Jeff the manager was such a treat to work with. Very personable and a true gentleman. Highly recommend and will absolutely go back for any future needs.
Staff is knowledgeable and does their best to find what you need.
My daughter and I went into the Bloedorn store in Laramie, WY looking for some lumber to build a retaining wall. The gentleman that helped us was great! He showed us several different options and then recommended which one he would use. We went with the railroad ties. He then went outside with us and went through most of the RR ties finding us the best of what they had and set them aside for delivery. When the RR ties were delivered I asked the 2 young men if they could put them close to where we were going to be needing them. They took them off the truck and put them in place for us! I was shocked!!! Bloedorn is a great company and obviously hires wonderful employees! Hands down better than any of the others around!
I just picked up a single 1x6 x8 pine plank for $9. Menards lists them at $3. I mentioned the difference to the clerk. I can understand a difference of 5%, or even 10%, but 300%?
I dont know where to start with these heroes... Seriously. I could not be any more thankful for the whole team that works at Bloedorn. I have never been turned away, refused help, or given any problems here at all. In fact, just the opposite. These guys have always handled myself with the absolute utmost respect and I could never express it enough how much it means to some of us that get to use them every day in so many ways, and the service never changes. A HUGE personal thank you to John, Wes, Chad, Willy, Tanner, Dan, and every other hard working hero in Laramies Bloedorn Lumber!! I hope you all get the chance to read this, thank you so very much, for all that you do!
Great customer service!!!! We bought our kitchen from Chantal, and she did an AMAZING job! I would recommend her to anyone. We never felt rushed and she gave us so much of her time to make sure everything was just as we wanted it. She helped me with backsplash, paint colors, flooring and much more. Definitely request her for any of your design needs, you won’t be disappointed.
Prices are very high! I expect to pay a little higher price to buy something locally. They are not even in the same ballpark for lumber prices. Their prices make it worth the drive over to Cheyenne.
Fast, helpful, and friendly. Great selection, reasonable prices, local people.
Every time I go into that store the employees treat me with the utmost respect very nice very courteous yes sir no sir have a great day all that stuff they tell me that so I will be going back every time I need something thank you very much for making me feel great
Fabulous...always..customer support staff provides top quality service with a smile...and popcorn before the virus..❤😷💐
I had to search for some decent 2 by 4 after awhile I found 2 pieces that were in decent shape. I had a really helpful guy come out to help me find all the other things I need. Good for a small town and small projects but if you need to get a ton of supplies go to the big city. By far the best place in town to get lumber.
Great prices. Nice people.
Best place in Laramie wy for Hardware supplies and Lumber although that’s not saying much. very friendly staff and very helpful however. Usually I go to Cheyenne or Fort Collins for big stuff.
I always find the in-store staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. If people of Laramie consider the time and mileage cost of shopping out of town, staying home and shopping at Bloedorn is a great value.
Wow! What a turnaround! Turns out people do pay attention to these comments. Seems that these guys now have a person on the floor for questions and assistance and the staff is very attentive. Customer service went from D+ to A-. Good job.
A great place to get your materials and tools. Their oak plywood has a very thick oak veneer layer compared to chain store oak plywood with paper thin oak veneer. Staff is very helpful. Store is well stocked and carries high quality items.
I’ve never had a problem with customer service. No, someone usually doesn’t seek me out to ask if I need help but if I do, I ask and they’re kind enough to help every time. I do find prices to be high on some items land fair on others. Insulation for instance, they only have master packs and they’re $45/ea while Menards charges $27 for the same R-value and square footage. Drywall though is $1-2 per panel more, which I’ll gladly spend to not have to drive to Cheyenne. The only complaint I have is quality. Almost all building materials are stored outside and they show it. Searching for a 2x4? Expect to spend 10-15 minutes with the nice yard guy to get a handful of straight ones. MDF board is the one thing I will no longer buy here. Bought three times and each time it was swollen and water damaged, above being overpriced. I know we are in a small city and revenue isn’t high, but if you guys would improve the storage if your stock and try to make it worth my time and energy to NOT drive to Menard’s, I would spend $1000’s here instead of $100-200. Not bad, but definitely room for improvement.
Good customer service. Always able to get what I need even if that means they need to order it.
Prices were a bit high.
Outrageously over priced = GOUGING! How can they claim to be a fair service knowing they are the only lumber service in town yet close at 5 pm and are not open on sunday...not serving community but self serving!
Every time I go there the customer service is terrible. They are very rude when you ask a question and the price for wood is higher than it should be. We asked them to cut a board for us and they charged us for extra cuts and did not even cut it to the right length.
Worst online site Ive ever experienced
Good place to buy stuff, knowledgeable staff that does a great job of helping you. Definitely will be back again!
Didnt have two of the three items we were looking for, but very polite and knowledgeable.
Staff was very friendly and eager to show me where I could find what I was looking for. Prices are on the high side.
Great local place to shop. They always have a full staff of knowledgeable sales people to help with any building project.
Great service.
I like to shop local but i cant justify shopping here. Prices gouging to say the least. Asked for some DPI Frost White Panelling Item #108706. Employee wrote it down price of $48.99. After tell the employee I really didnt want to drive to Cheyenne he lowered the price to $40.56. Still didnt feel price was right. I looked up that model number on thier website. It lists for $26.99. Home Depot has same product for $12.97. Yes I wont be shopping there. Over all buying the three different sheets of panelling I need I will save $40...okay $30 since it will take a quarter tank if gas. Gave one star only because they wouldnt let me put none.
New layout is nice and lots of new tools and brands.
Great Customer service!!
I was starting a remodel and the first task was installing a used furnace from scratch. I went in and asked if they had any duct board. The fellow sitting behind a desk behind the counter was totally disdainful. It was the worst customer service Ive encountered in a long time. He treated me like an idiot, when it was he (it turns out) who didnt know what furnace duct board is. Im giving my experience three stars because that was the only time I was treated poorly. Prices are high, and if I need to spend more than $200 its worth traveling to Ft. Collins or Cheyenne.
I went in here trying to spend a few dollarsIt seems like the staff was too busy to ring me upBut he sure did notice his buddy when he came through the doorthere’s other choices in this townI won’t come back unless I have an emergency
For the most part these guys are alright but the customer service is garbage. Especially the sawed off old prick working up front who has a bad attitude every time you go in. Then stand in line for 10 minutes just to have him call his buddy up behind you. Ridiculous.
I tried to give my business to these people and as the reviews say the customer service is just awful. There is one thing that keeps customers and it isn’t pricing.
Its more than a lumber company and it beats the big box stores by having a staff who actually know something about the products they sell. Customer service lives and breathes in this place!
Customer service is the worst Ive ever experienced. You cant find someone there who cares.Do yourself a favor... drive to Cheyenne, Fort Collins or even Casper.
Best place in town to get lumber
Price for lumber is a little high but i guess thats what you get for having no competition. what got me was they charge you 15$ to make a single cut to the wood just so i could fit it in my car.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Customer service is just awful
Great
