Its not a bad spot. However you can tell that the staff are over worked and under paid. A simple order of a dozen bagels was missing two, which I can only attribute to the employees being too stressed and overworked. Heres hoping the staff get paid better and they are able to hire more folks.

Food was very tasty and reasonably quick. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only reason for a 4 vs 5 star rating is that pretty much every instruction in order was missed. My bagel sandwich offered toasted or not toasted; I chose toasted but it wasnt. My companions sandwich had both bacon and onion included and she requested they be left off ... but they were not. But, still a very tasty lunch. Ill definitely be back.

Place was quick. Bagel wasnt fully cut and was very chewy so that wasnt ideal. Coffee tasted bad too. Would only recommend if youre short on time.

While I can appreciate the staffing situation. I would encourage looking at other options for weekend volume. I disagree with deflection to digital ordering will address having an excess of 10 vehicles backed up into the parking lot. Note, there was a another person with me waiting at the side window and shared with me there digital order would not be ready for 45 minutes. No one would answer when either one of us pressed the ring button. We both turned to leave, and as I looked back, still no one came to window as we walked away. A simple how can we help you would have gone a long way in the moment. I wish you the best, I have no plan to return anytime soon.

Drove 3 hours from Long Island to a funeral, needed to get a quick bite. Figured we try this place, being from NY, we didn’t think it would be as good as our NY bagels. We were blown away, this place was amazing. Extremely courteous and extremely pleasant. And the bagels couldn’t have been any better. Definitely a must if your in the area. Can’t wait to stop there again. Keep up the great work!

Honestly the whole meal should just be free because it was disgusting! Coffee without sugar or caramel or ice isn’t Ice Coffee, cold and dry hash browns weren’t for today breakfast menu!! Yet I still got that! Disgusting food! And please organize your sandwiches better! I’m not trying to pick out a whole egg off my sandwich to find the bread!!! 3 orders, all wrong. Ill stick to Montgomeryville where they get orders correct and are not staffed by teenagers on their phones. At Montgomeryville, the cashier takes your order on a post it note. Not as high tech as this locations kiosks, but somehow it works better.

I am and will continue to be a regular here, I love the food and drinks. The customer service is great and fairly quick, the portions and options of food and drinks are fair priced. Definitely recommend!

Never even got a chance to order bc you can’t order from a human, despite many humans working inside. I wanted a BLT with cream cheese instead of mayo, but customization isn’t possible on the machines. i was told to order on the machine. then essentially order again with the girl behind the counter. who stood leaning against the counter with her back facing me for an uncomfortably long time. guess i’ll keep driving down to the one in montgomeryville.edit: popping some more stars on there to say thanks for the reply from manhattan bagel- it’s good to see businesses caring about their reviews. there was a much sassier response initially that was deleted but i didn’t get to it in time 😁 which was a bummer lol. i’ll give the kiosks another try, and look for that cream cheese option. love you guys at the end of the day; you were actually my first employment a million years ago in harleysville.

No. Don’t go here. Just don’t. This is my second scathing review in the last two years Becuase this place CANNOT get it together. I stop by around 10:50 this morning to grab a bagel and a coffee. I waited for 25 minutes before I had anything in my hand. The drive thru was wrapped around the building Becuase the doors were locked despite no information saying that. I noticed a sign saying they had been closed for training. Heres an idea, train your staff on how to manage a long line and keep it going. On no planet should I be waiting 25 minutes for a bagel. Then to have the employees clearly just taking their time, it was a lot to take in. A lot of bulls*it to take in.

The dining area is closed for training so had to order through the drive-thru and even though I repeated my order twice, they still got it wrong...a complete waste of time and money.The number that was supplied for the refund is out of service.

I love the Manhattan Bagel shop at Lansdale.When we moved into our new apartment in Lansdale we received a welcome letter from them offering a 13 bagel box with two cream tubes. This is a $19 dollar value pack.The bagels are delicious. There s lot of different flavors to choose from but the cheese and jalapeno is my favourite.They also offer, danish, coffee, lunch combos and smoothies.Definitely worth trying!

Eat in closed due to training. Looked inside and saw 4 people doing nothing. Went into the drive through and line didn’t move for 20 minutes. Horrible horrible service

Picked up a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich and a pastrami sandwich and drove 30 minutes back home. The pork roll, egg and cheese was correct but the pastrami sandwich was completely wrong. The signs advertise as pastrami, Swiss cheese and mustard on a rye bagel; we got pastrami, onions, an egg and cheddar cheese on a pretzel bagel. It was a disgusting combination, but too far out to return it.

This location thankfully has uber eats as their delivery service. Whenever ordered online, they do an excellent job getting everything correct. Love ordering their muffins, cut buttered and toasted. So yummy, sandwiches are fabulous and hashbrowns cant go wrong.

Happy Hour Coffee Deals from 3-5 pm is where its at, plus the bagel sandwiches are a great addition to a quick sit-down. Clean, modern, and has good seating.

As usual, the quality of the product and the service were stellar and expedient. Online ordering is a little tricky, though. The Manhattan Bagel app doesnt list the location and the Zuppler-powered online ordering site is a bit buggy.

First time shopping here and I am impressed by the large bagel variety and specials.We have ordered the Spanish omelette croissant (only half of it survived for a quick photo) and a Spanish bagel. Delicious!

I was shocked at how rude the lady who took my family’s order was. I think her name was Amy but I could be wrong, it was in the drive thru. My child placed her order and she snapped back at her and said “you know you could’ve said that to me in a much easier way next time order a plain bagel with cream cheese ok?.” In such a nasty tone. I ignored it and we went on to ordering. No other rude comments while ordering, just answering us in a very rude manner and tone. When we got to the drive thru window, it took a very long time to get our food witch is fine I didn’t really mind. When I asked for extra napkins, the same lady responds and goes “I don’t really understand why you would need extra napkins it’s 4 bagels it’s really not that messy” and closed the window. I was stunned. Dont bring your kids here!!! The food was okay and I do love Manhattan bagel in general, but the lady was incredibly rude and disrespectful to my children and family.

UPDATE: Manhattan Bagel reached out to me and is doing whatever they can to make this situation right. I appreciate them taking my concerns seriously, and will try Express Ordering again..Worst ordering experience ever! I was told the Express Lane ordering was fast and accurate. I ordered at 10:26. I waited in my car, in the parking lot for 35 mins for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Never got a text it was ready. I finally called the restaurant and was told I had to come to the window and ring the bell. There is nothing anywhere that said that. The order on my phone continued to say confirmed. When I went to the window, the girl said tha maybe someone forgot to click that the order was done. I told the person on the phone, and the girl at the window that I was going to have a cold bagel. No one seemed to be concerned with my issue. I now have a cold bagel that I could have gotten hot from the drive thru in 5 mins. I had to microwave it when I got home. I could have gone to McDonalds for a better outcome. VERY UNHAPPY!!! By the way, I got the text that my order was ready AFTER I got home with my cold bagel.

Ive been going to this Manhatten Bagel everyday for over a year. I love the staff there. They are always friendly and welcoming. During COVID I think they have done a wonderful job considering all that they have to go through to keep up with the requirements.

Their whole staff are young children who do not know what they are doing. Awful food and workers hate their job. Overpriced drinks and food and manager is unprofessional.

Let’s just say that the drive thru experience was a pain. From pulling in to getting out.

Unfortunately this location just doesnt comprehend the order and either gives me honey whole wheat bagels or everything bagels.. even when attempting to clarify last 2 times, guess Ill avoid drive through next time.

All around love this place! Live music some saturday mornings. Nice varied menu, fresh fare, great coffee. Soup when it is cold out. Prices are reasonable, considering they are well staffed, and provide prompt, professional and friendly service.

Uneducated responses. The lady on Saturday Nov 28, 2020 at 7:50 am EST took my order in a rude manner as if she hated her job and ‘questioned’ me on my order. Her tone was disrespectful. When I pulled up, the lady who gave me the food was nice, but the older lady who took the order, body language seemed as if she hated her job. Had her arms crossed and stood there looking at the ceiling. If you have people not passionate about their job, why are they there? Enough people who will work harder than the mediocre you have. Btw I didn’t get a receipt either- do I need to ask for that too?

I love the bagels and dont mind paying what they charge....but the employee at the window wasnt very friendly and seemed annoyed when I asked if it would be ok to add an extra bagel to my order.

The service is incredibly slow. There were more workers than customers and they still took over 5 minutes to take a drink order which involves handing the customer an empty cup. After waiting over 5 minutes ( only person in line) to be handed an empty cup for a beverage that was over $2. It was underwhelming. Of the 3 orders 2 had issues and none of us ended up having food at the same time. The fireplace was pretty. The staff was polite. The food was good.

This building has been a lot of things in the last 10 years and its great to see an established brand here now. Ive done lunch several times and always enjoy it. Comfortable area to sit and work while you eat.

Delicious, fresh bagels with (mostly) friendly staff. I do wish they would educate their employees on sanitation and cross contamination. The use of gloves is wonderful but you need to change them if you touch your face, fix your hair.. etc

I just had a terrible experience in the drive through. I waited 10 min at the window for two sandwiches. While waiting, of the three girls running the drive through, two were sitting on the floor by the register playing on their cell phones. The third girl came to the window with one of my sandwiches and wanted to hand it out to me. I told her there are two sandwiches to my order and that I would like them to be in one bag. As she was waiting on the second sandwich she too ended up on the floor to play with her friends on the cell phones. I finally got my order and before I left I gave them a brief lecture on how if they paid more attention to what they were supposed to be doing rather than playing on their cell phones they would get things right. I went on to say how unprofessional their actions were and that as I understood that this might be their first big girl job, their employers pay them to get things right. I wished them a good day and left. I will probably not be going back there as they cant seem to get good help. My coffee was luke warm and my sandwich was dry. Lets go people. Do the right things for the right reasons! Owners, please hire wisely. The success of your business lies in the hands of those you hire! So hire wisely!!! Maybe some classes in customer service would benefit them! I am to say the least very disappointed. I did have high hopes for the success of this place. :(

Great selection of bagels but price not so great. Do not recommend espresso drinks here. Better go to local coffee shop such as Backyard coffee co for great latte for almost same price or even Starbucks( even its my last chose).

Im not one to complain, but Ive had enough issues at this place that I felt it was time to leave a review. When its good, its good. I always get the same thing, ham, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. I live right next to this location so I go a lot. Ive experience a few service issues that I chock up to it being a new location (one time I waited at the drive thru for 5 mins and no one was asking for my order or even saying just a minute. I drove away without ordering anything. Another time when ordering inside, my order was completely forgotten and no one noticed that I was standing waiting for my order. I had to say something and they seemed so shocked that I was standing there waiting for my food that I had just ordered). A few times recently, my bagel will have 2 tiny slivers of ham on it, only on one half of the bagel. Then, today, the same thing happened, but the bagel was stale and something on the sandwich tasted like freezer burn. I literally spit it out of my mouth. This seems to happen mostly on the weekends, so Im not sure if its an issue with their weekend crew, but its happened consistently enough that something needs to change. I get that its just bagels and its not that serious, but if Im going to spend money on food, I expect for it to be decent at the very least.

A great replacement for the 2 coffee shops that tried before. Expanded to the entire building, added more options on the menu, and in my opinion better cooffe...and I liked the last 2 places coffee.

Had a delicious bagel and a yummy dark chocolate muffin and mini cookies with my mocha latte. Lemon bread was delicious too.Friendly service added to the positive vibe. Theres also a little fireplace for those who want to dine in.Everything Bagel is a little too salty for my taste and the bagel with the lox did not agree with me.Takeout or drive-through customers: Make sure that you get a receipt and check your order thoroughly before you leave.

Average bagel...the cream cheese was a little too sweet for me. I think the bagel would be better for a sandwich. Tough to compare when there is an excellent bagel shop only a few minutes away.

The coffee was good, I tried the Winter Blend with the Cinnamon. My Everything Bagel was good but could have been toasted a bit more.

As a new move to the area they offer us free dozen bagels. They owner has excellent friendly manners among with the other stuff, (he literally made my day by welcoming to the neighborhood). Atmosphere is excellent for family or young crowd.

Very tasty!The employees seemed a bit unorganized, but everything worked out in the end. My onion bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese was VERY tasty as I said a d came out in good time despite being behind some larger orders.

My experience at Manhattan bagel was terrible. We ordered two drinks during happy hour (which prices are half off) and they charged full price. And when we asked about it they couldn’t figure out how to do a refund. And on top of that it took 20 minutes to get two drink with no other customers in the store. When we finally got our drinks mine was gross and wasn’t right.

We really wanted to love this place. We were so excited that Manhattan Bagel was coming to Lansdale. We have been here three times and each time has been horrible. We kept going back in hopes that our bad experience was a fluke. The first time we had to wait over 35 minutes for our order. This last time our eggs were GREEN! No exaggeration! They remade both our orders but not once did anyone apologize. The place is run by very young kids (which I loved seeing at first). However, we have seen them throwing things at each other and messing around.

Employees don’t seem to know how to make coffee; past two visits I have asked for an iced coffee and received it hot. Also didn’t bother to ask if I wanted cream or sugar (like any coffee/breakfast shop does).

Went there to grab a coffee and they close at 2pm... why even open the store

The Lansdale PA Manhattan bagel is awesome. Plenty of room. Pleasant and professional service and of course delicious bagels and coffee. I will be back. Great atmosphere to sit back and journal. I look forward to my next visit.

So come here on a Saturday or Sunday morning and everything runs smoothly. Thats the only reason for any stars. On the weekend they get 5 stars. During the week they get 1 star. I tried to get lunch today (Monday, 1:30p) and the place was amazingly slow. I ordered 3 bagel sandwiches and a cheese steak. I was the only one waiting for food and it took over 15 minutes. That was bad enough, but I got all the way home home and noticed that they screwed up all 4 sandwiches. The biggest mistake was giving me a pastrami bagel sandwich instead of a cheese steak. I had to go back and wait another 10 minutes as the only customer. They had about 7 staff there and only person making food and in slow motion. A couple of times the cook left the grill to go in the back while cooking my food. At no time did any one apologize for the screw up or the wait. They should at least have offered me a free fountain soda while we waited, but nothing. I get that its probably a minimum wage job, and not anyones dream job, but even just a little bit of customer service would have been nice. Im sure Ill go back with my kids on the weekend, but never again on a weekday afternoon.

It is way too difficult to just buy bagels here because you have to wait in line for anyone ahead of you ordering breakfast sandwiches or anything else. The bagels and food is great, service is good, but their payment register and pickup system is a bottleneck for everyone.

My first time in a Manhattan Bagel. This one opened several months ago and I will be back. The new pastrami and egg on pretzel roll sandwich is delicious.

This was my first time but was very impressed by the cleanliness and the kindness of the workers. My breakfast sandwich was very good and did not have a long wait time. Will be going back again.

It would be one star, except 25% of the time the order is correct and the food is good.Ive been given the absolute wrong orders most of the time. the best one was when I ordered my usual plain bagel, not toasted, with cream cheese (yes its always that simple) and I drove away with an everything bagel, toasted with pork roll and cheese. My vegetarian self tossed it in the trash and went to a local deli instead.The coffee drinks are typically horrible, just pay extra and go to starbucks.

Yesterday I had ordered some food here because I usually looked forward to chowing down on a bagel and a couple cookies but afterwards, I felt sickly all day and had vomited multiple times. Please have your employees properly sanitize things. I’m a little nervous to get anything here again...

The restaurant was very clean. The 2 women working where very nice. I was 8n at 6:30 in the morning and my order was still made wrong. I asked for a poppy seed bagel toasted with butter on the side. And I ended up with a bagel with butter on it. When I brought it to her attention, the server made a new one for me and told to keep the other one too. I will return, one mistake that early on the morning is bound to happen.

They make a mean egg sandwich, and will actually get the bagel really toasted if you ask for it. I love the everything bagels, it even has a little flake salt in the mix!

Poor service and drive thru food does not compare to other stores without drive thrus that actually make their food fresh.

The food is great but it can be pricey for what you get. The business is new and I unfortunately find a large margin for error from some of the staff. In two out of five visits I did not receive the correct order but the manager took care of it and apologize for the inconvenience.

I, like some of the other reviewers gave this place a few tries. But every time it just got more and more disappointing. One time our bagels were stale, another our breakfast sandwiches and hash browns were cold, and this final time we waited 25 minutes for the wrong order, and then another 10 for them to correct it. It’s a waste of time and money when there are other, better bagel places in the area.

Review edit 8/9: my husband went in and got two bagels to go this morning and there was a hair stuck in the cream cheese of my bagel. I know it was not mine as my hair is curly, blonde and short. This hair was long, dark and straight. Im disgusted at this point.I have been incredibly disappointed with the food since opening. The bagels taste great, thats not an issue. The issue is our order is pretty much never right for take out. My husband went in an ordered a toasted everything with cream cheese this morning 8/4/19. He got home and when I took a bite it was not toasted. This is not the first time we have asked for a bagel toasted and we get home and its not. There have also been countless issues with putting the wrong meat on the bagels, not getting specified cheese that was asked for. The meat isnt fresh tasting. It tastes like it was microwaved and has that texture too. It seems quality isnt whats important here, getting the food out as fast as possible is. I honestly thought the first few weeks had hiccups just because its new, however 4 months later and the issues continue. Not being able to call in an order for those who dont get a long lunch is disappointing.

Walked in and there was no line. Walked up to the counter where it says ORDER HERE. Looked at the bagel options for a minute, then stood at the counter for 5 mintues. During that time none of the 5+ employees behind the counter acknowledged me. One made eye contact with me, and continued walking past the register. There were also employee beverages on the shelf just above the sandwich line. Will not return.

Which on the poster has orange juice for $5.99. when I get to the register I ask if oj is included and she says no. So I ask why $5.99 on poster but only $5.49 if sandwich only. She just looks at me and the long line behind me but then is interrupted by a girl telling me that the have no hash browns - which is part of my sandwich. I ask if there is a substitute and she says I can get another sandwich. I let it go at that point due to the 10 people in line behind me. I also want lemonade that the cashier needs to get and says she will get in a minute. So our food is ready but still not my drink so I have to ask again. The person with me the bagel was so hard it was hard to eat. Definitely not the best day here.

Went there twice now and customer service is really lacking. There seems to be plenty of people there working but seem to be doing more socializing thank working. Forgot 2 items of my order and had to stand there at the counter for 5 minutes before anybody would even come over and see what i needed. Bagels were good, croissants were hard and stale. Wont be going back. Maybe some chick filet people can come do some classes on how to treat customers.

The little short chunky Asian with tattoos at cashier counter is pretty rude. Never once looked up from her phone to aknowledge me and then gave me an attitude when I say hello.. .. other than that the cooks can make a pretty good meal. Good coffee too.If you are going to hire a trashy person please put them as a cook and not customer interaction. Just my 2 cents. Thanks.

Excellent! The best addition to Lansdale in ages. The staff is super friendly and efficient, especially Nick who coordinates the drive thru and keeps all of us commuters happy. The food is delicious, great selection, and always fresh. Im so happy this place opened on my drive to work!!
