My husband is a contractor. He frequently shops this Home Depot for supplies. I wish I could give this store higher marks. Generally he has no complaints.HOWEVERthe wood is JUNK.Its not the stores fault. Its lack of quality control.Sometimes its full of black mold, probably because the pressure treated boards come in soaking wet. In any case its neatly piled on a skid to be sold (at full price!)His biggest complaint is the skids full of ripped, knotty, warped wood that he has to painstakingly look through to find a few good pieces.In his business-time is money! He cant factor in the hours spent looking through the wood into an estimate.And Im not exaggerating: I literally mean hours.For Example:In the first picture, the stack in the foreground and to right side were rejects. He ended up settling for the so-called best of the worst
Went to store, spent an hour choosing a vinyl tile flooring. Measure person came to my house next day, and said job was easy. 100 square foot, tiny powder room and laundry room.. There was no follow up, so I called, and was told that the vinyl tile would not work, but they had chosen a wood looking vinyl in its place. Specifically told the sales person at store, that I wanted tile, not wood.Called the store, and the flooring person was rude and unhelpful. Eventually she hung up on me (Thanks, Deb). Called the manager of the store who was clueless, and not too concerned one of her associates had hung up on me.Can anyone at Home Depot, explain to me, why I am fighting so hard to give them business, and all they offer is rudeness and indifference???The company spent money on marketing the flooring, having associates working in the flooring department, sending measurement people out, and then when I am ready to accept the quote, try everything possible to annoy the customer, and cause me to cancel. I will give the work to a small business, who will appreciate the opportunity. I will make a point of telling everyone this sad story, and to avoid Home Depot at all costs
Getting someone on the phone is difficult, getting the right person you need to talk to is even worse. Halloween this year was a disaster I didnt even get to see the majority of their merchandise since i arrived too early and then by the time i came back 90%+ of it was sold out.Christmas is up in a timely manner too bad I was trying to buy Halloween merchandise
The things this company claims about helping veterans are a joke. My being a veteran did nothing to protect my job in the middle of COVID when they decided they were going to get rid of everyone who they so much as suspected of being pro mask. During my time working here, I was coughed on purposefully by customers who likely have neurological impairments stemming from an exposure to toxoplasmosis. Certain people who work here will actively undermine your reputation and try to get them to fire you, so no ones job is safe, except of course for the four different people who are disabled who quote unquote work here.Minorities and people with social workers following them around to keep them from drooling on the customers have protected jobs. This is not a good place to work or shop.It is the ultimate insult to be told your services are no longer required when youre literally the top performer and everyone else is doing only the work they feel like doing. Productivity tracking is ignored and in my case my high productivity was cited as my reason for termination. It didnt matter to them that I was a vet, it didnt matter that I had two kids, and more importantly, the TRUTH didnt matter. I have lost thousands in potential wages and was unable to obtain unemployment. Companies like Home Depot, by hiring people and then randomly letting them go despite hard work and perfect attendance are contributing to crushing poverty in the lives of so many good and decent people.Dont shop here, dont work here, dont believe the hype.
Dont order doors from them! They first ordered the wrong doors (handle was on the wrong side- mind you 4 doors!). Then told me there would be a delay- 3 weeks out! Okay, the morning theyre suppose to come, tell me they thought the doors were already at my house- duh, no you bring them when you install them! So needless to say another cancelation on their part and another delay! Well Im going to cancel the order despite it going to be delayed, I will not allow them to service within my home with all these delays and who knows what mistakes will occur, they cannot be trusted at this point.
The help I received in doors was a 5 but the stock is very limited they only had 4 our of 7 doors I needed and yes all the same style but out of 36 doors so I needed trim also but and very limited even in the pro pack they only have the small door trim and small floor trim and I needed the bigger size in both so I looked in the racks but no bigger size in the colonial door trim so I had to go to another store for that and the bigger trim with the og design on top they had but i needed 16 ft long qty 30 but after going thru them could only find 17 good one so again had to pick them up from another store
We came in towards the end of business hours and the overnight restocking crew was very helpful and greatly appreciated.
Great place for do-it-yourself. No problem buying any tools and any type of home accessories.All staff are very kind.
We shop there because it has a very large and well stocked Home Depot with very knowledgeable and courteous associates. Also there is one of the few Office Max/Office Depot venues in the area which we get a lot of our office supplies.

Good staff. People go out of way to help you at this location which is great. Some other spots you have to walk around for ten minutes until you can find someone to ask a question. Was able to find what I was looking for and they had it in stock which was great also. Recommend this ovation due to the helpful staff!

Not only were both of the employees here that we dealt with super unhelpful, but the one was also very rude. We went there to get a sheet of acrylic glass and the sizes they had were bigger than what we needed, so we thought we’d see if they were able to cut it like they do lumber there. The first employee had no idea what we were talking about and just told us to ask another guy in lumber. As soon as we started walking towards the second guy he just kept shaking his head at us. When we got closer he rudely stated that “he already knew what we were gonna ask” and just said no. When we then asked what we should do, looking for suggestions we got attitude and condescending responses. As someone that works in customer service, that behavior is just not okay. Customer service obviously isn’t anywhere near the top of Home Depot’s priority list.
Never usually have a problem with this location but recently bought a toilet seat from here and when I got home to put it on, I pulled out a dirty old used toilet seat. It was disgusting. My wife went to return it and get the one we originally picked out. Someone helped her but when we opened the new one, it was new but not the one we wanted. I just put it on and dealt with it. I know staffing is an issue and theres a lot put on the people that actually show up to work. But a used toilet seat should never ever be resold like that.
The staff here worked hard to get us a new 34 ton splitter. They encouraged my sons in their growing business selling wood and their new investment. Felt like family.
Returning a replacement led shop light because it stopped working after a few days... I got a store credit and purchased another brand... Lets see how this one works out...
It is a bit of an open secret here that management at this location, and perhaps at other locations, utilizes a form of bossware designed to activate microphones in the store issued work phones. Certain managers will open a drop down menu, click on the name of the employees conversation they want to listen to, and youll see the manager with their phone to their ear but they never talk to anyone... because theyre listening.For those who work here, I invite you to look at your workphone the next time you are at work, the program is called airwatch and itll be in the list of open programs after you do a storewide page. Also using the walkie will do it. However, it will sometimes open entirely by itself in the background.The days I would see this open corresponded in with the days when Collins, Zach or Alonzo were here. I understand Alonzo was sent to a different location after an altercation where he threatened an employee. I am also given to understanding that a lot of good people lost their job when the store decided to retaliate against pro mask people starting back in March before the crisis was really over.Really lousy company generally, they took a huge dump on everyone who worked hard during COVID

Its like any other home depot. Its definitely cleaner then the one by my house. Stocking levels are always good.Finding an employee... Well its a 50/50 shot. Thats normal and expected however.
They rarely have carts or hand carts available... probably because the cart return system is disgraceful at this location and finding a knowledgeable employee is a rare find... if u do find an employee that has a bit of knowledge they don’t know where items are or if u find an employee who seems to know locations Of products then they don’t know hardware and send u on a goose chase for something u don’t need.
Staff have to be hunted down to get help finding stocked items. Stock is hit or miss meaning have to make several trips to different locations to find items. I wonder if corporate knows their stores are poorly managed.

Horrible experience after the order.. its been almost a month and no one knows what happened to the order. I spoke with at least 11 person from customer services, no one was able to solve the problem. Order number is WJ31853352.They even issued a case, but no result. Is there any manager in charge of the Montgomeryville Home Depot????? Find and figure out what happened........ this way its ruining the Home Depot reputation.

All of the workers were so friendly, and were always there to help! From Christmas lights to wood, they’ll always have whatever you need. I’ve never had a bad experience here! I went for a dehumidifier and finally made my way to the right section. 2 gentlemen were there and helped me with everything. Tom and George (Ill be very mad if I got those names wrong) one an older gentleman and the other a young man BOTH of these men were EXCEPTIONALLY kind, considerate and professional. They truly set the standard for how customer service should be. The older gentleman made certain that I was taken care of at the register and walked me to checkout. I write reviews often and I am in a service industry, Im extremely particular about service I receive and calling it exemplary, these GENTLEMAN SHOULD BE GIVEN A RAISE for their wonderful service. I will now ONLY come back to this location. Thank you Tom and a George for making me feel like I mattered and tending to all my questions and needs, you truly are EXCEPTIONAL.To the Karen below complaining they dont wear masks, its NOT a law first off, secondly is difficult to breath and lift heavy things when wearing a MUZZLE. your review has NO relevancy as to the business. I personally do not wear a mask anywhere, its an infringement on our freedom as American and as long as you are an American we have that choice.
My usual go to place for home improvement and everything related. lately, though, it has been a little understocked and dingy looking. Masking and social distancing are required, appropriately.

I feel so sorry for the folks who have to work here... We were picking up rock salt today and caught the end of an employee being chewed out who has a disability. Not only was it clearly not the employee in questions fault, but the fact this conversation was happening out in the open in the middle of the store and that the victim had a hat identifying him as a Vietnam War vet really sent me through the roof. Collins and Darien should not be managers anymore, period.
I had excellent service, there plenty sales people for their customers get to service. I had two helping me, so I could be in/out of the store, because of the Virus. Home depot A +.

My wife and I went into Home Depot to look for Granite Countertops and had an appointment with Maria in that dept at 1:30pm on Sunday 3/7/2021, and boy not a person a company would want to deal with customers. instead of selling the product you sell and going over all different kinds of countertop options Home Depot sells and explaining the difference, features, and benefits, she greeted us with a “you’re here real early” and sat us down to sell us on price. Keep in mind this was the first time shopping for countertops and we didn’t know much. After sitting there in complete silence for 40 minutes all she did was work up ONE price on one countertop. To get there, she left her desk multiple times without saying a word while we sat there waiting for her to do whatever she was doing going back and forth, and hoping to get a sales pitch or give us her opinion or something, anything! We got nothing and left frustrated not knowing how the process works nor a price, nor how to go about buying a countertop. Terrible customer service! I’ve been in sales for over 20 years and sitting there not getting any info and telling us to have a seat when we first meet you is off putting. If you want to sell customers thousands of dollars worth of product find someone who is good with people, cares about their customers and educates them about the product and process, not anyone who tells you to sit down, just taps on a keyboard and ignores the customer and just gives a price without any information what it includes, showing pictures or providing anything but a number. In the end we just got up and left went to Lowe’s and purchased a countertop there.
This is one of the most helpful Home Depot locations we’ve ever been to. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly; they really make you feel like family here. Highly recommend!

After dealing with the miserable excuse for a store at my local HD, I chose to come all the way out to this one for my tool rental. Im glad I did, because their customer service went above and beyond. The day after I returned my rental, Brian called me up to let me know I had dropped my car registration in the store. It must have fell out of my wallet when I handed over my drivers license.This means that he not only found it, he must have taken the time to look through the paperwork from the previous day to figure out how to contact me. The people at my local location, if they had found it at all, probably would have used it to commit some kind of insurance fraud in my name or something.Other employees walking around the store were super helpful, and the place is huge. 10/10

Going here to simply get paint, hasnt been a pleasant experience EVER. The last time visiting this store there was 1 gentleman in the paint area who seemed always miserable, annoyed, frustrated that customers exist. I was very upset when spending a couple hundred dollars on needed home items how ill mannered the employee is. Why is there only 1 person at the paint department??????? Theres multiples in other departments. Just really overall upset with the customer service of paint department. Also whats with the strictly self checkout at this location. Especially when you have ALOT of items and large ones at that. Made for an irritating trip overall

Friendly and helpful staff. I think they have done a good job with their safety policies since the pandemic started. I have gone there several times to work on various home projects. Ive both shopped in-store as well completed online orders for pick-up at the Customer Service desk.The Home Depot app is extremely helpful to add your items in your shopping list and get a map out of where they are located when you are in the store. Very satisfied with my shopping experiences here so far.

The OLD BAIT and SWITCH.Home Depot claims to offer rebates for large credit purchases from their corporation. Truth is.....if THEY cant fill your order from one store you will have to drive to many stores to fill your order. Oh, and by the way after you have wasted all that time and money getting your order filled, ALL those purchases are treated as separate transactions even though they were originated at the same time. No large purchase. No rebate. Nice BAIT AND SWITCH Home Depot. Taking my business to the competition. Keep up the shady advertising. It will only deliver more dissatisfied customers in the end. Cant wait to watch them chain your doors shut!!!
Everything was great till we got to the checkout... I bought my sons who are grown drinks...he rang up the drinks...I handed one to my white son...no comment...I handed one to my black Son and he commented and told my black son not to touch anything until he was done ringing it up.....SERIOUSLY...things were fine when I touched them and sent them down. My Black son is a former home Depot employee and does things the way he was trained.
I have never seen merchandise so locked up.The store is in a really nice area too.

Im giving 4 stars for one reason . The cashier attendant needs more training I would say . I got exactly what I wanted . The item was $ 100 and with 2 $ 50 dollar Gift cards it should have been a cut and dry checkout process but not tonight . The attendant added in the price of the Gift cards and my total came out to over $ 200 dollars and then she asks me if that sounds right .... Seriously ???

Many of the employees are not wearing the masks correctly OR at all. The masks go over the nose and mouth. Not on the chin. One of the ladies in return had it on her chin. Really? The employees who are not wearing masks have no respect for themselves, other employees or the customers. The masks are to protect others from them. It is just wrong and I am thoroughly frustrated. COVID is real and quite frankly, a horrible way to die.
Always a great experience. No matter what I am trying to find someone is always willing and able to help me out.The current Milwaukee rep is the best. No matter what product you are interested in every question or concern is addressed.The PRO Desk here is truly in a league of its own. I have been to almost 100 different Home Depots and these guys here are #1.This is the only Depot I recommend.

If management or corporate reads these reviews I highly recommend that the cashier Nicole who was working around 3:30pm be commended or given a raise(preferably both!) for her handling of a situation that was beyond her control. She was the only cashier available and was doing her absolute best to take care of all the customers waiting between self checkout and manual. Amidst customers rude remarks she kept her composure and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. Hats off to her!

A very large and well-stocked Home Depot. their pricing is average and they had plenty of registers going as well as self-service registers. a very large parking lot with quite a few handicap parking spots in front, clean store, clean restrooms, clean parking lot.

I went to Home Depot in Montgomeryville Pa store number 4104 last night to Christmas shop for the Black Friday Deals for my son who recently started a job as a carpenters apprentice.When I put the cash ($220.00) in the machine to pay for my items,The machine locked up and would not give me my cash back. I was treated by management as if I was trying to scam them out of money. I walked out of the store with no gifts and $220.00 in the hole. This was the most humiliating experience I have ever had in a retail store.I am done with Home Depot. I will be Shopping at Lowes and Amazon for my home projects and gifts.

Honestly, it was a normal shopping excursion. Prior to Covid-19. Everyone did wear mask, there were employees counting in and out activities. One line;person directing to cashier available. Cashier behind plexiglass (best Ive seen as far as construction goes)Customers not really doing social distancing only on line.
