I love DMU! All of the vendors are local so my shopping not only helps a real person (lots of people really!) it also supports my comunity. I also love that its in downtown, its open late on wed, fri and sat! I moved here 2 years ago and have been a regular for over a year now. I always receive compliments on things Ive bought at DMU. The inventory is always changing so I like to stop by often!

Every time I go in there is something new to look at! The vendors sell amazing items and the name has it right with their items being unique. The ladies who work behind the counter are super sweet and always available to help. I would definitely recommend everyone to check it out, youll never know what youll find!

The Owner, Kristen has a heart of gold and will gladly answer questions and reach out to makers within the shop to make your gift giving or decoration desires a reality.

Downtown Michigan uniques, stole my merchandise and kept my money owed to me from product sold in July and august and refuses to give me my product and money. I am one of DOZENS artist/maker/crafters the store owner has done this to. She has made enemies with half the business owners on Nepessing st. In downtown historical Lapeer. This might be a cute store but the owner uses people and steal their hard earned money and products. Please do NOT support this store!

Beautiful shop! All michigan/local made. The owner is fantastic and very kind. If you like Star Wars, they have many items for you! I will be back for more bath items.
