What a popular spot when you first pull in to town! On a hot summer day, its the perfect treat to cool off. Menu is cute. You say ice cream and the second word sounds like scream. So you order by how many screams you want. My son ordered a one scream cone of his favorite, mint chocolate chip. It was equal to about 3 scoops! I loved my kona coffee sundae and went with the servers recommendation of sugar cone sprinkles. He was shocked. He said no one ever goes with his advice. I dont know why not. It was a great recommendation. The place was busy. Waited a while to get our turn but good things come to those who wait!

Lemon meringue ice cream was phenomenal. The servings are large and the price is right. Can’t wait to go back and try more.EDIT: came back (drove a long way cause your hours say you are open) and it’s 2:30 on Thursday and it’s closed! Called and Gannet Place answered and said it’s opening at 5. So what are your hours?? Are you closing after Labor Day?

Chasing that elusive unicorn known as the chokecherry shake. Until I find it, I m forced to make do with similar flavors.The chocolate peanut butter was d*mned good, though nothing like a chokecherry shake.

Homemade ice creams. Very good. Interesting variety. From sugary mix-ins to coffee flavored, there is something for everyone in-between! The only downfall is that all the flavors are listed on the walls, but if youre a visual person, the ice cream it self is very hard to see in the cooler. Very generous portions. They also have sherbet for you non dairy folks. Yummy!

The huckleberry shake was awesome worth 5 bucks. My kid loved the pop rock ice cream it tastes like fruit loops. Will be visiting the scream shack alot.

The shops design is unique, but the flavors are the same as to many other ice cream shops. At the time of this review they didnt take credit/debit cards.

We were walking by and through we would ask a question about the town and maybe buy our son an ice cream the girls who were in the window ignored us and played on their phones as we stood there looking stupid we walked away all 5 of us! As we walked away they looked over their phones and laughed very bad customer service!
