We went to sit and and was waited by the waitress immediately to look upon the menu. Got our water. Did not take over five minutes to decide and waited over fifteen minutes thereafter to have our order taken. The waitress walked past us various times and to attend other guests but paid no mind to us, so we left. When I go out to eat, I expect good service and attentive wait staff. It was not looking promising considering they were not in high traffic of guests. If they were, I would have been understanding.

Waiter was attentive, amable and service was good. But the food wasnt really good, menudo had a funky smell and the fruit didnt taste fresh (more like frozen).I do not recommend the food here.

Bro’s had a delicious Huge Cheesy Milanesa. It’s Huge size was just right for him but it actually could to feed an entire family the sides just were just basic ok.

The staff was friendly, and the food was good BUT it was 7:20pm (they close at 8pm) and they already had thrown away all the coffee without asking the customers if they wanted some... so beware that, one hour before closing, they wont have any more coffee and kitchen closes 30 min before closing time🙄

The food was not what I expected. It was overpriced, and under served. They rely on good memory for order so I got the wrong one. If you pay by card more fees added. Unfortunately, my experience is not a good one so I just will not return. There’s other Mx restaurants, really authentic with more variety, great taste and I don’t know why I thought the name of a bread where they sell cakes would have good food.

The food here is so good. I love the chicken mole plate because its not too spicy hot. Its flavorful! I also love the Enchiladas Callejeras just like the ones from La Palapa from a bygone era in Laredo.

I really enjoy the food and culture at this lovely place. I celebrated my birthday here once and it was the best time of my life. Order the enchiladas, bolillos and flautas

I came here and can’t believe I paid $13.99 plus tax for a tampiquena plate that should be called TANPEQUEÑA instead (sooo small serving sizes). It was honestly a joke to me. The plate came with a sad small pile of fajita ONE enchilada ONE taco (yes really just ONE of each) and a small side of beans and rice and the taste was acceptable but not anything special especially considering all the other local Mexican restaurants that serve better tampiquena plates for the same price. it’s not about the money it’s about the quantity and quality of the food. Disappointed. Don’t waste your money here.

Food was good but it seemed like my waitress didnt feel like working. She took forever to approach the table and when she had another waiter bring the food we told him it was wrong and she came to the table and argued that what was ordered, it wasnt what we order then she make a made a noise rolled her eyes and walked away.

Bad carry-on service. Besides the fact that one of the toastadas was broken, the chicken portion is way small and cold. Come on I have got this plate before and it wasnt like this. Why they could it get it like they do when you dine-in 😡😤. It left me with this much to say.

OMG!!! Such a cute place!! Food was incredible had also ordered a small tlapeno soup(chicken tortilla) but didnt photograph it lol once i realized i was halfway done the bowl. The cilantro shrimp salad was a huge serving. Service is fantastic. Oh and the pastries 😍

Food was really good. Service was okay. The waitress took much time to come and see if we needed anything (which we did) but you could see that everyone was working hard doing tons of things at the same time. Other than that, they were nice and efficient. Overall we had a great time and a full and happy stomach. I’d definitely come back.

Tried ordering online but website was offline...went to the restaurant and ordered there. Took about 30 minutes from order to receiving food. This is one of the stops I always make when visiting Laredo (love the enchiladas callajeras).

Had the mokalita and a bolillo for breakfast and they were Delicious! Its a beautiful, welcoming café with great prices and delicious food. Cant wait to go back and try something different.

This place has been a local favorite. Not a big franchise but came out as an extension of Cake Land. The servers are quick to provide good service always, even when the restaurant is at capacity. They have a great menu selection, not all traditional Mexican but many varieties. The place has many painting on the walls from local artists. The chicken salad sandwich with the poblano was very good and under $10. The sandwich bread was soft as well as the chicken salad very good, well proportioned of ingredients. The restaurant also has a good variety of sweet bread and cakes made to order. On certain days, they host Starving Picasso where people can learn how to paint a pre-selected picture and you can order from a small food and drink selection. Also, the location with Lolas restaurant with lights at night is very beautiful. They also host weekend markets.

Very good food nice family atmosphere, suggest look at whole menu.. Oh and upon finishing look and take some Mexican Sweet bread. BLANCA my wife and I enjoyed a great meal about an hour ago. My blood sugar was crashing. ENJOY!!

This place is wonderful. I do enjoy the service. The food is very good. I do like trying different items from the menu. I mostly go for lunch and will always try a burger or enchiladas.The breakfast is fantastic! I love there bolillo sampler as well.The bakery is top notch. Sometimes pick up a variety of items for the office as a mid day pick me up.Now I saw this item at a cafe in San Antonio and asked if they could make it. They said they could but haven’t asked them yet. A concha burger. Replacing the buns with a concha. I do want to try this at some point.

Ordered for pick up. When I got there I called and they said there was no more curbside, I would have to go inside. I told them to cancel my order, they told me it was ready, I told them if they would not do curbside to cancel my order. Then they hung up.

One of my favorite restaurants to go to in the city. Love the food that is given and offered! And the fideo soup that they bring to you has always tasted good for me. And they also have many choices of what to choose from. Their appetizers are also good and you can also choose from pastries the location also sells that can fill up your cravings. 🍽🥣🥙🍰

Simple foods but good taste. Interior was vibrant and interesting. We were served about 15 to 18 minutes after ordering. (Quite a wait for what we ordered). Lemonaid was slightly bitter. Might visit again. Other more central location had servers that were better and faster.

Love this place for the comfort food. I dont give it five stars because ... well... you can find better mexican food elsewhere, but the prices are decent for what you get. Either way, food is good, good dessert selection since it has a bakery inside. I keep forgetting to take a picture of my food.

They do not follow their hours, they say they are open until 8pm on Saturday’s but when we called at 740pm to place an order they said they were already closed. Very unprofessional!! Used to be one of our favorites, not anymore!! BYE!!
