Stopped in here and had such an amazing experience! The owner Justin was so nice and knowledgeable.He made my boyfriend and I experience phenomenal! You have to try that tiramisu!

My husband and I are in town for a job interview. We saw the good reviews for this wine bar and it did not disappoint. The food is wonderful and it has a very nice wine selection. Justin, the owner, visited with us and told us about the area. He also shared that his mom makes the desserts. They are so good. You can’t pass up the tiramisu. We didn’t try the lasagna, but if we are back, I certainly will. This place is cozy and the perfect place to have dinner or just a glass of wine. Service is outstanding. Thank you Justin for a wonderful dinner experience. Hope to see you again soon.

Unfortunately I didnt take any photos of the food but it doesnt matter cuz everything I had yesterday was delicious. The escargots was fantastic the dates wrapped in bacon phenomenal. I didnt have anything to drink but the group I was with had a Merlot called wandering wines they said it was delicious. Oh and if you go youre going to have to try what they call Moms lasagna. We had Justin helping us out majority of the time great person have a conversation with just learning different places around the area he was very hospitable.

What an excellent selection of wines! They do carry local beers as well. My husband enjoyed a local craft from American Craft Aleworks out of West Palm Beach. I loved the HOC Cabernet, which was recommended by Justin. They also have a full menu & cheese boards as well.Justin McSherry took over CWC at the end of 2020 and is in the process of revamping the food and beverage selections. Everything I have seen looks to be a win and I am looking forward to going again. Cheers!

We had a late lunch lunch here. This place is unique in so many ways. The decor, menu and service are all fantastic. We had a charcuterie board created by owner, Justin. Delicious and plenty for three. Then I couldn’t resist ordering fried goat cheese with raspberry guava paste. Absolutely beyond delicious. Justin serves wines that you just don’t find everywhere. He has an educated palate and brings you exactly what you want but don’t know it yet. Lol. It was a delightful experience and we will go back soon.

Food was very fresh and flavorful. No complaints about the service. We had a nice bottle of Pinot. The prices are very reasonable. Especially for the quality and unique selection. We will be putting this place in our regular eat out rotation.

Hidden gem!! The decor is really cozy and charming. The Dali salad is probably one of the best salads I’ve ever had. It’s really good to be at a cafe that has a different vibe than a chain.

Great place for wine, appetizers and dinner. I’ve visited a few times now and everyone I’ve brought along has loved the atmosphere, wine suggestions and food. The Pawnee Justin is always very friendly and helpful. Lauren has served us a few times as well and is always very nice.

This place was kind of a long walk from where we were staying (at the Marshall House), but Tampa is a lovely place to walk around in the early morning (and every other time of day) so we didnt mind it. Its a quaint little diner. French toast was amazing. My husband had an omelet and he really enjoyed that as well. We would definitely stop here again for breakfast!

Very cute place inside. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all. We started with the Meatball with Ricotta and Mozzarella small plate. It was $8 and had two decent sized meat balls.My husband and I got salads. The salads were more toppings then greenery which makes a delicious salad. You know how most places put tons and tons of lettuce then scant with the toppings. Well not here - get the salad, you wont be disappointed. I got the Picasso salad and my husband got the Warhol salad.I do have to question if they will always be like that as the other waitress stated Wow he hooked you up I asked her what she meant and she stated he put a little extra toppings on ours.The wines were OK they have 50% off of wine on Thursdays, so I would highly suggest going when they had the 1/2 off of wine.We went on October 27th and they still had their Summer menu posted with a different wine special but stated thats just for summer and no longer valid. I asked why it was still on the menu and they said they had not updated it.Parking can be confusing but make sure to park in the parking garage for easiest access.We would definitely go back for dinner - on a Thursday night and will update the review on Dinner food.They gave us a free Macaroon for us to split and try. It was the best cookie I have had in a while.I would like to mention the ladies room. Please fix the holes in the wall, the peeling paint and the dirty mirror. Everything else about the place was nice except you felt like you were in a different bathroom.

We went here over 8 times during our trip! Not only is this the best food in Florida, the staff is beyond amazing. The sweetest people you will ever meet. The rice bowls, sandwiches, coffee and treats are above all the competition. The wine selection is top notch and the decor inside and out will make you feel like you are floating on cloud 9. It is. Truly magical little cafe ❤️

We went early in the evening and the place is super cute. The cheese platter and wine were delicious. They did not have the bottle we wanted, but the recommendation by the gentleman in the back was delicious. We ordered the chicken piccata for dinner and that too was delicious. For desert we had the bread pudding and it was also, fantastic. I guess, the reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is just for service. The waitress was either new or not yet trained. It’s OK. I know it’s hard to hire in today’s times. She was just not around often and hard to locate. There was no paper in the bathrooms to dry your hands. With C19, that was alarming, since a roll of toilet paper was what was on the sink for us. I think if they cleaned up the restrooms and just have a little better service, This place would be worth the money for sure. We will go back and give another chance, the ambience is simply wonderful.

We decided to try out this place for an anniversary brunch. The cheese, olive and dried fruit platter was delish! It came with crusty bread, brie, sharp cheddar, grapes, Greek olives and a pesto spread. I had a basmati rice bowl with feta, chicken, apples and almonds accompanied with a glass of Chardonnay and my husband had chicken salad on a fresh baguette. Such an adorable, eclectic establishment. Will definitely be returning!!!

Our experience at CWC was fantastic! Excellent wine menu with almost no brand names to speak of which I really appreciated. We spoke at length with owner, Justin, on wines. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and has a good vision for the future of this wonderful place. Atmosphere is very cozy. We came early and were able to get the enviable corner space with a small couch and tables. Food was great too, had crab cakes, the buratta appetizer, fried goat cheese balls and the grilled cheese sandwich. All of which was delicious. Vey good date night spot! We will definitely be returning.

This restaurant used to be our favorite place to go for a nice, consistently generous meal made with care and great ingredients. Although pricey, it was all worth it because the portions were nice and we went home satiated after an appetizer and entree. Starting a few weeks ago, customers began to notice fees added to their checks for using a credit or debit card. Additionally the portions shrank dramatically. Where we once came home with an occasional leftover, now we come home still hungry after appetizers and entree. Even an offer of bread is rare. Sad but true. No longer a nice meal worth the expense.

Nice vintage vibe! Has outdoor seating and love that everything tastes homemade. My boyfriend and I enjoyed this place. We will be back for sure!

We live in NYC but spend a lot of time in Florida. Weve been coming to the Cheese and Wine Cafe for several years. The food is always great. Its a classy cafe with a varied and sophisticated menu. My daughter loves Matteos soup.

Every time i go to lantana its a must that i go to CWC at least 2-3 times! The food is so fresh, the bread amazing, the wine outstanding. Not to mention the atmosphere! If you dont go you are missing out on a great meal!

This is a lovely, intimate, upscale setting. The food and wine was delicious and the service was top notch.

We were a little uncomfortable initially because of the stares we received as a Black couple but the Chef came over and welcome us and explained items on menu we didnt understand and the waiters were very attentive as well. Judy (owner) is a gem and she is always looking to improve the customer experience. lunch is consistently delicious and the selection of cheese and wine is impressive for the size of the shop. Sit down and stay a while, a pretty outside seating area and more.

This is my second time. I had lentil soup this time for something. Soup was delicious but the bread it was served with were 2 very small pieces. Definitely disappointed with that. Service was great and would definitely come back again to try the cheese plate.
