I had been looking for a shabby chic shelves for months, ordered many different mantel styles and returned all of them. I came across this company spoke to Sandra, showed her a picture of what I had in mind.Within 10 days I had the perfect shelve with the exact coloring I had hoped for. Couldn’t have been any better. Pollums Natural Resources recently made a custom order mantel for me. I placed the order on a Saturday; my mantel was delivered to me (in Illinois) the following Thursday. Sandy answered all my questions before placing my order and was very prompt and clear in doing so. My mantel is absolutely beautiful; each piece of wood was obviously meticulously picked and pieced together. Im so very happy and impressed by this company and highly recommend them.

Must have caught him on a wrong day because Harry (the owner) was extremely rude and condescending. I asked him a simple question if I could pay him some extra money to come out to my home and measure some cabinets for butcher block counter tops I wanted made. I am not a cabinet or counter top maker by trade and I just wanted things to be right. A simple yes or no wouldve sufficed, especially when I was willing to pay extra money for the inconvenience. Instead I got If you cant read a tape measure thats your problem. Not acceptable. I had a historical business relationship with Harry, selling him timber from a wood lot of mine. It was a simple question, and I didnt deserve to be treated in that manner. I have always been nothing but polite in our dealings. To be honest though they have always treated me like my business wasnt important enough for them. Very disappointing because harry is a decent wood worker. Hes just not very kind or polite.

Very helpful. Price was amazing. Set up appointment and had no problems. First time there and will definitely go back, Got a great piece of ambrosia maple. Headed back today for more.

I have purchased lumber here before and it was okay but when I call to ask about being able to purchase lumber at 4:00 on a Tuesday I’m told we close at 2:30. Not asking any other questions of me just no. Sorry I can buy lumber somewhere else and the idea u close at 2:30 on a weekday how is a guy that works and needs supplies for the next job suppose to get there never again.

We lie cheat n steal. Dont trust us!Just read their other reviews..notice one of the 5 stars has their last name on it..kinda goes along with the lying part.Lol.Harrys wife, owner of the business, tried to get me fired from my job by lying to my boss rather than pay me money they owed...So not reputable. Buy elsewhere!!The only good reviews are paid for. You have been warned... Buyer beware.

The product was very nice and stable but the wrong stain color. The woman I spoke to seemed like she needed a vacation. She was slightly rude and insulting. I was willing to pay the shipping! The customer isnt always right with Pollums Natural Resources, unfortanately.

Incredibly rude me and disrespectful. Says they are by appointment on the weekends show up on Friday and they hang up on me telling me they arent open. Save your money and your time go somewhere else.
