I love this store They have things there that I havent seen in years. Its my new favorite store
Friendly service, great sandwiches. They have a unique selection of drinks, including many different types of root beer. Reasonable prices, and they do have a punch card for their deli foods.
Ill just start by saying that the store is very small. It has some of the products from back home but its not loaded with Amish products in my opinion.Ill start off by saying when I went into the store to get a sandwich I asked the lady that was making my sandwich to replace the glove she had on. She seemed to have a little attitude about that. I would like to mention that even if you have gloves on and you touch phones, registers, and wipe crumbs off the counter with said gloved hand the glove is contaminated and dirty. I get it that the person may be tired of changing gloves but Im a food handler also and I know that its best to change the gloves after other activities. Especially at this day and age where I have lost several friends ......... Several due to Covid.Onto the sandwich review. The meat of the sandwich was good quality. Not a whole lot of meat but a sufficient amount. I ordered a turkey with provolone. The vegetables on the sandwich for good and fresh. I had lettuce tomatoes onions and banana peppers. All were fresh. My disappointment in the sandwich was the roll that it was on. I had a sub roll ( hoagie sandwich roll as some say ). The roll to me was horrible. It was a typical white bread type roll which I wouldnt expect from a deli especially in Amish Deli or Store. I couldnt eat the whole sandwich as it was. I will be taking the other half and putting it on a fitting roll. The other employees that I met in the store were very nice. Overall it seems as if they were doing a good job and making sure everything stayed clean. They also had a hand sanitizing station at the entrance of the store.
Cute, small and full of great finds! Best Lebanon bologna! Will have to come back another time instead of close to closing.
My wife, in-laws and I like to take trips here and there to new places and shops we have never been to. Today we decided to travel from Riverview to this place. Was smaller than we expected but the lady at the front counter was very friendly and polite. The same could not be said about the lady behind the deli counter in back who had an attitude and was rude to my in-laws. We will not be returning to this place as we seemed to be an inconvenience to this individual.
What a find! Anyone from northeastern or central Pennsylvania must stop here. Middleswarth chips, Martins chips, Cooper cheese! Bachman Jax! PA Dutch Birch Beer! Kielbasa! Lebanon sweet bologna! Spicy bread and butter pickles. Pierogies. All that was missing was Gertrude Hawk Chocolates :). We will be regulars. Brought home with their fresh bread and had grilled cheese sandwiches with cooper cheese and middleswarth bbq chips for lunch - heaven!
Friendly staff, shelves are always stocked and fair prices. Also gives me memories of home
Great vintage Pennsylvania items if youre from Pa its a must visit. Great sandwiches and nice outdoor eating areas. If you dig eclectic stuff you must check it out.
We do not live as close as we used to so I dont get here as often as I would like. But when I do I stock up on pickled eggs unique sodas cookies dried fruit excetera. And as usual I got a sandwich. The staff was very nice to build my sandwich exactly the way I wanted it. And then the cashier bagged everything the way I requested. Its nice to have people listen to you
Love this place. Nice variety of Pa. Dutch food items that are hard to find in Florida and its so close to the house.
Everyone I take here is thrilled. From finding it in the middle of a beach community to the fun candies and traditional pickled foods, it makes them smile each and every time.
Carries the brands you miss if you came from PA. Grandma Utz, Middlesworth, Whoopie Pies, Kunzler, Seltzers Lebanon Bologna, Turkey Hill Snyders.
My husband and I work over at Largo Med and have been eating lunch here for over a year, they make the BEST sandwiches ever, and have great potato salads, bottled cream sodas, etc! Love this place so much. Recently, we realized when we got home that one of our sandwiches was made wrong (was not a big deal, they rarely make mistakes), and when they heard, they made me another sandwich the next day free of charge. They did not have to do that at all, but the fact that they did shows they really do care about their customers and the integrity of their business. You definitely need to try this place!
I loved this place.I will never step foot in here again. They have 2 lines. Meat and cheese and sandwich counter.I had a full basket, already about 30.00 in it. I stood in line at the meat/cheese counter. The woman behind the counter is skipping past myself and another customer. To a new formed line. No one in line as I walked up to the counter. 1/2 hour goes by. I am disabled standing. Im in pain, but that is normal. The woman finally looks over at me and says if you want anything besides deli, I cant help you.Really ???The snottyness and attitude of this woman.I will never, ever step foot in there again. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for allowing a deli to over run what was a wonderful little store.
Great place. Locals. Small store...Has a lot to offer tho.
I love this country store. I am able to get my favorite Pennsylvania items that I no longer can get.
Wonderful selection of unique, delectable food and gift items.
Good shopping for Pennsylvania Dutch and regional items. Abundance of bulk foodstuffs
Supercool place. Awesome sandwiches with old school sodas! Will definitely be back!
Used to live in Amish Country and this place definitely has the products. Next time will try the deli. Looks like they make sandwiches and lunches.
Being from Amish country in PA this place is awesome. Got my scrapple, beef sticks, and candy just like back home. Glad I stumbled upon this place!
Thomas is a wonderful asset to this store! I cant say enough good things about this place, from the yummy food to the best customer service you will ever have.. anywhere. If you are close by you need to stop in and support this amazing local business.
I just stopped by for their tasteful rye bread but had to get some of the fantastic chicken salad and I found some Rhubarb Preserve and a special Swiss Cheese too
Excellent food and wonderful products to purchase! I would have lunch here every day if I could!
Best chicken salad on the planet. And their sandwiches are super good. Bread is fresh and soft. If you moved here from the Pennsylvania area, youll be able to find many of the items you grew up with - Utz chips, scrapple, sourdough pretzels, sausages. Great place
I love the Amish store its great I wish they would add on to it and make it much more bigger..
So many great foods and snacks to choose from! The sandwiches were absolutely delicious and worth our hour long drive!
Cute little shop. They have a ramp for wheelchair accessibility. It is a small shop so a little tight moving around in some spots. They had lots of candies, breads, crackers, meats, soups and even some old school cast iron pots and pans I believe they were selling.
Truly an amazing place right in our backyard. Treats, freshly made food, and sandwiches. Very nice staff. Thx
Theres things I buy there you cant find anywhere else in Florida
Being from PA, I was a bit skeptical. But I was blown away! Everyone should go!Jan
Been going there for years. Always great quality meats and cheese. Friendly helpful people who work there. Make me feel like Im back home in Pennsylvania.
We are from Lancaster County PA which is Amish country, they have many items from there and will order things for you. We live in Palm Beach County and drive to the store. For us, we love it.
This place is amazing. Been going here for 20 years since I was 8
I love all the products Ican get here from my hometown in PA. I always go for the birch beer and middleswarth BBQ chips. They have really good ham salad!
Very good Martins chips and Turkey Hill tea
Great selection of PA Dutch / Amish foods. Very thoughtful variety.
Great PA Dutch selection...the real deal
As always awesome! We love there hoggies. Lunch meats and cheesees! Thank you for a friendly staff. 😊
Totally impressed, never had i ever visited an Amish country store. Wouldve been nice to sit and eat! But all good! Sandwiches Italian Hoagie was AMISHLY good!😎 The jalapeño eggs in a jar were really really good. Going back for some spicy chips.
Favorite little niche store. Deli is awesome. They have the best chicken salad Ive ever had.
I love this little store!
Cutest little place ever and you can find items they dont carry in grocery store I love going there for sweet lebanon bologna and a nehi peach soda 😋
Super nice people. Good quality items.
This place is absolutely absurd. Forced into hand sanitizer after explaining my sensitivity to such. Disgusted with them and will never get another dollar from my family and friends. I will continue to spread the message
Drove an hour to buy trail bologna. A store packed with lots of goodies!
Fresh and delicious food, the service delightful. The pain relief ointment works wonderfully, malted milk balls are awesomely good.
I love this place. I dont get in as often as I would like but I buy purple popcorn here and I bought a no sugar added butter rum yesterday that is amazing! Masks required and they are being super safe. Thank you!
If you have lived anywhere near Amish communities in PA. .. This is a must stop store. They have many of my childhood favorites available. This is also the only store within hundreds of miles from where I currently live in FL to carry Turkey Hill ice teas.... They are also willing to take orders on some of their products.
Great little Amish Store, not a huge selection but a variety of Amish goods. They do serve food related items in their Deli. Stop in go have a look around . We walked out with a shoo fly Pie and a whoopee pie.
Excellent if you want that old time Amish ambiance. Sandwiches are plentiful
Great store with foods from Amish country I was so happy to find it here in Florida
Awesome selection of products and the best chicken salad I have ever eaten.
Geat atmosphere, great products, and friendly staff. Well be back!
So great to find the wonderful food that I grew on.
Wonderful little store with a deli. The Rumspringer ($9.79), their signature sandwich with secret sauce, beef, turkey, bacon, onions, American cheese, and coleslaw on a focaccia pressed was pretty good. The Italian Hoagie ($6.99) with salami, pepperoni, bologna, ham, provolone cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and Italian dressing was okay and definitely need to be ordered with double meat to get the bread, meat, condiment ration correct. On the way out, be sure to buy the pickle!
Love going here for some of my favorite items from Pennsylvania.
The building looks terrible. It needs some serious sprucing up inside and out. I almost decided to skip it.
Amazing to find this little shop here!!!! Grew up in Pennsylvania!!!!
Who ever just answered was rude on the phone about one question I had..Won’t be trying this place..Work on customer service it’s key for a great business.
Nice place to pick up a sandwich and try out a brand/flavor of soda not from this area. They have a good selection of chips/candy to have with the sandwiches as well - we tend to grab stuff from here for picnicking. Would also recommend the popcorn kernels they carry to take home and cook on your stove or in an air popper as they are much more flavorful than the ones you get from your local chain grocery.
Very clean and organized with kind workers . the cabin sandwiches and pies are GREAT.
What a great find in Fl, i loved the Amish food stores in Ohio. And this one is just as good. Will be back. If tlyour want a great treat, get a whoppie pie, one of the heist I ever had
The staff is friendly and very professional..outstanding customer service!! great food!!
Great place if you like Amish food.
Always get their chef salad. Loaded with lots of goodies! Staff is always friendly. Nice little shop with some interesting finds! Also love that they carry Joes tea!
Very friendly staff, great display of food items. I loved the baked goods.
They have the best cold cuts and special things you cant get in a regular grocery store like limburger cheese, scrapple and their Ham salad is great
Growing up in berks county Pennsylvania, I would always go to Smorgasbords like Shady Maple. I grew to love Amish food. So when I found this little gem I was so excited. You can find Lebanon bologna, scrapple, Good’s chips, pickled everything, pickles, ring bologna, shoofly pie, turkey hill tea, and so much more. Every time I travel to Largo I always stop here and stock up.
They have everything my family needs. And if not they can order it for you and the pharmacy is very on point with my meds.
Im so glad I discovered this place! The food was amazing. Every single thing I bought was out of this world. I cannot wait to try more of their soups and sandwiches. Such a hidden gem!!! Thank you so much :)
Food was delicious, people very friendly!
Hubby and I went there on Saturday. The place was quite busy and most people knew the brands. I did recognize a few from Lancaster, I have been looking for the sweet bologna I remember from my childhood. What I found instead was sweet Lebanon bologna which was a bit smoky but delicious. They do let you taste stuff. Brought home a container of chicken pot pie soup, which hubby devoured. Also real birch beer made him smile even more. There is lots to try. They have cooked lunch/dinner specials that you can take out or eat at one of the wooden picnic tables on the porch. The store is kind of small. Prices are a bit high, but I did expect that.
Coming back strong with merchandise early corona held delivery back a little happy to have my goodies from PA back near me
A great place to take yourself back to a time long ago. I love all the old time sodas and candies. Reasonable prices.
This is a hidden gem of Pinellas County. This has a great supply of Amish goods and a great deli. My mom bought a bike here and she loves it. I highly suggest everybody check this amazing place out. I will visit this place Everytime I come to Largo.
Love this place, been visiting here for years. Lots of food from up north that we grew up on. Their deli selections and homemade foods are incredible! Plus, we love shopping the general store & always leave with bags full of goodies. My advice is to get here early & bring a cooler full of ice to tote home your yummy purchases.
This store has a rustic small town feel. It has a collection of cast iron pans for sale and even an old stove. The sandwiches are great. The Rumspringa is their signature sandwich. Its a pressed warm sandwich full of delicious things like dried beef and turkey. The chicken salad sandwich is amazing as well. I always see folks shopping for deli meat and cheese that are not normally found around town in our local Publix. There are lots of different pretzels, chips and other snacks from the midwest and up north. I was born in Florida so I dont recognize these brands but the people that do know them get excited to see them here and travel to get them here at this store. There is also a selection of frozen and refrigerated items such as scrapple(??), shoo fly pie, and other Amish style treats, as well as some interesting and delicious soft drinks. There is a small area outside to sit and enjoy your food so if you have time to stop and relax you can. Definitely worth a visit.
Wow one word amazing I just went for the 1st time so friendly store makes u feel at home. And the food let me tell you it does not disappoint try the cuban sandwich its a must have. Store is service dog friendly and has handicap accessibility.
Felt good to see brands from Pennsylvania! Thankfully they had sweet Lebanon bologna, also the variety of offerings, soup mixes, spices x and the great list goes on and on
Awesome selection of food imported from the northeastern states! Great deli counter and MTO sandwiches. Love the Martins chips from my hometown!
Great chicken salad, so creamy and taste great!
Such a great little place, one of Largos FINEST HIDDEN GEMS! This place is can be easily missed if your not looking for it, as its disguised as a house with an old farm-like style. There is parking on both sides of the street for this business alone via Pinellas County; but unfortunately people that are going to quest diagnostics for appointments tend to park there even though they have a full parking area, and there are signs not to. This saddens me because I love to see them thrive, and that does hurt the small business. When you first get there you can walk up the side walk to the ramp and theres the front door, to the right there is a porch eating area with picnic tables and umbrellas. There is a second eating area back around the sidewalk and you will find nice glass tables and Antique Amish décor, with subtle music playing. When you walk inside you will be greeted by friendly faces and warm welcoming goodies of all kinds, bringing Amish foods from all over the country; Such as, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, Maine, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, and so on. They make a lot of foods fresh as they have a Deli Full of meats and cheeses from all over the country. They make fresh sandwiches Cold / Toasted / or Pressed, Toasted Salads, Loaded Salads, Macaroni Salad, Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad, Ham Salad, Coleslaws, Dinner meals Hot or Cold, and so much more!!! Specialty Groceries, Canned and pickled goodies, candies galore, I get so hunger when I think of the Amish shop. I love getting the hand made soaps and Amish first aid burn relief as well. The Owners are Tomasz (Pronounce: Tom-ash) and Iwona (Pronounce: Eve-ahna). They are very amazing people and are always aiming to please. Special orders are ordered though them and if you live far away PLEASE call ahead and make sure they have certain items that you may specifically be going for. If you want a large order of meat or cheese or ordering sandwiches for your crew PLEASE call ahead to, This helps them to be a proficient Small Business! :)Come Check them out and spread the word, keep small businesses alive! They have been in business for 30+ years.
Since transplanting from Pennsylvania a few yrars back, I would go back and stock up on my favorite foods and beverages. Then I found this little old store and now I get all my birch beer, Utzs potato chips, Hanover pretzels, Kunzler sweet bologna, pickled eggs and beets, sharp cheeses, and old fashion candies when I go there. Maybe some fresh cooked hot and ready-to-go chicken bott boi (pot pie), pepper slaw, and a Lebanon bologna sandwich on occasion. Love the mini grocery carts and wooden floors.
Love this place ❤, friendly people, great food.
Good service very nice people nice selection great sandwiches good prices
Love this place. If you make the trip definitely get a deli sandwich, an awesome throw back root beer, and some homemade bread. Delicious. I will tell you it’s very narrow and could be crowded and hard to get around but I love coming here. I always get the Amish noodles because nothing in the big stores beat them. They offer foods that you can’t get anywhere else. I love the small, family run business feel. Definitely check it out!!!
This off the beaten path Amish Country Store wouldve gotten 5 stars had even one of its staff members been even slightly welcoming, but alas, not one employee said hello and the guy up front actually seemed annoyed by my presence. Other than that, if youre looking for some truly authentic Amish food products, they certainly have them.
Excellent sandwich
Enjoyed my first trip to the Amish Store. There were lots of interesting grocery items and a great deli.
My family and I went today. We drove from Orlando and we were not disappointed. They obviously had very good Christmas business because they were low on a lot of things but they had enough to satisfy us. The owner went into his freezer to make sure that i could take home all I wanted. I love the ring bologna he has. So they have my business for life. Thank you so much for your help and kindness. Well be back soon!
Its a fun little store to walk around. Being from Maine, I love whoopie pies! I found out that the Amish Store sells them so I go there when the craving strikes! The staff are so nice, friendly and very helpful.
The Reuben sandwich is great the store is very small but its worth checking out
I very much enjoyed my visit to the Amish Country Store. They have a great variety of items to choose from. I especially enjoyed the meat selections.
Fairly small store jam-packed with all sorts of goodies. Nice deli counter with plenty of meats & cheeses. Sandwiches made to order. Canned goods, frozen section, great selection of soda pops & candies. Ring bologna, cheese curds, and shoo-fly pie are some of my favorites. Very friendly staff! Love this place!!!
