Jen, Chris, Abby, Brianna & Payton were absolutely wonderful. I had never been before and brought my best friend for her birthday. We brought a bottle of wine and pita and hummus and it was just the PERFECT experience. Such a loving and welcoming environment and fantastic for ALL ages and genders. This place is amazing! We traveled almost two hours to bring our mom here for mother’s day and it was well worth the drive. The staff is so friendly and accommodating to someone in a mobility scooter. The scents are phenomenal and the prices are very reasonable. They even allowed us to bring our family pet. If you are looking for a relaxing, easy going place to make some scents for your home and personal care, this is the place to go!

We had SO much fun. The owner, Jen, is wonderful! She was so patient with us taking our time smelling all the scents and the experience was unlike anything we have done before. Fantastic experience! We didnt really know what to expect when we arrived to kick off my sisters bachelorette, but S&S far exceeded expectations. It was a really unique experience, and we all took home something well actually use and enjoy. Will certainly return.

This is a hidden gem, if you love candles and love making your own scent this is the place to be. The hostess was extremely nice, helped us to figure out the combination of scents for our candle. There are so many to choose from!

Joanna and Sean are great host. I surprised my fiancee coming out to Scent and Sip after finding a deal on Groupon. I never knew something like this existed. It was a calm and fun experience to create your own unique scents. We made a candle each and I created my own beard oil while she made a body spray. We were told they have a party room in the back which isnt any additional money. All you need is a reservation. We went on a Tuesday afternoon. The parking was free between lunch time 12-12pm. Oh and dont forget to have a drink while you smell all the different scents. BYOB

This experience is like painting with a twist, but with making candles (or anything scented) instead of painting. Personally I prefer Scent and Sip, because you can take home a nice sized candle between $16-36 that you can enjoy at home (as opposed to taking home another canvas and trying to find a free wall to hang it on). First of all, the entire experience is super fun, relaxing and easy!!! (Youre not worried about drawing straight lines and you can enjoy your friends and your byob)PLACE & AMBIENCE‐ there currently is only one location, located in Landsdale (with future plans for growth). 7 of us came in on a Saturday, early evening in September fo celebrate a friends birthday- we did public seating, not private. The storefront is located in the middle of Main street, and when you walk into the open space, youll be greeted with tasteful seasonal decor and the delightful fragrances throughout the store. (The smell is not as overpowering as one might experience at bath and body works). The employees had already set up our seats. Very spacious, not cramped- employees looked eager to help and were very kind and knowledgeable. Bonus+ they have a fantastic bathroom with all the soaps, cream and moisturizers you need AND a changing table and diapers and feminine products available for your use!PEOPLE- the staff, all of them, were all so personable and knowledgable. The act of choosing the right scents and even naming your new product could be overwhelming but the staff was able to kindly guide us along. For example, I decided to make a candle with 2 scents and the staff was so helpful to offer a 3rd complimentary scent which was perfect! They also helped us to take group photos!VALUE FOR MONEY- definitely would recommend this. Support small businesses!!

We had a really great time all of the staff are awesome theyre very helpful and friendly. I am definitely considering having a party here in the next few months. Having a chance to mix your own scent for candles, spray, bubble bath and so much more was fun. We really enjoyed ourselves.

This place is awesome! We were playing phone tag with getting me an appointment to reup on my essential oils I use to infuse my hot towels. (Mix is created by the scent masters them selves, amazing!) I was frustrated and messaged them, Next thing I know the mix is hand delivered to my door. Now that’s above and beyond! Thanks Scent & Sip you guys rock!

Dont bother coming here if your party is not large. They will most likely turn you away! The workers are also not very friendly. The candles have a very faint smell and my Marshall candles smell better than them!

We had a Bachelorette party here and everyone cannot stop talking about the fun they had! We were able to bring in a ton of food, drinks, and decorations. The gentleman assigned to work with us had everyone laughing and is PERFECT for the job. All of the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. They worked with us when we had a delay and allowed us to enjoy our time and not feel rushed. The foaming hand soap and lotion package we got was perfect and some ladies even made additional items. We had so much fun and everyone from the Mother of the Groom, sisters and sister in laws, and friends have texted and said how much fun it was and that they cant wait to be back. Scent and Sip is one of a kind!

The experience was good but I am so disappointed with how my candles arrived. I made 4 candles and had them delivered to my home. All 4 candles arrived COVERED in oil. I had to wipe them all down with paper towels. The tops of them are not dry... think Ill need to use a blow dryer. NOT worth the money I spent on these small candles. Would love to receive some of my money back...

Great place and very creative. I do not advise making a candle though. I had mine mailed and when the candle arrived the wick was gone. When I finally found it, it was super short. I thought no biggie until I lit it. The wick burned so fast and the wax melted fast as well...not worth the experience for the price. Everything else made was great.

Super fun way to spend a girls night! Staff is really friendly and not only is it BYOB, buy you can bring food as well. Scent possibilities are almost endless - enough of a variety to please everyone! This is an individual business and not a chain, so get out and support local small business! Horrible customer service. Wanted to bring a group of 8+ people via Groupon and they weren’t accommodating at all. ( yes I read the fine print of the Groupon and understood terms ) basically they are not a customer oriented business and are very stuck up and rude. At this point I wish I could just get my money back and erase the experience .... and I didn’t even get to go into do it yet !!! I wouldn’t recommend even to my enemy’s.

Some friends and I got together to try it.. had a great time, brought some wine, fruit and cheese since the place was BYOB, but with all going on it kinda ended up being in the way. We booked a 90 minute session, but that felt a bit rushed since there are so many scents to choose from. Landed on some great blends and made a diffuser and a body oil. Admittedly, we were a bit late (parking is horrendous).. but overall Id do it again!

Second time here and I love it. Bring your girlfriend or boyfriend something for everyone.

Enjoyed making candles at Scent & Sip. As youd imagine, its very smelly due to all the scents, so I wouldnt recommend to anyone sensitive to fragrance. The shop was clean and well organized. Lots of options for products and scents. I paid $21 for my candle which is more than Id ever spend normally, but the quality of their products and the experience makes it worth it. Staff were friendly and patient while we browsed. The bathrooms were also very nice with product samples and toiletries if needed. Cant wait to come back!

Where can I really start! I came here for the first time for my birthday and from the time I hit the door they were welcoming and helpful! The instructions were clear and concise and they have DO MANY fragrances to choose from. You can make so many things: candles, perfumes, mist, shampoo, event pet spray! The staff here are PHENOMENAL! Each and every person treats you with care! They are consistent in their instruction from each employee (which I appreciate!).

Fun project and concept but was disappointed that I called to see if they had space for my kids and I, we showed up 30 min later and they said they were booked. Place was empty and I nicely said I had just called so I got an eye roll and they seated us but didnt pay us much attention or provide much direction at first. It was a bit odd especially considering it was me and two young kids. No idea what was going on there but thought they could have been much more welcoming and instructive given the nature of the business

Tonight was my second time at the Lansdale scent and sip. The first time I brought my boyfriend, who at first was very reluctant to join me. He ended up spending the full 2 hours sniffing the wall of scents and made 2 candles!! He loved it. I was also very overwhelmed of how fun this experience truly was! I brought my sister tonight and she loved the Harry Potter ans fall scents. Everyone is so nice and its honestly very relaxing. Its very inexpensive as well. My new favorite thing to do!

I really enjoyed this place. I made two candles. They have so many options to choose from. I plan to go back and possibly do some holiday candles or for my upcoming birthday. Its a cute date night and girls night.

I took my 9 year old her for her birthday with another 9 year old friend. We had such a wonderful time smelling the many scents and making our own things. We made Glitter Gel which feels amazing on your skin, lotion and candles. We also enjoyed trying all the different things you can make! It was well worth it. We will come again and make some scrubs and sprays. So many fun things to try!! ;)

Went to scent and sip yesterday with friends celebrating a birthday. The staff was VERY kind, accommodating, and super friendly. It’s small family run business and the owner herself was super kind and friendly, we laughed together the whole time. That alone was worth the visit, not to mention the products were well priced and easy to make. Ended up buying 3 and getting 1 free. Would definitely recommend!

I went to purchase unique gifts for my family for Christmas. You will not be disappointed! This was a really neat experience and my family loved the handmade gifts. The price was up there I suppose but these are handmade gifts- not your regular Yankee candle. The person helping me was named Zoe I believe. She was awesome and the staff appeared very knowledgeable about what they recommended.

This place is amazing! The staff makes you feel right at home.We had a groupon but ended up purchasing more. The prices are very reasonable. Not only did they allow us to experience custom candle making from start to finish but we made our own custom body scrubs too! We will be back!

This was my first time at Scent and Sip and I was very impressed. Jen, the owner, and her mother were sweet, warm, and genuinly care about each of their guests, making them feel like they’re visitors in their own home. I took a candle making class with a few girlfriends, we were able to sip wine, laugh, and chat the whole time without feeling rushed. We love how our candles turned out and will certainly be coming back!

First time visiting with a friend and it was absolutely sensory overload at first. We had so many scents we liked but no idea how to put them together/into products. They helped us narrow down our options, make some great combo choices, and mix up out items. Great quality stuff and a wonderful experience. A small, minimalist gift shop that seems like it would be a great place to get a gift card to. Definitely something that might show up on a group deal every so often, prompting you to think, Did I buy my mother her gift yet? Maybe I should look into this place. They provide harmless fun and a candle to boot!

This is a wonderful girls night out, but a bit overwhelming for first timers. There is a deal where you can get 4 products for the price of 3, but I dont feel that 1.5 hours is enough time to create different scents for that many products. Especially if you BYOB. I lucked out because we went on non-busy night, and even then felt that the sales people were pushing me to start making my products when I wasnt ready. I wouldnt have this issue if I went back, so I recommend first timers start with a goal of a single product.

This year for Christmas everyone is focusing on experiential gifts instead of more clutter for the house so myself and my 2 sisters in law took my mother in law here for her xmas gift. We gave her a gift card and had an amazing time. The wall of scents was semi overwhelming but it definitely allowed me to smell things I hadnt before. Some of us byobd and it was so fun. Multiple staff members helped us even though they were super busy and we even had fun conversation with the owners towards the end. This concept is so cool and the perfect moms escape from the holiday crazy. I cant recommend it more and will be back.

Absolutely the best place to go for a night out with your girl friends! (Even your boyfriend will enjoy this place). Im addicted. Ive made candles, body sugar sugar scrubs, bubble bath soap, and hand sanitizer! I always get so many compliments on how great they all smell.

My friends and I went to Scent and Sip earlier this month. We had a great time and experience it’s what happened AFTER is why I’ll never be giving them my services again. Twenty minutes before leaving, the gentleman that worked there told me he accidentally broke my candle while preparing it but I was able to make a new one. I did and was happy with the results but wasn’t able to take it home with me. I called the following day to see if they’d be able to ship it since I don’t live locally and they’d agreed. A week and a half after speaking to an employee there, I still hadn’t received my package. I contacted the owner on my own terms and explained the situation. She apologized and assured me that I’d immediately get a refund and my “broken” candle as well as the replacement candle would be shipped the following morning first thing. Fast forward to it being two weeks since we’d gone, still no refund, still no candles. I reached out to the owner again making her aware that I haven’t received a refund or my candles, immediately she refunded me and told me she’d be in touch with the post office and get back to me. It’s now been THREE weeks and I’ve yet again reached out to the owner asking about my candles and she’s now blaming it on the post office for “loosing” my package. I contacted the post office and they’d never received a shipment from Scent and Sip,she lied. Needless to say, I will not be bringing her any business again. If your candle breaks, do not plan on having the opportunity to have your replacement shipped out to you. Had I of known that I’d be walking out of there without a product and having my money refunded I would’ve never of went, what a headache!!
