If you are looking to purchase a new or Used vehicle and want an honest, respectful and trustworthy place to purchase from look no further. Robert Lucas took care of me and did an amazing job to answer all my questions. After being given the run around at other dealerships, Rob made sure my experience was hassle free and even picked me up from my place to test drive the vehicle I was interested in! He was kind, courteous, fast and knowledgeable and made the car buying process an easy and pleasant experience. I purchased my vehicle back in August and it is now November. Well, Jason, in service was amazing. He is always helpful and courteous. He makes it easier to have to deal with a situation. When I asked him a question, he told me what he thought, but immediately went to asked a certified technician to ensure that he was giving me correct information. There was another young man, Matt, who stepped in to assist me when Jason had stepped out. Matt took all necessary information and forwarded it to Jason. The next call I received was my part was in. Seamless customer service! Kudos, gentlemen!

I highly recommend buying your vehicle here! I purchased a used 2018 GMC Terrain and it is everything I hoped for. Blake was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They got me in within a short amount of time to test drive a vehicle and worked with me until I found the perfect SUV for me. I finished my paperwork for the GMC and it was delivered to my house 1 house later! Great service and a great selection of vehicles!

My experience with Roland and Cardell was immaculate!! From the time I walked in and Terrance connected us they made me feel like an individual and that my needs were more important than a sale. I was coached through the whole process, asked if I was certain with my decision and all. I came in Monday stressed completely out and left Friday in a new vehicle. Highly recommend.

LaFontaine Buick GMC of LansingSep 23, 2021who Not customer friendly!! We have been trying for a month...Not customer friendly!! We have been trying for a month to contact our sales rep and the General Manager about our leased car that we received from them. No one has responded!!! We keep getting mail about setting up a time to turn our car in, yet no one bothers to return our calls to do so!! We also tried calling any salesperson and no one even answered the phone. Very aggravating and disappointed. Did not have this problem when it was the Glen Buege Dealership!! We have been loyal GMC customers for many years and have never been treated so poorly. Thinking about switching to Ford. We are going to contact a news station to see if they can help us. Hopefully this will be on the 6 or 10 oclock news. I would advise everyone else to do the same if they are having issues.

Had the oil changed on my 2020 GMC lease. My wife said something was leaking which I figured was just from my AC. I pulled the truck out of my garage and found a nice size oil stain. Of course on my frehly cleaned garage floor. Took the truck back and they found the filter was not tightened. They offered free oil changes and to scrub my garage floor. I told them I didnt want freebies just good work. Ill be going elsewhere from now on. Not the first problem Ive had there,

We used Daniel as a sales person, 19-year-old young man that done an absolute excellent job in our opinion, we were really taken in by him and his professionalism, he may have a couple small things to work on, but I believe he will get there, he was very attentive to our needs and for a guy of his age done an outstanding job, older people in my opinion deserve respect and I felt like Daniel gave us that. Just a couple things, when you say thank you the response back should be you are welcome, not no problem, and we should always be addressed as Mr. and Mrs. older people like, that., but I believe Daniel done an outstanding job, as far as the vehicle time will tell

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! I just had my first experience with LaFontaine Buick GMC in Lansing. My salesman, Blake Garner, was great with his communication and style. He took the time to thoroughly explain all the features in the truck and made sure I fully understood everything.As I sat, waiting for the truck to be delivered, I watched closely many of the other sales people on the floor and observed the same. At first it wasn’t good. My daughter and I approached a young man his name is Evan. We told him I was interested in buying a Buick Encore. He then gets the car and shows me the trunk. My daughter had to tell me about the car. We come back and told him I wanted to buy this car. When I asked who do I make the check out to he laughed and said check what’s that. We set an appointment for the next day which was Wednesday between 11am-noon. I was so ecstatic I cried happy tears. Then we leave the dealership only been gone for 3mins my daughter gets a call from him asking if we can reschedule for Thursday, she explained how bummed I was and that I really didn’t want to wait another day and he said he could NOT do it Wednesday it had to be Thursday. So we agreed. Then the manager called us Wednesday morning asking when we were coming in my daughter explained the situation to him his name is Kevin he went above and beyond and said no we can sell the car to you today. My daughter said “I don’t get it why on earth would you make money wait” thank god for Kevin saving the day and he had a different salesman help us Aaron who went above and beyond for me. So my at first horrible experience was saved by Kevin and Aaron! Thanks to them I’m a proud owner of a 2021 Buick Encore.

It started with Nicole - she was kind, informative and very responsive to our initial questions. Then there was Blake who was amazing! This was my first time leasing a brand new car. He treated us with respect and kindness. He searched for the perfect vehicle and he nailed it. He made sure that by the end of the day we would be driving home a new car. He even went so far as to help with cleaning the car after it was transported from another dealership. The guy was amazing. We absolutely loved our experience. Rob asked us what we absolutely needed in a vehicle and he delivered. The first one he showed us was what we wanted and was lower in price then we were expecting. Rob even gave us advice on what we should do as far as our situation and whether we should lease and then purchase if we were happy with the vehicle or if we should purchase the vehicle. I would highly recommend him. We will definitely be back to see him. The whole Used Sales staff was excellent as well as the finance staff.

Be careful…. I found a car that I wanted and they scheduled me an appointment right away. I jumped in the car and drove 2.5 hours and the car that I wanted wasn’t even there. I lost time off work, gas, and nearly 5 hours of drive time total for absolutely nothing. In no way did Kevin Rule try to compensate. They only tried to sell me cars that I didn’t want. They blamed the whole error on a scheduler named “Nancy”. If you make an appointment with this dealership make them physically verify that the car is there in the lot or if it even exists. Poor leadership.

Made an appointment to look at a used car. Sales person was not available when I arrived. Thats ok, any sales person can help me. Tell the new sales person which car I came in for and he says let me go see where it is at. 10-15 minutes later he and the used car manager comes over and tells me the car isnt here. Its at another location. They ask if I want them to get it and I say yes. I can come back in a couple days or in a week. They say they will call me. Next day the person who made the appt contacts me to see how it went. I inform her it was bad and explain the situation. She says she will check on what happened and one of them will contact me. 1 week later and no one has contacted me. I will probably never buy any vehicle from them. I miss the old dealership.

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, my spouse had a horrible experience bringing my vehicle in for service. I always schedule my oil changes to make life convenient and it was not. He showed up early for the appointment and still waited over an hour for a simple oil change appointment. As a consistent GM lease person, I am personally unsettled by the way this was handled. He had to ask multiple times about what was going on and for some type of compensation for his time and was only given $10 off service. We have never received this type of service as lease customers and probably will not be back to this location because of it.I sent this to Andrew, a service manager at this location and never received a follow up either.

Horrible experience (on two separate occasions) with service department, They were rude and the second time, they did not provide the oil change I requested, despite leaving my car there for the entire day. In addition to the staff being condescending, It was extremely inconvenient to make arrangements for this and very frustrating as I ultimately did not end up getting the agreed upon oil change. I would not recommend their service to anyone.

My lease had 5 more payments. I received a call from the concierge asking me to set up a time to meet and start looking for a future lease. I went in to meet with Blake G. When I came in for my scheduled Oil change/tire rotation, Patrick informed me of the services my vehicle was due for. Although I couldnt afford all of them, we chose a few to complete on my visit and we saved others for my next visit to the dealership. I was so impressed when Patrick called me to let me know my vehicle was ready, he let me know that the alignment was perfect and didnt need to be adjusted, therefore, I wasnt going to be charged for that service since it didnt need to be done. That right there is reason enough to continue my relationship with Lafontaine. Please do not send your vehicle to this dealership for service! Your service is and will be horrible. I dropped off a new 2021 GMC Yukon Denali for service on a Thursday for two recalls and a manufacturers defect. The recalls were completed that very next day (Friday), however the manufacturers defect service part was scheduled out 3-5 days. This information had been communicated from the Service Rep on that FRIDAY. While we were provided a loaner vehicle (21 GMC Terrain) for the warranty service repairs, we were contacted on that following Monday regarding the service and was told that the vehicle was ready for pickup. Due to out of town travel for work, I told the service representative I would be back in town on Wednesday. He agreed and stated that will be okay if we dropped off the loaner that date. On Tuesday, we received a call from another service representative and he stated that he has been trying to contact my husband and was unable to get in contact with him and we MUST return the loaner on Tuesday, or else we will be charged and denied future services. He also mentioned that we were going to be banned from EVER receiving a loaner car, and we will be charged $25 per day for the loaner if it is not returned. In addition, I was told that were were unable to travel out of state with the loaner and the Service Rep accused us of traveling out of state into Ohio. I said, Sir, who told you we traveled out of state? and he said well that was a question you asked when you dropped off the Denali. I said, I was aware of the restriction per the contract language as it stated as no out of state travel in the loaner!; And please do not accuse us of traveling out of state. I then told the service rep that I was never going to get any car serviced EVER from LaFontaine. The Service rep stated that if we did not return the car as promised by Wednesday (due to the miscommunication from LaFontaine), the dealership will not allow us to be serviced or offered a loaner for any future services.Please DO NOT buy or get a car/truck serviced or anything from this dealership! TERRIBLE SERVICE and VERY BAD with communicating. We were treated like trash and not like customers and although we are grateful for the larger car loaner (Terrain), THIS VEHICLE WAS IN NO WAY A COMPARABLE VEHICLE TO A YUKON DENALI!!!! I forgot to mention, due to the pandemic (COVID), when we picked up the loaner the vehicle had not been sanitized nor cleaned out at all. We had to get a car wash as well as through food trash out of the loaner before we could even use the car.They need new management and new Service reps AND new guidelines for cleanliness on all returned loaner cars!

My car purchasing experience was good. However I just got my car late September. I barely drive it anywhere due to the pandemic and I work from home. I took my car in for normal scheduled maintenance mid-January. Besides needing new tires and an air filter I was told everything was fine. Two weeks later my check engine light comes on. We take it in again and now I all of sudden need a new catalytic converter that’s not covered under my warranty that I’m also paying for. The same thing happened with my husbands vehicle that he purchased from them a couple of years ago. Three months after getting the car his piston rings went out and then he had to get the transmission replaced not long after that. I should’ve learned then to not purchase from them. This is my 3rd used car and have never had these issues this soon after purchasing a vehicle.

The reason for the score is because when I drove into the service area, no one greeted me or even acknowledged my presence. The service writer person went back and forth across the service area, never even looked my way. I mean it took a couple of minutes before acted like he saw me.. When he finally came to see me, he says What do you need. No apology for the delay, no Welcome to LaFontaine.I used to be a District Service Manager for Oldsmobile division, and I know that I would not accept this kind of treatment for my customers.

I came in for an oil change and added a recommended tire rotation, When I pulled in a service person came out and said someone would be with me in a moment, then I was told by another service person to go over to the office where the order would be written up, I sat down at the young mans desk and he began so write up the work order I showed him my coupons which he took and I asked him about the complimentary car wash and i was told that there was no car wash there, and I questioned that. I was then told to go to the waiting room and I would be called when my car was ready, I got up to leave and went the wrong way out of the door and was told I was going the wrong way so I went the right way. The young man never got out of his chair to greet me or to point me in the right direction. When my car was ready a different young man came and got me said the other man had gone to lunch. We got to his office, he handed me the paper work and my key I asked if my car would be out side of the service center and he said Oh just look around and youll find it. I did. I felt something was missing from this service, am I being to critical or too old and fussy? If so I stand corrected but what happened to old time service like a -nice to have you, or we are glad to have taken care of your car, and have nice day and/or thanks for coming. Or just pointing me in the right direction, twice. Just wondering?
