I have had my ADT alarm system for 20 years. Through out this entire time I have been very satisfied . I recently had to call out a technician and they sent David. He was professional,courteous and went above and beyond to explain and help me understand any and all questions I had. He is definitely a highly skilled technician and an asset to the company. I highly recommend ADT for all your security needs great products and technicians.

In past 3 years, ADT has lied to us and tried to grossly overcharge us 3 times. This USED TO BE a good company. NOT ANYMORE!

I have paid ADT $6,000 a year for 6 years for my security system and the past 2 years have been a nightmare. They did not show to replace equipment that was outdated and continued to bill me and take my money. Their equipment has been the culprit to my alarm going off- when I have not even programmed it- and cost me money with the local police department. I will never advise anyone to use them and I will never use this company again.

ADT has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. This company clearly lacks the appropriate tools to provide good customer service. From the moment of installation it has been billing problem after problem, that never seem to get resolved. During the day of installation I provided the correct card for my payments to get charged to and they still managed to mess the correct charges to the appropriate cards MULTIPLE TIMES. After 2 hours on hold to speak to a manager I still did not get through to a manager to correct their wrongdoing. They recommended for me to call my bank, which I did and my bank informed that it was ADT refusing to refund me for their mistake. This company is the epitome of the money hungry-non caring- just happy as long as they get their money- typical and awful company willing to screw their customers as long as they benefit from them at the end. I am beyond ready to have them collect their equipment and go with another security system, because clearly the lack of customer service will not make this company suitable for me or my partner. I would not recommend ADT to anyone looking for a security system and would recommend you take you money elsewhere and invest it in company that actually values their customers. Funny how a company that is supposed to protect you from theft are the ones who seem to be doing all the stealing. Unwilling to help and unwilling to resolve the mistakes they made. Never again!

We have used ADT for decades because of the service they provide. They are always responsive, helpful and courteous. Our most recent experience required a technician to come to the house to replace a slider door alarm. Steven called ahead of time as requested, he showed up on time and he was very helpful, courteous and professional. He wore his mask the entire time. He replaced a carbon monoxide detector and reinstalled a slider door alarm. He also replaced the battery in our main system panel. He went above and beyond what we expected and this is why we use ADT.

Steve, the technician arrived on time and was professional with the installation of an additional outdoor camera and new ring doorbell. He made certain the WiFi signal was strong enough and had troubleshoot where to install the camera. I was pleased with the installation.

I got ADT when I bought this house 11 years ago I have a virtual fortress and Ive never had a problem with them and my recent experience getting cameras installed the technician whose name was Anthony was top shelf he knew his stuff was even great with his trainee whose name was also Anthony I thought that was rather ironic they did it in a timely manner and made it real easy for me to understand the whole system I would recommend ADT to anybody I know

Horrible service since day one, outdoor cameras stop recording every time a power goes off even for a split second requiring unplugging camera outlets or rerecording the rules in the system. Many techs were here not able to resolve the issue, with the last tech saying that they can’t fix it and they are happy to cancel the account. He removed all the equipment and took it with him. Next thing I know I am still getting billed and my services never got canceled. Stay away from these scammers!

We had been experiencing a problem with one of our Zones that was constantly going off during the day, all hours of the night, etc. We made a request for Miguel in the Largo office to come out and determine what the problem was and to remedy it. He had come out last year and we were pleased with his expertise and knowledge. He came out today on schedule, diagnosed the problem and did an outstanding job solving our issues with this Zone. He is an excellent representative of your company! He is very conscientious, pleasant, thorough and professional! He tackles the job with respect and knowledge and solved all of our issues. I am very satisfied with the installation of my ADT security system.

I had an alarm system installed less than one month ago. The battery in the front door sensor stopped working so technician came out. It took him two minutes to replace the battery and ADT had the audacity to charge me $55 for the service call!!! Less than one month after installation! In addition, getting through to them was difficult because their phone prompts were not working. Very disappointed

I have had (3) separate ADT Doorbell cameras replaced over the past two weeks. None of the replacement doorbell cameras have functioned for more than 48 hours after they were installed. I had an event two weeks ago where a group of individuals targeted and trespassed onto my property. My ADT doorbell failed to capture the event. The police were notified and responded to my residence twice. Unfortunately I was unable to provide video evidence of the incident due to the malfunctioning ADT doorbell camera. I have been informed that my original “new” doorbell camera has been replaced by a “refurbished“ doorbell camera on all of my subsequent service visits. This fact was not disclosed to me prior to any of my replacement doorbell installations to date. I only discovered this fact after I inquired about the cosmetic condition of the doorbell which had obvious visual signs of wear. I was only then informed that ADT does not replace warranty items with “new” equipment. I feel that this ADT practice is deceptive, and dishonest! I’m requesting, and expecting to receive a “new” replacement ADT doorbell based on the fact that the original “new” ADT doorbell was only a few weeks old, and has been replaced on (3) separate occasions and is currently not recording video clips; no other remedy will suffice. I’m also requesting a full refund for (2) of the ADT dome cameras; I will return (2) of the ADT dome cameras upon receiving a full refund, not account credit. I have also experienced two of the four ADT dome cameras failing over the past few weeks after my initial ADT security camera install.I will be supplementing my current ADT security camera system with my recently purchased Arlo security camera system for better reliability and video security.Once again ADT has successfully found a way to leave me completely dissatisfied as a customer, as well as creating the feeling that my residence is not completely secure and protected from a video camera and doorbell camera prospective...Kudos ADT, you should be embarrassed!! Ive had adt for my business, it has been a total nightmare!!! I have had nothing but problems with the entire thing! Ive had more service calls to fix problems, then anything else! I have contacted Adt for 3 months now trying to just turn the entire thing off! 3 months and it still is on!! I have spoken to Jason Garrison business manager for adt who has done nothing! wont return my calls, and refuses to hold up the contract.. which states if you have more than 3 service calls in a 6 month period you are entitled to a full refund! he denied this, saying my system is fine! NEVER once coming to my location, or ever even asking what the problems are! the camera system which has only worked a total of 5 weeks out of the 7 months, the sensors continually have to be bypassed due to alarms for tampering! which have never been touched! the system continues to lose cellular connection, alarm continues to go off for no reason at all! I have contacted adt customer care 5 times to have my system turned off! over a period of 3 months, they continue to send Jason Garrison messages who continues to ignore them!!!! customer care says they will have him reach out to me to schedule it to be removed but he wont bother to call me! i have requested to be put in contact with his supervisor, over a month ago... still havent gotten a call!!!! i used to really like adt back in Chicago, now it has become the worst company and nightmare I have ever had to deal with! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!! to another company who actually cares about your business!!

Thanks to Kelsey, I stayed with ADT. I had issues with ADT that got rolled from an ADT dealer. I was willing to pay over $1,000 to get off the contract (remaining fee) but my case came across Kelsey and she immediately called and asked to see me that same day. I was tired of all the calls but she was so nice and wanted to sit with me, hear me out and provide a solution. I left work and met with her at home. She was awesome and made my decision easier to stay with ADT. After that, she has checked up on us to make sure everything is still good. Great customer service!

I LOVE my security system. The app makes all the difference because I can arm and disarm it right from my phone even when I’m away from home. My security cameras have come in handy for their intended purpose, of course - I’ve kept an eye on people around my property who have done damage, my neighbors have checked on their stolen packages (their house is fully within view,) we watch suspicious vehicles. But the real convenience here is never having to go to the door. I can watch for the pizza or grocery delivery guy right from my phone. I can also fact check my dog every time she barks at nothing. I seriously use my cameras daily just for convenience more than security. It’s fantastic. Totally worth it. The customer service is great - and VINNIE IS THE BEST!!!!

ADT is a business that practices deceptive and abusive practices. The company will commit fraud. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Please read the BBB complaints.They routinely tell customers that they are in a month to month contract and they can cancel anytime, however they are being deceptive and the truth isnyou will be tied in a 36 month contract with early termination penalties above $1000 for a contract you didnt sign or agree too.I called to cancel service today to be told unwittingly that i had agreed to a contract for 36 months and early termination fees are $1,154.04. I never agreed or signed up for a 36 month contract neither was i told verbally about this contract. And the signature on the contract is not even close to mine. It is mind boggling how fraud and deception was commited effortlessly.I have spoken with Account Management department and the escalation team, no one seems to care and only wants to get me off the phone as soon as possible. This Company takes advantage of middle class hardworking families.

Run as fast as you can from ADT. I am a soon to be former Bright House/Spectrum customer since they are no longer supporting this line of business as of February 2020. I contracted with ADT in December 2019 with the understanding that they could use my existing Spectrum door and window sensors with the addition of a converter. I was very specific in my request regarding the use of my existing equipment and I was assured by ADT it could be done. This was the sole reason for going with ADT. Due to multiple errors by the ADT representative when I paid and requested the service I endured problems throughout my quest to get the services installed. On 1/4/2020 a technician arrived at my home only to inform me that they could not use my existing equipment and that the initial representative gave me incorrect information. I was informed by the technician that in order to activate ADT I would have to purchase their sensors which cost $40.00 each. My existing home has 27 sensors which equated to $1,080.00. I declined their services on 1/4. Each time I contacted ADP for assistance throughout this process their representatives lacked the skills necessary to handle my concerns. Do yourself a favor and avoid ADP!

Our store’s security system was struck by lightning and Incapacitated. Our ADT rep Rob Cunningham immediately got us an appointment to repair the system. Arturo Macias, the tech who did the repair, was very professional and thorough. So glad to be a customer of ADT and Rob for over fifteen years.

I was having continual issues with my system over a 4 month period. After several others attempted to resolve my issues and many phone calls to technical support, Technician Joe was sent for, what was in my mind, the last attempt before I cancelled service. Joe Zielinsci was professional and showed up at 0800 on the dot. It did not take him long to diagnose the issues. Joe listened to all of my frustrations and assured me the issue would be resolved. Thanks to Joe, I do not have to listen to random beeping and can utilize the system again. He even stayed 20 extra minutes to make me feel more comfortable that the alarm would not beep again! I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and understanding. I am a happy customer again! Kudos to Joe Z.

Had a little problem with our key fobs and placement of control panel.The key fobs never worked, so we changed the batteries for brand new ones twice.The control panel was in a narrow hallway, and everone was knocking it. So I took it down.Ed was sent to fix the little problems.I should say Ed was sent from Heaven.5 ***** service with a smile. Professional and courteous.Ed put the control panel in the perfect place and fixed the key fobs in a jiffy.I would highly recommend ADT.

I recently had ADT install a system in my moms house. Anthony, our technician, was AMAZING! For the first time in all the different homes where we have had security systems installed the magic of NO WIRES SHOWING was made possible by Anthony! After 3 floods at my home I decided to get the flood detectors from ADT. Within less than a month of having them installed I was woken up to the one under my kitchen sink going off due to my water filter system leaking. I am thrilled that this is a service that ADT offers because they have given me peace of mind knowing that in the event of another leak I will be notified quickly so I can prevent further damage. Last issue (which was also due to my water filter system) cost me over $6,000 and wasnt covered by home owners insurance. I highly recommend them even if you have never had a problem with flooding in your home. Dan Cunningham was my installer. He was very kind, knowledgeable and thorough explaining and suggesting places to put the sensors and I am so thankful for him and ADT.

This company is a fraud. They forged our contract and our signatures, and doubled our bill. This is what they do. They will come to your house and promise you a low rate will get you to sign electronically the contract. Then they forge the contract and signatures! We filed multiple complaints, they called us stupid on the phone and that it is our fault. I have never seen such rudeness in my life. We filed fraud paperwork and never heard anything back, in the beginning they were saying that it is in process, but after 2 months they said we never filed anything. ADT literally said that they are not responsible for anything!!! Please do not call that company!!!!

I had a four hour wait appointment and they never showed up! I called and after a half hour on the phone they still couldn’t tell me when someone could come to the house! Glad it wasn’t a emergency!

We can add or remove employees, arm or disarm and we have a real time view on alarm status including any faults in the system. We have worked with our representative Robert Cunningham for more than a decade and he continues to go above and beyond showing us why he is #1 in the industry and an absolute asset to any organization making each and every one of our staff feel like they are the most important client he has. I called her on a Monday, she came to my house that same day and by Wednesday afternoon, I had a fully functional security system, with Ring at the front entrance, live cameras elsewhere, and a smart lock on the front door. The entire system can be controlled and monitored with smart devices. Its been a couple of weeks since the system was installed and it is a comforting feeling having this system and ADT on your side. Tiffany Claudio is everything an ADT consultant should be. She was proactive and sympathetic after she heard about our break-in. We worked together to develop and quickly schedule installation of our ADT system. She is considerate of my time and extremely responsive to follow up questions. We had our windows replaced in our home. Our security system was pre-wired, and not compatible with the new windows. ADT stepped up and had a technician come out and reconfigure our system to work with some of the pre-existing wiring, and with the newer wireless technology. The technician, Ed Peterson was amazing! He worked tirelessly for over 4 hours to accomplish this. He couldn’t finish the job because one of our widows came in with the wrong grid pattern. He came back to complete the job after the window was replaced. ADT did this for us under their loyalty program at no charge. If I could give them, and Ed a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. We have been a customer for many years, and plan to stay with them for many more.

A great install experience by two seasoned veterans that answered all my questions and provided a great experience.

Ed Peterson spent close to 5 hours at my home changing my entire ADT system so it would not go through the phone lines, which no longer existed. He was not only on time but he worked diligently in my hot garage for hours, never taking a break. He was neat, covered everything up and thoroughly explained how the system works and patiently answered my probably dumb questions. I will ask for him again if I have future issues and will highly recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Vincent Ingargiola. I’ve never had such a great experience working with someone that was trying to sell me something. Mr. Ingargiola came highly recommended from a couple of friends of mine that I trust, so I decided to give him a call. I have had 5 systems installed in my lifetime in either my place of residence or my business. Mr. Ingargiola was extremely knowledgeable about the systems and actually listened to what I was looking for. He didn’t try to up sell me on anything and actually blew me away with the pricing that he was able to secure! My favorite part of the interaction next to saving a good chunk of change was that he didn’t treat me as a new customer, he dealt with me as if we were family! Excellent system, perimeter security of doors, windows, garage door, doorbell cameras for package delivery tracking. Sam Myers has been an great representative and is available for any related issues. All systems tied to internet available by phone and computer. I feel better for family and pets.

Our representative Tiffany Claudio was prompt to offer a two step wiring process that helped us advance construction and got us ready for installation once we were completed with build out. Tiffany was helpful and knowledgeable of the community she serves. Excellent experience.

Not possible to give a ZERO! Stay away! There are other reputable alarm companies or even ADT dealers/representatives. Vinny Ingargiola will say whatever to get the sale. When he says youre only signing a work order and CC authorization, that translates to being signed up for automatic withdrawal. No matter if you have your own equipment, whatever you sign turns into a 36 month contract. Then when you call to ask questions his Mgr. Jason is only concerned with what can be proven, not by what was said, because he has a signed contract from his sales person. Instead of trying to work with a customer to figure out if someone did something wrong, they automatically put all of the burden on the customer.

James West....what a guy, he fixed and help set up all that is needed to help us understand all ATD has to offer. He help out and explained it detail, did not leave until we were fully in understanding how it works. Mr. West should get 6 Stars. Thank Great job.

Our technician, Robert Feliciano, was at our home on Saturday to correct a problem with our service equipment. He was very knowledgeable and made sure everything was taken care of before he left. He is a very personable service technician and an excellent representative of ADT.

Vinny Ingargiola came to our home and sold us on a contract with cameras that did not work or were not compatible. Two months after install our cameras stopped partially working only to have them completly stop working 4 months after install. After trying to contact him several times with no luck as to a solution and arguing with customer service, a nice gentleman came to my home and after running numerous tests, advised us that service should have never been hooked up in our home with the existing cameras as they were outdated and no longer compatible. Then after calling his superviser, he was told Vinny works for commercial and should have never been able to sell a residential contract. I was told a supervisor would be out to see what can be done and that was December and after about 20 calls to ADT, I now am having to retain an attorney to fight a collections notice as i refuse to pay for service we cannot use.I hope nobody else gets scammed like this.

I cancelled my service the day before the end of my billing cycle. They billed me for the next month anyway, and will not consider my account cancellation effective for 30 days. They called me 6 times and kept asking me why I cancelled and would not shut up. We cancelled it because it didn’t seem to be working... and when we removed the unit from the wall got no alarm...

Anthony and Steve, were professional and friendly and respected rules for safe contact. Anthony even helped us hook up TV!
