Good selection of old games with friendly service. In a good area and in a well maintained building.

Fantastic selection and very nicely laid out just reminded me of my childhood. A smaller version compared to the st Pete location but it definitely does not diminish the quality. Nice place for throwback games and some current games or a place to step back into childhood.

They had a game marked in case at real price, went up to buy it and they said “oh this a reproduction. I’m sorry I don’t know who priced that. I’m glad I caught that. This other game is 100% real though.” Nothing makes me trust a store less than something like that. To their credit they were honest. But still. That kind of stuff really bothers me as a collector.

I went here to sell and buy some items only to be met with poor customer service by a person with Pink hair. Poor attitude making me feel uncomfortable and just rude.

Do away with the “Yellow Sticker Consignment Section Case” in all the stores...The dude that runs that part in each store, used to come in my pawn shop 2-3 times a week looking for old games worth 100s of dollars. Then has the balls to only offer a few dollars for the games because it’s in a pawn shop.. THEN, When you find a game in the “Consignment Section” you can’t use Store Credit or get a DISCOUNT on any of the games.. Like I don’t know he paid 5-10$ for a game worth 80-90$...God forbid he miss out on 5$.... pretty sure he worked at GameStop too..

We have been customers of M & M games for a couple of years now. Normally we shop at the Pinellas Park location but my husbands game console quit on him, so he took the console for repairs at the Largo location. They werent able to fix it so they helped him get a working console. 100% will continue to do business at any and every location they have.

Customer service is terrible. Snobby little girls who look at and talk to you like youre beneath her. I was here a few weeks ago to sell my electronics, Ill never go back. Plus my husband bought a power cord quite awhile ago and it didnt work so we brought it back. Instead of refunding our purchase, with reciept!!! He gets a card advertising$5 promo. Huh ??

These guys are great. When my Xbox one broke right after Christmas, I was afraid I would have to go without until I could afford to replace it.They were able to replace the hard drive and turn it around for me in three days. Only cost $100, and Im back in business.I highly recommend this business.

We are so happy M & M Video Games is open again! I went there today with my son. He had some games and game systems he wanted to sell. Their customer service never disappoints. Cool local chain for used gaming products. Unlike big-daddy GameStop, they have a trade in system that actually feel fair and sometimes even generous. They have a wide selection of products, so it wont be hard to find something to spend that trade in credit on.A lot of my friends have moved to digital games, but I continue to buy physical copies so I know when Im done with a game I can always bring it here to get something back for my investment and reinvest in something new to try.The staff at each location, from Clearwater to St. Prete, has always been welcoming and professional. Find your location and give them a try.

Would give zero starts if they let me ia dropped my game off to be repaired they took it apart didnt put it back together I have parts missing from my game and there acting like they dont have to give my parts back theses people are unprofessional and theifs

Bought a N64, Pilot Wings and a extra controller. Matthew there was awesome. Answered all my wifes questions. Very patient with us. Took really good care of us. I would highly recommend this place in largo. Worth the drive from Tampa.

The absolute best local video game store Ive ever seen. They have a huge selection at each store location, they are well priced and the staff at all stores seem to be knowledgeable and very friendly. How is even awarded customer of the month and given free games and free stickers. This kind of wonderful customer service will be the end of GameStop.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. The manager of the store tried buying my Xbox one for $40 when I bought it two months ago from them for $170. The Xbox was slow when I got home with it and banged up to the extreme, I was told by the manager That if I did not bring it in within a month of purchase that I would just have to sell it back to them for what they want to buy it for. As a customer I feel like I was scammed by M&M Video Games and was not even allowed to test it upon purchase, this is beyond what a business should do to its customers. They were trying to make a quick $130 off me and i don’t appreciate that in any sense. I would like to just share my experience so that way nobody else gets conned by this business the way I have been.

EDIT! Thank you guys for fixing the problem.Dropped off my Xbox One controller here to be repaired was told it would take 2 to 3 days. As 2 weeks went by I called. then another week. was told they were waiting on parts to be shipped in. Finally a little over a month later they call and say its all good to go. When I get there I wait for about 5 minutes he brings me my controller but sets it on his side of counter not allowing me to check it out he says thatll be 30 dollars I ask to check out the controller when I notice the sticks havent been touched and it is still broken I demonstrate whats wrong with it and he acts like its non existent so I tell him it needs to be looked at it again. 2 days later I get a called saying its been fixed...again...and I have 7 days to pick it up. WTH so you guys keep my stuff for over a month false claim that it is fixed then tell me I have a week to come get it back. I think Ill just pay the extra 30 bucks and get a new controller.

Drove to the Largo store and spoke woman with pink hair. I was looking for the Def Jam Icon game for Xbox 360. She told me to go to the Tampa store cause there was one in stock. She literally did a search and looked my right in my face and told me the Tampa store had one game in stock. THERE IS NO TAMPA STORE....AND HASNT BEEN ONE FOR QUITE A WHILE!! Why would she not know this? Please train this lady. She is running off future customers with her lack of knowledge.

It was my first visit to the Largo store today, and it was a good experience all around. So far the store has a great selection of retro games, the employees are very helpful to serving their customers and fulfilling their gaming needs. For right now Im giving a four star for first visit and experience so we will see if i work up to a 5 star in the future.

They saved ny hubby xbox one from the flashing power button and the green screen of death!!! Lol Also Jim I believe is his name is soooooo nice lol. We ledt the Hdmi cord and my husband flipped thinking another customer might be dishonest and take it, but Jim put it away neatly at that and even wiped the down console upon returning it!!! Their selection for my son and hubby is always is in stock and the young lady with the awesome tutus and cat ears I LOVEEEE herrr she matches my weirdness lmao

This the mother of all the stores in Pinellas County.With a wide array of selections of old school consoles and games to the current video game systems. The manager Jimmy is very personable and has a great attitude. Give this place a shot if you are looking for a nostalgic game.

This place is amazing! I found my old Dreamcast games and a couple GameCube games while cleaning. A quick eBay search showed me I’d get nothing, and I remember still selling all my beloved Xbox 360 games to the big box game sto(p)re along with the console for $30. M & M offered me over $140 in store credit! Their selection was great and they have a new customer for life!

I went to this store a couple of weeks ago trying to get my ps4 pro fixed. It had a loud fan and I wanted it to be quiet. I sent it in the first time for 120$. I take it home and plug it in only to hear the same loud fan. Not only did they not fix it, but they sent it back with more problems. It even started turning off by itself, which never happened before. they offered to fix it again for free but no refund. I sent it back a 2nd time and it came back pretty loud again. I wasted 120$ for nothing. Never go to this store for repairs.

I had a Gameboy Pocket laying around and needed a game to try it out. Bought a game but the gameboy didnt want to work right. The store clerk worked his magic and got it fully working instead of trying to sell me a new device like others may. Very happy. Awesome customer service and very details with answers to questions. The reason for 3/5 stars is because one of store employees got mad at me because I wanted to get the games double tested since I live far from here. I even told him that but he still got mad. I think its pretty reasonable especially if its hard to get to this store....

Always have what we are looking for

I used to come in here all the time from 2014-16 to scrounge around for retro games and more often than not I would usually leave with a pretty good haul of reasonably priced stuff.Today however I visited the Largo location for the first time in four years and I was very disappointed at how awful this store has become.First of all the chick working in there was the only employee in the store but she was too busy entertaining some old guy and his kid to bother asking me if I needed anything, whatever. I browsed around the store for 15-20 minutes and the employee never greeted me or asked me if I was looking for anything, even after the other customers left, it was very rude and unwelcoming. She even greeted this other guy who came in after I did but I was ignored.The other problem with this place is that the store is very tiny and they dont have a wide selection of non Playstation/Xbox games. I used to come in here years and years ago to buy a ton of NES, SNES, N64 and Dreamcast games but they barely had any DC games on the shelf and most of them were in these generic DVD cases with cheap looking fake covers inside the cases, yeah no thanks. Buying retro games that are missing the original cases and manuals kind of defeats the point of buying retro games. I understand that these kinds of stores have to take what they can get but you would think they would only sell games in their original cases.Lastly the worst thing about this store is how most of the vintage games they keep locked behind the glass case are extremely OVERPRICED!! Who would seriously pay $90 for Mario Sunshine? You can always find way better deals on Ebay and even Craigslist.Unless this store stops overcharging games and hires employees who arent so damn rude, I wont be coming back.

Have recently been back to this store and I have to say its really improved in my opinion. Its nice to see the owners taking these reviews seriously and addressing the issues customers have had. This is my go-to local video game store. The staff is extremely friendly and dont mind me talking their ears off about games. One night I had a stack of trade-ins and they had no problem with me spending an hour looking over the store indecisively even though I was the only customer! Expect to pay a bit more then Ebay prices, but what you get with the warranty and being able to physically hold the items before purchase is totally worth it. I really hope these guys are around for a long time as its getting harder for brick-and-mortar stores.

Great prices

While the selection is fantastic and employees are relatively friendly, I have to give M&M games a 1 star due to poor customer service. As a long-time customer of theirs, my original PS2 from when I was a kid was no longer reading disks. I brought it to them for repairs which cost me $40. I brought it home, but never got to test it due to moving, having a full time job, and a TV that does not have composite cables to test it with. When I was finally able to test the console several months later, I found that not only could it not read discs, but that the disc drive no longer even spun. I brought it in to explain the situation and they very flatly told me there was nothing they could do for me at all. Since too much time had passed. I will never come back to this store, or any other M&M games location and I will make sure to inform everyone that I know to look elsewhere for video game repairs.

This is the best store for video games around. The owner and staff are so personable and helpful and truly make you feel like you are family. And can answer any question I ever asked intelligently and correctly. My family had been coming here since before they opened the other stores and only had the one on Ulmerton and will continue to go there until the end.

Very chill and calm atmosphere. Never too crowded. The cashiers are always friendly and fun to talk to. Most games are priced very fairly. Some games are really cheap. Any problems Ive had with my purchases in the past like scratched disks were always dealt with quickly and with a smile. Theyre happy to give a replacement game, or give you your money back in store credit. Theyll even test the games there in front of you to make sure it works. So much better than GameStop.

Amazing! I was trading in an n64, thinking i was gonna get a bad amount of store credit for it, but no! they have amazing trade in prices, and reasonable prices in general, if youre a retro gamer, i highly recommend it over gamestop, or really any gaming shop.

M & M is legit. This was the original store where it all started and I noticed a lot of growing from the company, I think they have like 5 stores now. The good thing here is the variety, hard to find games and collectibles and for pretty much every system. The owner is a good dude and I am glad to see them getting more business.

I love these guys. They have better prices than Game Stop and more selection than pawn shops. They have retro consoles with tons of options and have repair services as well. They stand by their products because I have had to return items that only worked for a few days. Check them out.

I was extremely pleased with my visit to m & m video games in florida. I visited while on vacation and bought 12 games. The price was all under $70! You will save allot of money going to this store. Most of the games I bought were 2x cheaper than they should be. Great prices, great selection of games, great store! I would recommend this store to anyone. :)

Great game store. The employee I dealt with just before Christmas was lame af! My boyfriend had literally just called them to see if they had any used chargers for something we got my son at a pawn shop, person told him yes and that it was like 6 bucks. Since boyfriend had unfortunately lost his job right before this time, money saving was important. I went in right after to buy said used charger, but was told they didnt carry them and shown that my option was a new 10 dollar one. I can sadly only assume that the employee treated me like he did, because he thought he could pull one over a me, cause Im a lady.

EDIT: after going back my experience has been great. I haven’t seen that employee since and have only dealt with either the owner or employees that treat customers with respectWhats funny is I had the same experience as Nick Williams. There is one guy behind the counter who is either too lazy to buy equipment or just a jerk. Every time I come by and he isnt working, the stuff he said is junk, your other staff purchases it no problem. Even if it is only a few dollars worth of stuff, its worth the time to buy something for $2 when you can sell it for $10. Every other person at the store has no problem except this one guy. Glad I wasnt the only person this happened to.

I love going here to sell and buy secondhand games and movies. Its locally owned, and the guys who run the shop are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. The prices are fair (better than any of the chain stores), and their collection of wares is impressive.
