Just happened now. It is their right to refuse a job I guess. But it was hilarious how this happened. I own a Honda Pilot 2005 and need to replaced my main engine seal. As I’m explaining this over the phone I was questioned as to how I know this is what is wrong with my car. The minute I told him I’m a mechanic I know exactly what needs to be done. The conversation turned to “ oh we are not interested in doing that kind of work” and the employee hanged the phone on me. I gave this place one star but truly meant to give it no star. Lol, this place is funnyI would caution anyone who things to take their vehicle here and if u do don’t let them know u know anything about cars . I have a feeling they are not into fixing cars but taking advantage of people. Then again this was my experience maybe u have better luck. Doubt it !!!!

Very nice guys. Brought my VW in last fall for an emergency repair on its coolant system. Roth even diagnosed which hoses and pump were the problem for me free of charge and let me keep my car at the shop for a while until I could arrange a tow, which was a major help in that tough situation. At home I chose to do the fix myself to save money and learn more about how to do the repair.

George Roth and his staff are the best! They are the only people that I trust to service my Audi and Mercedes. What I like most about this business is that they do not up-sell me on repairs that my cars do not need. They also take the time to call me and explain what repairs my car needs. Ive been trusting all of my families vehicles with George for over twenty years. He is an absolute Audi / VW genius but can fix anything. Hell fix it properly too. I am so glad I was introduced to him so many years ago. You wont find a nicer, more trustworthy mechanic anywhere. I moved to Bethlehem a few years back but still drive down to Lansdale for service. Its worth the drive. Dont bother trying to find a better mechanic.

I was at ROTH AUTO some two months back to get repair of my Engine Light ON. My AUDI car was repaired and returned back in two days at a very reasonable cost. I appreciate the work, in time and cost.

After analyzing your cars particular situation, George explains it to you in terms you can understand and gives you repair alternatives at different prices, so you know exactly what youre getting for your dollar. Roths is a small shop in comparison to Firestone or Midas or even your local dealer; its great reputation keeps it busy weekdays and weekends. It doesnt need your business, so it neednt trick you into leaving your car in return for extortion when you get it back. Youll have to wait an extra day or two for Georges service, but consider the wait analogous to the line at a popular restaurant or movie: If it werent worthwhile, it probably wouldnt be popular. Dont even think about leaving your car anywhere else if you live within five or ten miles of downtown Lansdale, but call for an estimate and appointment before you come.
