure everything was perfect for my kids and I he also became a great friend! Thank you Chris for making my home buying experience a very special and memorable one!

Andrea McPherson is way worse than rude. She falsified my contract. Heres how this went. I signed a Dales agreement with one sales person which included land improvements and setup cost. Andrea takes over and has me sign another paper with the same figure only about 800 different. I ask what is clearing allowance she gives me a different number than I seen on the first agreement. She said she dont know about the first costs sheet. She revised the cost sheet and never showed me the new figures. So now she hasnt emitted enough money to get the land cleared and expects that to be paid by me. There is a shortage of funds in that item where did it go? She put it in her pocket. And I get no clearing and am left paying more. There is another veyeran on here complaining l. I guess Angela doesnt see a huge profit with Veterans so she is really sticking it to us. Makes me sorry I defended her in a War. And on top of that she dont answer my questions. If she answers other peoples questions then thats because she is ignoring the people on her list that she doesnt make a mint off of. Like Veterans. The landowner in my deal said she hung up on him. They make you sign a contract that says anything you asked for verbally to the salesperson is not considered at all binding. And yes, Andrea will use this rule. The first salesperson Frank was great. Very transparent and could communicate like an adult.

My experience with this location Sales Manager Andrea McPherson was very unprofessional. I inquired about several homes with her via email as she requested, TWICE with no replies after 3 days. I telephoned her twice and was told that she was busy as I caught the assistant in a lie. Therefore, I informed the assistant that I will take my business elsewhere to a more professional business. I am an Army veteran seeking an affordable home for my family and I and shouldnt have had this occurred in this great country! I will be forwarding this complaint to BBB and Consumers Affairs to warn prospective buyers of what they can expect. 😕😕😒😒

My experience with Andrea (sales manager) of Clayton Homes in Lancaster 12/28/16 was unprofessional. It s rare to call for information about a buyer client and to be told that, I DONT HAVE TO ANSWER ANY OF YOUR QUESTIONS! then hang up!!! Worthy & Associates Real Estate Firm believes in 110% customer service. I called Claytons Corporate office and spoke with a very pleasant representative name Mattie who gave me the office manager name. I took a chance to call him and guess who answers.... Andrea..... Still the same unprofessional attitude!!! A class in Customer Service is very much needed!!!!
