It was my first time going to DAM Ammo.Overall they have great customer service very helpful. Fully stocked up on what I was looking for.A fine selection of everything you possibly would need. Best of all Fourth of July weekend they offered 10% off all ammunition that was just a plus.So for the future I will definitely be going back to DAM ammo and highly recommend everyone looking for supplies for target practice or personal defense also pay a visit to the great people at DAM Ammo.

I have been here 3 times, each time calling beforehand. They always answers the phone and are helpful. I have bought a used rifle, ammunition, and used magazines from here. Their prices are fair, and the guys in the shop are friendly and knowledgeable, not stuck up like a lot of gun shops are these days. Best shop in the area, worth stopping by.

Called three times in three days to make sure before I drove 1.5 hrs that they had the ammo I needed and they assured me they did. Upon arriving they stated they had ammo but it wasn’t packaged correctly so they couldn’t sell it to me. I asked if I could wait for them to package it and they said no. Very arrogant and not helpful at all.

The prices are the best in town but the workers act like they are sum badass’s with a 9 or 45 on there belt a gun doesn’t make you a man

Had a few rounds they loaded themselves fire incorrectly and get stuck in the gun. Dangerous. In addition no one is wearing a mask inside, staff or customers. If they were it hung around their chin. Family member is high risk, we won’t be returning.

Great place to buy a firearm. My wife & I went in to buy a good concealed carry handgun and we got the best service you can ask for. The owner & the workers showed us their recommendations and they even let us try out the gun before we bought it. Will definitely be returning to buy my next firearm in the future.

First time gun owner, at previous places I was looking I instantly felt intimidated either from my lack of knowledge or the associates demeanor when I asked questions that maybe a seasoned gun owner would know. Thatwas not the case at D.A.M. Ammo. They prioritize safety making sure before I walked out of there I felt comfortable handling the gun I would be purchasing. At the time there was high volumes of people going in and Justin still took me out to the range to practice my stance, safety and firing. I have nothing but great things to say about this establishment. They all were very knowledgeable with an eagerness to answer any questions I had. After going to every other place in town including Cabelas in northern N.M. I have to say they have the best customer service!

Paul is a great guy. Very knowledgeable and willing to explain various details about a firearm, holster, ammo, etc. He has some great deals on used magazines, holsters, plus more. The staff is down to earth and friendly. You dont feel like you are being pressured to buy something because they want to make a sale. It is a very laid back and helpful environment.

Small place but with a good variety of stuff. On site range and gunsmith plus a knowledgeable staff. A little out of the way but worth the drive.

This place is probably my go to for purchasing. The range seems fun but Ive never been considering when i spend a day at the range I use my rifle and handguns. (range is pistols only). I was purchasing my rifle for the first time I did a lot of research and couldnt decided (I wanted cheap reliable and to build up). I went in they didnt have much in stock but informed me they were going to get some Diamondback in that day or the next day. Offered me one instantly for lower then listed price and wall price. It was not a scam (I checked prices for the gun online) it was a pretty good deal excluding buds/sportsmansguide (they dont include shipping and fees in price online until checkout). They always have some form of deals going on whether it be knocking off a few bucks for ammo/magpul stuff I always check here first before going anywhere else. When purchasing my firearm I was given a breakdown of how to clean and disassemble the gun. Even got some free ammo. This place is great would recommend and is my primary store.

Very cool group of guys at this shop. Last time I was here, I took in a rifle to have a part swapped out for an upgraded part (it was a process I didnt have the proper tools for). As the work was being done, a local Sheriff that was browsing the wares complimented me on my rifle case sitting on the counter. I started talking with him about it, and one of the employees behind the desk took a big handful of their reloaded ammunition and dumped it in one of the cases pockets. Oops!, he said. It was the excess from a run of ammo theyd recently loaded, and he gave me fifteen or twenty rounds for free.The work they did on my rifle turned out to be really inexpensive, and I also bought some of their remanufactured ammo in addition to the freebie cartridges they gave me. Havent had a chance to fire it yet, but it looks like very clean, nicely assembled, reloaded ammunition. (They also sell cheap, reloaded tracers once the rainy season starts). Overall, Im very impressed with DAM. Its definitely worth chatting with their staff - theyre friendly, knowledgeable, and likable gun guys. Its a very home town kind of feel... too bad theyre not located in my home town!
