Friendly staff, prices arent too bad, they play great music
Great selection. Merchandise somewhat organized. Friendly service. Prices are good, especially on clothes.
This location is organized and clean. The choices are plentiful and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable
I found exactly five colorful and fitting NEW tops at this Goodwill last week. This Goodwill is large and clean and had ample clean fitting rooms. Well managed!
Interesting store. Most of the staff are terrific ❗😁
Excellent service. Good food. Friendly atmosphere. Love this place. Very clean. 5 STAR here.
What a disorganized, overpriced dump. I was shocked to see all the items just tossed on top of each other & it wasn’t the customers doing it.. it was employees. One older employee made it loud & clear his day was ending real soon while adding to the mess on the shelves. Terribly high prices
We love to visit this Goodwill. Ana is so friendly and kniws everyone. She makes sure to greet everyone who comes in and takes time to talk to everyone. All the employees are friendly and kind.
My mom bought my dad a shirt from here, they charged her twice for the shirt. She brought the receipt back and the item number was the exact same rung up twice for the exact price. Anyways, it was only $5 so not a big deal, but the employees and managers both treated my mom very poorly and disrespectfully when she is very very kind to all customer service workers.
If I could give less than one star I would. Was in there about a week ago and was very put off by the way this young man that worked there was treated by other staff. He was yelled at infront of customers and belittled for no reason. At one point this older woman that worked there yelled at him and slammed a set of around 40 keys into this kids hand expecting him to know which key that he needed to use. You could tell that the kid was afraid to ask what key he needed to use for what ever it was he needed a key for. It was horrible! It appears that the older woman was just an unhappy person that didnt like her job or this poor kid for that matter. I felt so sorry for him! I wanted to tell him to run!! Get out of that toxic envirt. I hope does and I wont be back there ever!
Always love the treasure hunt here. The staff work hard and have always been pleasant
Got a wooden toilet seat for 795 at Walmart theyre 25 bucks so thats pretty good savings
Good store. Great staff
Nice people but the prices seem too high for used odds and ends
This Goodwill has prices about twice as high as any Goodwill within 50 miles of it. A lot of the electronics are priced around retail with cracked, broken, or cut power cords. I literally felt like I walked into someoned bad idea of a joke at this store.
Always new things and great prices
I always find something in this store. As safe as any place in these times. Nice people work there.
Small location but I still found a few things, and they were 50% off. Friendly staff. Donation drop for is around the back of the building.
This Goodwill is the least desirable of all Goodwills in Pinellas County. Very, very unorganized, very cluttered. The store is too small to be so cluttered with junk. Prices run typical of a Goodwill store. I found the customers to be so friendly while the staff was not so friendly...almost rude.Personally, I will never shop there again, not when I can drive a few more miles to have a GREAT Goodwill experience at the Clearwater store. Truly night and day.
Great employees and awesome stuff for my kids at school
Not the greatest thrift. Very small selection of electronics. They get the other Goodwill leftovers
I find this place to be dirty and way too picked over cant find anything here I prefer the other thrift stores in the area.
Very nice I love Goodwill recommend it to anyone who likes a deal.
We enjoy good values like anyone! So a lady was checking out ahead of me and she had her cart full, she was able to get at least 20 outfits, some accessories and a suitcase all for $180.00 some things were brand new and she was thrilled. She mentioned she was starting over and was so happy she could do it for a lot less than any department store. Those of us behind her were happy for her......
I like this place. They cram a lot of interesting and hard to find items in a relatively small footprint. the prices are typical thrift store prices. I bought most of my pots and pans here. They are all copper bottom stainless and all vintage as in over 50 years old and still in amazingly good condition. same set my grandmother had. The people are friendly and helpful. I am now a regular customer.
Great prices! Many household items and clothing. A must see. Just take your time to look around. You will find something that you need. There was only one employee but she was very helpful.
Compared to other Goodwill around this one prices are on the very high side
Helpful, friendly staff. Good deals, and a good Mix of new and donated items crammed into a smaller store.
Customer service of the staff here is always so polite and friendly I even have a great time when I find nothing
Gor a portable dvd player. No cord I did not get to see if it worked. Got home had a cord. It did not work.....I brought it back no refund.... Its a shame how they can sell something that does not work. To not get a refund or something else from store . I lost out on 10 dollars. I will not return my buisness there any more.
Al and the entire staff was phenomenal at Life Storage on Myrtle Avenue Clearwater Fl. They definitely went above and beyond during my time in need of storage rental. Thanks so much!Derrick
Nice employee, but this store needs to be reorganized and many items dont have prices.
Linda and her staff are the best. They are always helpful and keep the store well stocked and clean. Great finds on every occasion!
Love going there, we got great deals and the staff is wonderful!
The two clerks working there the morning of October 3rd refused to let me purchase a candle cause I had a 20$ bill.Rude and unprofessional
The greeter and the cashier were both friendly. The patrons were kind of rude with how they oriented themselves in passing in aisles etc.
Every once in awhile you can find a good deal. But with their volunteers a Tall older man and an older lady with glasses and her daughter. Sitting there all day and attacking the bins the moment they hit the floor to get all the good stuff before they put anything on the shelves so they can turn around and sell it than boast about how they get all the good stuff. Makes this place less than desirable to go to anymore. UPDATE: havent gone since my last review. Decided to try again today and its worse than it was before and the store manager does nothing.
What kind of company doesnt allow exchanges, within 7 days with the receipt and never even opened. It states online that you can, but the store manager said no . I understand that its a non profit. Should still be allowed to return for store credit. Also why doesnt all Goodwill have the same policy?
Very helpful....great prices!
Why does Goodwill charge Tax on a used old item that was donated and charged tax on before donation? That they also recieved for free and priced it as New? Best part! Go to the shoe racks look at the prices. Then to a new shoe store. Ask yourself what was the difference. RIP!!! OFF!! DEAD PEOPLES BELONGINGS. How dare you sell like new!!
Good prices and good deals great group of people working good purpose. Hats off 2 you🤗
I went here in search of a microwave oven and there were a few to choose from; 2 of them were too large for my purposes but the third one was 900 watts and in excellent condition. It cost $19.99 so it was a great buy. Please note, they do not accept returns or exchanges, so the sales clerk advised me to plug it in an outlet they have in the store fir this purpose and it worked fine; I went home and cooked a frozen dinner and it was fine. They even helped carry it to car. 😃
I love this store
I dont believe their prices I rather go to Salvation Army and salvation army helps more ways, they have better stuff anyways. Its ridiculous because I donate to goodwill all the time They rather have all that close sitting there then to put stuff on sale
This store is a hot mess!!!!!I tried looking and the workers who had carts full of stuff had all the carts in front of the items, she saw I was looking or trying to look she did not move... Too much junk.
They want to charge new prices for very used items. Staff is not helpful or courteous in any way. Clothes are barely organized at all, not sorted by size or gender in the childrens section. They barely sort by gender in the adults section. Feels more like being taken advantage of than anything.
So much for what the word Goodwill implies they are Sky High on their prices
The staff was rude. They started rushing customers to finish shopping 45 minutes before closing. One of the workers took a stack of items I was sorting through in my cart and put them back on the rack without asking me. Another worker was complaining that people come in to shop right before closing. The store is a mess. None of the clothes are organized by size and there really just wasnt much to choose from. I had a much better experience at their big store on Gandy.
My boyfriend got placed here to do community service, the one lady he spoke to was rude and very inconsiderate. I went up there to try to turn in his paperwork because he works during the day. She called him immature for having me try to do it for him. Few days later he calls to check up on his application and she was very rude on the phone. Then she told the other store that he got transferred to not to work with him because he was immature and not willing to cooperate with the staff. Linda was very nice when I went up there to explain the situation so the DM can get a hold of him and get it fixed, the rest of the staff were helpful as well. Michelle is not a team player and shouldnt be working there if she treats people that way.
DRIVE AROUND BACK TO DROP OFF DONATIONS... I CALLED... NO ONE ON HERE SAID IF THEY DO... NOW I KNOW
ORGANIZED, clean, helpful staff, and fantastic prices !!! Thanks
Always find something I need... And somthings I dont. All good
People not wearing their masks.. Half on half off... Respect those that do wear them
Always a pleasant visit. And the savings . oh my goodness yes .. 👍
Great staff. Awesome Items at good prices. Love
Smaller store crammed with stuff. Prices are on the high side in my opinion. Bikes out front are junk. Kitchen selection good, very cluttered.
Knowing that the purchase of these items goes to good causes in helping folks with employment, some of this stuff is still priced ludicrously. Just being in the store for less than 5 minutes showed how many items are priced near identical to the original retail price of said item. Its obvious items are priced arbitrarily and if anything, on the higher side.
It is pretty small, but it is a thrift store, they have different things all the time. Some of the pricing makes no sense. They will sell an expensive item for nothing or vice versa. Nothing stands out to me compared to other shops
Good place to find cool stuff
Easy in and out from main highway. Food is close. Other stores.
Love this store. The people are friendly...customers sing along to the music they play. Friendly and helpful staff
The store takes items and sells items reasonably. They also offer services to people in need
Good prices and a lot of good stuff
It is a great place to find second hand articles, clothes, kitchen and furniture
Staff is wonderful the goods are plentiful nice bargains great giving experience
A vast selection of items and is absolutely perfect for collectors, I work nearby and the manager came and got to know me on my break, they have suck amazing staff.
Great selection of second hand values. Clean and found some good stuff.
I would give zero stars if I could. My husband rented a U-Haul so we could donate a few larger household items since we have a small vehicle. The first Goodwill store he went to told him that they do not accept larger items (two high counter bar stools) but that the Missouri Ave. location in Largo did. So, racking up the additional miles on the U-Haul, he drove to that store. During his drive there, it started to rain. When he arrived at the Largo store, they informed him that they would not accept anything with a drop of rain on it (even though the majority of our items were in plastic bags). With nowhere to dump our donations, he was forced to drive back to Seminole to drop our things back at home, racking up even more miles on the U-Haul, for which we will have to pay, all to get us back to square one. We will never donate another item to this store and will go out of our way to warn people of their horrible customer service.
Im crying tears for poor Jen Jen! Poor little girl!!!1) It is NOT over-priced.2) Staff workers are friendly!3) I laughed out loud when she said it was messy! (Good one Jen!)You try working there a few hours and see how friendly you are!
This store is smaller compare to the new one and the one on Gandy. Overall its a decent place. Just watch out for the drivers who goes down the one way McDonald parking lot
Much work done on this place since the last time we were there..Clean,well organized and workers very friendly...Recommend...
I go here all the time and spend a lot of money on electronics and video games but lately the prices are just ridicules, all video games are now $5.26, meanwhile most of the games they have there are on eBay for 1$ especially since most are sport games, they were selling a loose ps2 with no cables no games no controllers for $40. And last but not least they allow some guy to go back there and buy all the games from the truck before they even make it inside the store. They need to go back to charging reasonable prices for games like 1.99 or 2.99 max and also they need to make a policy that all inventory needs to be sold inside the store only. And last but not least if I am spending money there almost everyday I should get some sort of customer loyalty discount. After all I donate almost every day I am there and the money doesnt even go to charity it goes to the goodwill CEOs pockets.Other than that the staff is really nice
Bought defective and broken items couldnt test them before buying sadly didnt think they would actually try selling broken stuff
I only went for clothes. The price tags are marked high. I almost left without purchasing anything. Then I heard over the intercom 75% off. So I stayed. I got 3 pair of shorts,3 shirts and a pair of new flops all for 22.00.The cashier was very friendly.
The staff workers were rude and unhelpful. Over priced and couldnt find anything. The racks of clothes were so stuffed you couldnt get anything out. It was messy and when I went looking for a small glass meat loaf dish they were charging 6 dollars, it was so dirty it wasnt even worth it! Plus you can get the same dish new for the same price.
Good variety..prices are just a little high on some items for a thrift store
Not a lot of donated goods...this store carries mostly new goods. Its also freezing inside, make sure to bring a warm coat.
Very nice store, trying to do good.
Great place sometimes prices on some stuff can be ridiculously high low always deals
Bought a 25 dollar knee scooter walked out with it came back within 10 minutes when I realized it didnt work properly and the assistant manager was very rude about not giving refund I realize they dont do refunds but I wasnt even gone 10 min I asked to speak to mager she said I am assistant manager and I said no!! Very rude I will not donate any more money there.thought they could make exception since I didnt even leave the premises with item
Bearing in mind that the entirety of this and every other Goodwill locations inventory is solely based off of other peoples donations / garbage, so with that in mind the prices are astronomical I just cannot get over the fact that they would charge just about retail prices on over half of the inventory when again said inventory has been discarded by a former owner in some cases it is even 3rd or even 4th hand furniture, clothing etc. I would NEVER under ANY circumstances patronize this place, knowing the corporation collectively makes HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS, only donates a minutia of it, and the CEO & top brass take home 9 & 10 figures each year... off of peoples GARBAGE! No thanks!
Its a goodwill store... its dirty, dusty and disorganized. They have some decent stuff here, but I feel like alot of it is overpriced for what it is.
Accessible from roadway, lots of parking, organized store, friendly and helpful staff and found some bargains. I will bring my friends here for future thrift store excursions.
Good used and new stuff cheap.
Youll find unique stuff here all the time because of its central location to Clearwater, Largo, and Pinellas Park. The prices are also pretty good.
Way to much stuff crammed in a small space...staff was friendly, it was difficult to find things as many items were mixed, both mens and womens.
Good ish stuff. Didnt find what I was looking for but found other stuff instead so all in all a okay place.
Everything is thrown on to the shelf. Workers are rude and disrespectful.
Always friendly staff
I shop at this goodwill often however after my experience today I dont think I will be going back any time soon the older lady with short blonde hair was very rude and not helpful at all she talked to me like I was a dog just because I had a question about a price of an item
The store is old and dirty.
Great place. Lots of great selection!
Good selection of items but the place needs cleaning!
Nice prices and always has brand new stuff...
Ridiculous prices for other peoples trash! I love thrift stores & second hand shops, but this place is a dump.
Good stuff but ya gotta really look
