We have not purchased much here, but the service we received was excellent. Our son took his electric guitar to our local repair person and they made problems more complicated by disassembling his guitar and returning it to us that way, after several weeks of getting the parts and needing more time. We took the guitar to MVM and the repair technician had it fixed within an hour. I appreciate the work and dedication their staff delivers and I would highly recommend them. One more thanks to the technician, as I appreciate the honesty, integrity and hard work for our son.

Went in a stood waiting for service he asked where is my mask, then I asked him where his was then he put his on and so did i, waited another 10 min while he was talking on the phone to family for him to give customer service! Then he came over ay showed me what I was looking at that was behind the counter, not customer friendly!

Great place to get all your musical gear!

They did a set up on my cheap Firefly FF338 electric guitar and they did an excellent job. The frets were a mess and they made them feel like frets on a more expensive guitar.

This place is great and theyve added a bunch of new stuff to their inventory. The two young guys definitely deserve a raise, I always see them doing something new and they are both extremely nice and engaging, props to them. Overall great experience any time I go there, definitely recommend.

I havent checked out every music store in town yet, but this place tops the list so far. Theres a good amount of nice inventory (new and used). Prices look good. Sr staff was attentive and enthusiastic without being pushy.

Good service

The guitar arrived dirty with rusty strings and buzzing/intonation issues. I reached out to the company(twice before they answered) and they took an entire day to get back to me. They claimed that the guitar was set up and cleaned by the guitar tech before shipment and that this was validated by three store employees. They suggested that the filthy guitar, rusted strings and buzzing issues happened in transit. Their solution was to send me two packs of strings and a cleaning cloth. They were not willing to remedy the issues with the guitar buzzing. Overall my experience with this company was sub-par. Everything about them screams greedy corporation. Sadly I’ve even had better experiences at Guitar Center. It’s already difficult enough buying a guitar online without being able to try it first. I could understand this kind of behavior if I had bought from a pawn shop but this was a music store claiming to be dedicated to quality products and customer satisfaction. Their guitar tech’s level of quality assurance is questionable at best. I would encourage you to be extremely cautious purchasing guitars and other items from them due to inaccurate listing descriptions, lackluster quality assurance and a non-existent customer satisfaction philosophy. Be careful out there! Shame on you Mesilla Valley “Pro” Music!Edit- This company is acting like I fixed this guitar before they had the opportunity to remedy the situation but this is a lie. I contacted them to fix the issues as soon as I received the guitar. I asked them to pay for a setup and they kept giving me a blanket statement of “I’m sorry but we don’t pay for unauthorized repairs.” They were quick to gaslight me and make me the one at fault for performing an unauthorized repair(which never happened) in order to avoid repairing the issue at hand. They do not care about their customers and they do not back their products! Avoid this company at all cost!

I recently purchased a guitar off of Reverb from Mesilla Valley. It was in top notch shape! The customer service was amazing. I was having a few concerns as I dont like to purchase stuff online but the person that handles the online sales helped me through all of it. I honestly was probably a little annoying with how much messaging back and forth with the guy but he always remained very professional and kind and even called me to alleviate some concerns I had. The guitar arrived and looked even better than it did in photos and they even sent it in a free gig bag even though it didnt advertise one! These guys are super awesome and are doing great things. Please dont hesitate to try them! Cant wait to rock out on my new Squire!!!!!!

I stopped by this place to buy a new amp recently, I walked around the store for about 20 minutes nobody even said hello to me, so I left and drove to El Paso and bought my new amp at Guitar Center. I prefer to buy local buy that day they must not have wanted my business.

Really nice folks running this store. I remember being unimpressed with the acoustic guitar brands sold there: mediocre, uninspiring instruments (Fender and Yamaha as I recall). I cant recommend the models sold there to anybody who wants a really nice instrument. But, for beginners a guy could do a lot worse than Yamaha or Fender (and a lot better! LOL). If they got just 1 good brand it would really bump this place up in my opinion (Taylor makes some great, budget instruments, for example).They also sell banjos (Fender - ugh), drums, and other stuff. Gotta dock em 2 stars for the guitar selection, but not a bad little music shop.

You know, Id love to spend my money here, but none of you have the decency to say hello, nor can you provide any knowledge on the product. But you CAN sit and stare from across the room. Cool.

Selection is limited, and what is there is either overpriced or low quality instruments and accessories. Employees were rude and impatient, including what seemed to be the manager. They dont seem to understand that playing an instrument is the only way to see if its actually worth owning.

They are wonderfully organized here and can help with just about anything! My family always comes here whenever we need anything musical, including the great music stand we just got for a great price!

Compare prices with Hubbards Music on watt drive, they have better prices then Mesilla Valley Music, youll see. Worst customer service at Mesilla valley music! I took my accordian to get repaired and they charged me $34.66 and didnt fix it. They told me they would give me a refund. I spoke to the accounting dept and she said i should have got my refund. Then they called and said I cant have my refund. SID SAID, I CANT HAVE A REFUND THATS THEIR POLICY. They have been in business 34 years and their staff does not know the rules about refunds. Just a greedy busines.I will never return. I will continue to shop with Hubbards music on wyatt drive, save money and 100% better customer service!
