This was my first time visiting Precious Metals in Lansdowne. I met the owner Bill, who was very nice and informative. I came out with a wealth of knowledge on precious metals. Transaction was fast and more than fair. I will be coming back here for now on to deal with precious metals. I also have an interest in old coins, which this place has an abundance of. I would recommend this place. The conversation I had with the owner on investing was worth the visit.

Offered 6% below spot for silver bars. If you are selling silver I’d go elsewhere. I sold silver bars from a reputable vendor ( think SD Bullion, Amex, etc) and was offered in the $24 range when the spot was $26.

Very friendly dealer, was greeted as soon as i came in. Has a good selection of just about everything. Has a lot of gold/silver bullion to pick through. We had a very good experience here selling some old silver. We found the owner to be straightforward and honest and he was happy to take the time to explain the valuation process. We have used this business twice and been happy each time.

Since Ive been collecting and I should add only Five yrs. wasnt sure what I had especially the 1794 flowing half. I also had a 1964 Morgan dollar, not a copy because any third-party minting company has to write copy on it somewhere. The 1794 turned out to be a little underweight and most likely not 90% silver lot less than that but he still said to hold on to it. Along with the 1964 wow was there I also purchased some fine coins bill. Not only will I continue to return to his place of business and purchase items from his place of business but he will be the only one I will associate with as far as respecting their answers on coins. That Im unsure with.

Dont do it. You might think that youre getting fair prices but my advice to you is go somewhere else and youll see the difference tried.My advice is let him price you and before you sell go somewhere else and see what they offer you. He tried to to offer me a minimal price which I knew wasnt right and when I try to leave the store he told me let him recheck it and then he told me that one of his Stones were off and he gave me a higher price which I still felt wasnt right since you just tried to jip me the first times So i went to another store fand found out he was jipping me for over $100. If you want to go somewhere honest.go to the small one on macdade and West Chester Pike next to Dunkin donuts. Their prices were awesomeit sits by itself in a little parking lot right on the corner

Precious Metals gets a A++++++ Yesterday I went to sell my gold and silver in the town I live in Springfield PA, Im out of work and I need as much as I can get to feed the family, the first place I went to sell my gold was Voskis Jewelers, I did NOT like the price the young looking girls gave me so I took my gold to Precious Metals in Lansdowne, Bill gave me $280. She laughed said glad u made it,then turned to my 8 year old daughter and started a conversation with her like they had been childhood friends that had not seen each other in 10/15 years,and the whole while Im engaged in conversation with Bill about buying Gold/Silver etc.Yet I had an ear on the two gabby gals,lol.See that is what you want from a local store owner/business, it shows me at least they care,needless to say they are so close to SPOT price its awesome!!
