Lovely, quaint and eclectic!!!!! Cheery and very Comfortable atmosphere!!!!! Very pleasant and accommodating staff!!! I am eager to return!!!! Enjoyed the White Mocha w/Almond Milk and two shots of Espresso!!!!!We sipped our warm drinks and relaxed into our conversations for a little over an hour!!!!! In no way were we rushed and hurried!!!!

Cozy coffee house... delicious drinks. We got black currant, black pepper coffee & matcha latte— both were really good & owner made it with just the right sweetness. Would have come sooner if I knew they existed.

I love the atmosphere of this shop. Every order that I get is delicious and on point. The staff is so nice and will make kind conversation with you. Its always a friendly face to welcome you. It is a great place to hang out with friends or just a drink on the way out. I make sure I go in anytime that I can. I sincerely love and recommend this place.

Such a sweet little coffee shop. With plenty of space, Troost also has a meeting spot and play space for kids. They sell beautiful locally made products. This on top of wonderfully made treats and coffee. The staff is wonderful as well! It’s a must visit!

This coffee shop is so cute and their coffee is delicious. The workers are very friendly and polite. They also sell artwork, wooden home decor and soap which I find neat . They also have quick bites to take on the go of you’re trying to rush to the office. Definitely a place you want to try out :)

Its a family run coffee shop. I ordered breakfast of biscuit and gravy and it was really good. Portions are a bit small though. They offer a decent selection of coffee and teas as well as smaller Food menu. Prices are on the high side and service is polite. I will go back the next time Im in the area.

The Dutch know their sweets & so does Troost! Great coffee at normal prices. The staff is incredibly friendly & make you want to come back for more! Plus they put up with my brother daily, so they have to be great people. 😉

Cute place! The staff seemed very comfortable and were easy to talk to. The food was pretty good, and the tea was yummy! All in all a good atmosphere. 9/10 would go again!

Actually I am not a coffee drinker but I’m curious about their Latte. One of the staff made a great recommendation and described the drink in full detail. – felt like I was at a wine tasting. :D lol. The best service I’ve had in the coffee shop. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s worth every penny for the good service and good coffee they served.

Troost is absolutely the coffee shop to go to in & around Lansing! Delicious drinks, welcoming atmosphere, and incredible people. A great spot to catch up on work or catch up with a friend. Be sure to try the Troosty, youll thank me later.

I go here every Wednesday and it does not fail to make my week so much easier, the atmosphere is friendly, the drinks and food are great, and they offer fun activities and games! Their London fog and lemon bars are my favorite!

Troost has good coffee and friendly service. My teenagers love going and talking to the staff. They even have something for my non-coffee drinker.

Ive been there twice and have been happy with both the drip coffee and cold brew. All the employees are nice and easy to talk with.A great place to stop by while bicycling -- the path is very near.

Finding Troost was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the coffee and breakfast sandwich very much. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. I will return.

If your looking for a place to grab a decent cup of coffee- sweet or otherwise- this is the spot in Lansing. Owner and staff are kind and informative. Friendly and accomodating atmosphere (they have a room for kids, a changing table in the bathroom and a private room for reservation). I cant say much for their tea because I havent tried it. However, if you like coffee and live in the area, Troost is worth a visit.

The customer service was great. I had a fun day there with my friends. Would totally recommend 🙂

Well-meaning if clumsily executed small city downtown coffee shop, with a little bit of everything vibe. About a dozen tables in three rooms, of various sizes. One of the rooms seems to only be for kids, and another can be reserved. Random decor: chalkboard surface on one wall, recycled wood on another. Office style dropped ceiling. Lots of local announcements and fliers. Some sort of light instrumental music on audio. Several outlets. Free wifi with posted password. Shelf of board games and books. Toilet seat broken in bathroom. Small menu of both lunch and breakfast things, but they werent serving lunch ones when I was there at lunch time, I think because the relevant people/equipment were at a local fall festival. Chai is rishi. Small selection of loose leaf teas presented for smelling in sad little bottles. They list London Fogs on menu, which I got, but they spontaneously put in sweetener.

It is a cute little place, I did not have the chance to order anything because was there for a meeting. But definitely will be back!!

Such a clean and friendly place. I love that they have a child play room. I wish all coffee shops had that optionWith that being said, Im just not a fan of their coffee drinks . The first one I had wasnt awful but their white chocolate mocha was not drinkable for me. I hate to waste coffee but i just couldnt stand the tasteI would maybe try this place again and try their tea because the service is great and my son loves playing here

Really small place. I had the chilaquiles (which were served in a small scorching hot clay/ceramic pot). I burned my mouth so bad. It was just a bad way to serve them, flat plate would have been way better. Coffee was okay.

So many delicious drinks and food options! I never have to wait long for my order. All of the baristas are awesome and are willing to recommend drinks. I come to Troost for a lot of business meetings but it has become a favorite place for social get-togethers too. :)

So far Ive had pour-over hot coffee and an iced coffee drink (a Frodo Trodo). Both were delicious.

I had a decaf berry tea and a turtle brownie. Both were delightful! The atmosphere was very welcoming!

It was a very fun place,you can come in with food from like dominoes and sit and eat.they have board games and games like connect four that you can play.workers are very nice and its a comfortable warm place.if you wanted to you can live there lol im playing but it looks like a home,they have rooms that kids can be in too

Gorgeous atmosphere, very kind staff, delicious drinks (fall drinks and hot and troosty are my favs), and the cinnamon rolls are to die for! Best of all they have a kid room so I can actually enjoy all these things while my 1, 4 and 6 year old are entertained!

My third time here, and this is now my favorite cafe. The staff is so friendly, and even only on my second visit the barista remembered I take decaf after i forgot to order it the first time around (pregnancy brain) they carry nothing but smiles, the environment is relaxing and peaceful enough to get work done, and they provide games in case you and your guests would like to hangout. The beverages are great, and truly handcrafted. Have yet to try the food, but thats next on the list! Gave it a 4 stars because one of the workers didnt seem to pleased behind the counter any of the times Ive been in there, not sure if her name🤷‍♀️ however, The mood changes when the other awesome baristas make their appearance!
