Its a small shop but packed with great service. We had a hardware problem and they were happy to spend a fair bit of time working on finding the cause and then recommending replacement parts - all free. Decided to take them up on an offer for additional service because they were just so nice and affordable.I was a computer professional myself at one point, so theres not a lot I need typically, but Id definitely use them again for additional services.

Very Greatful for Nick (manager).Late last night my school computer quit. Because this is Memorial Weekend, I called many places with no luck finding anyone open. Computer Frog, 40 mins south of me, was open. Nick was very honest over the phone about what my chances were and what he might be able to do or not do. He had it fixed for me in about 10 minutes. He was very nice and also gave helpful advice to avoid complete loss of data.The place is very small but please give this them a chance. I could not have asked for better service.

I dont know what happened to this place. We had used them for years. They used to always do a real good job. But this place has taken a nose dive. We recently took my daughters laptop in to be worked on. They were slow, which is ok. But lying to us and doing exceptionally poor work is not. Sad to say, but avoid this place.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! My god. How can this place still be in business?There are orders on the ground from April of 2017 still out. When I deposited a hard drive 2 months ago and came to pick it up, the guy had lost it saying I dont know where it is, can I drop it of later?. This place is robbing Lapeer blind, as well as wasting many peoples precious time. Im convinced that most of the 5 star ratings are paid for or fake. Read the non 5s for an accurate assesment.Just look at the photos if you need convincing. Someone should call the police. 0/10

I was happy with the service and would give it 5 ⭐ but they took longer than originally said. Also, they gave me the wrong power cord when i picked it up.

Like another review said, I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Probably their biggest issue is their promises to call back even though they have no intention to. I wont bore you with the details- but over the course of one month, I had MULTIPLE issues with the computer I took here. I brought it in with one simple problem, but I ended up with 3 more additional problems and COUNTLESS trips back and forth to get these issues resolved. Parts were switched and I was told they were brand new, although they looked nothing like the parts on the computer beforehand. Throughout the process of getting all of these issues resolved, I called NUMEROUS times and they always assured THEY would call ME back, yet I never received one call. Their lack of communication is horrible and the length of time to make repairs is unacceptable- this may have to do with the fact that when I went to pick up my computer he was playing a video game. Not to mention- the place is disgusting. There were at least 100 computers scattered and stacked across the place, and I dont think it has ever been cleaned. They definitely need a new slogan- as Fast, Reliable, On-time, Guaranteed, would NOT describe this business. I will never be going back and wish I wouldve done my research before going here, hope I can save someone the trouble!

We run a small marketing company in Lapeer and Computer Frog is our go to whenever we need our computers fixed or upgraded.I was purchasing computers direct from Amazon, or the Manufactures and when one of them failed they mentioned they could just build us on better and for less money that I was paying for them. We now only have them built and supported directly though Computer Frog!The guys there are great to work with and highly skilled, Im just glad I found them!

All Ive ever done is purchase a few, small items from these guys but their prices are very low and theyre very knowledgeable - and they were eager to be of help when, frankly, there was not much in it for them.... I think thats a very good sign! Struck me as eminently honest. In once case I insisted on paying them a bit more than they were asking for a cable I needed. These are particularly honest folks. Cant imagine someone not being satisfied with their work/customer service!

Took in my iBuyPower pc which kept blue screening every few months and had computer frog take a look which they speedily found out that I had bad ram. The guys there replaced it very quick and had me on my way with a working gaming rig. My gaming laptop will be taken there soon.

I send a lot of business this way because The Frog has always been reliable and an honest place to have my electronics serviced. They cleaned out my PS4 for next to nothing and are always down to have a chat about tech. Love it.

They have had my laptop over a year just to backup the pictures because it died. Always get excuses that someone else who isn’t there has been “working on it” for over a year just to back up photos. Ready to file small claims to get my computer and hard drive back. Don’t do it

They installed a high performance graphics card in our gaming PC and they upgraded the power source to handle the new equipment with room to expand if needed. I had them build our new computers and we love them. The price was more than fair. They also came out to help me re-install programs and answer all of my questions regarding the new computer. Tweaked and created shortcuts to make things easier for me. They went above and beyond. Very professional, excellent customer service, and the person who answers the phone is prompt and courteous. Great experience every time. Would highly recommend (and do all the time!).

Not real happy with the service I received. Took laptop in thinking I had a bad hard drive, was told it would take 2 business days but it took a few days longer. Still dont know what was done to it... so many things missing. I no longer even remotely recognize my laptop... not even sure what to do at this point.

Great computer shop, Ive had a few things done here throughout the years and theyve never failed me, Virus removal, a tune up, and they built me a great computer for only around $500.00, best computer Ive ever had. Very fair priced, and personable.

My computer kept shutting down after minutes of use. I gave it to Computer Frog to fix, and they never did. They had my computer for five months before I decided Ive had enough and went and picked it up. When I got there, they had lost my charging cord. I called them four times over the course of the five months they had my computer and they always said the same thing: they were working on it. It doesnt take that long. They said they would call me on several occasions and never did. Terrible service. There are better places in Lapeer to take your computer for repair, but do yourself a favor and dont take it here.

Couldnt be happier! These guys fixed my computer for like half the price of what another company had quoted me, and they got back to me faster too. Will definately be bringing my other machine in to get looked at! :D

Literally STOLE our computer. We dropped it off for a repair, and were repeatedly told we should just buy another laptop from them instead of having ours fixed. They said theyd call when they found out more information about our computer problem. Never called. We made numerous calls to them and were given the run around each time on how the specific person who was working on it wasnt in or available. Months had gone by with no returned phone calls. SEVERAL months later, we began to call again, only to be confronted with the same issue. One employee even told us we hadnt dropped our computer off there! Month go by again, no returned calls. FINALLY we call again, and an employee says our computer is in their storage unit because they couldnt reach us! (Though we had called many times) and that they would track it down and give us a call. THAT WAS OVER 6 MONTHS AGO. NO returned calls! No one knows where my computer is. Half the time they say it was never dropped off, its in storage, or the right guy isnt there..We dropped this computer off OVER 1.5 years ago and never had it returned to us. I had to buy another computer. The computer we took to get fixed was never found. The issue was never resolved. I could have taken it anywhere else and atleast had my files and recovered of my deceased mother. Those were the only photos I had of her and Ill never get them back. I am beyond dissapointed. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ive read other reviews on facebook about them also stealing other customers computers. I should have listened to the community. Im out of my Dell all in one computer, and photos I can never get back. After this long Im not even sure if Im able to file a civil lawsuit against them, but Im making my first attempt to do so today. Terrible place. Dont trust them. Dont leave your valuables with them. Im sure 99% get their computer back, but theres also that slim chance that youll never see your computer again like us and you will be SOL with no resolution or sympathy from the Computer Frog. Theyll say you never dropped it off. They wont return your calls.

Hate to be so rude because its a local business...Friendly staff, but twice Ive brought my electronics in and twice Ive been dissatisfied.Brought a PC in and it took 3 months before they told me they cant figure out whats wrong. And thats after calling them every week.Second time, I took a laptop in and asked.for a quote, after playing phone tag and being told the technician working on your laptop is with a customer, hell call you back in 5 minutes. He never called, I ended up calling a week later. A month went by and they finally had an estimate, I figured it wasnt worth it. Took the laptop back, thankfully no charge cuz I would have been upset.Get home, plus the laptop in, and now with keyboard and trackpad arent working. They literally broke my laptop even more.Thanks Fast. Reliable. On time. GUARANTEED
