Prety good place and and good variety as well, just a bit of a drive from El Paso. Other than that you can find just about any type of planters youd need.

I can always find great deals here and friendly people. They are the best prices I have found in our area and will return time and again for more pottery. We have also bought firewood and they delivered it to us.

I would have given this place a five star rating but when I went to check out theres a sign and they confirmed that they charge 4% if you use a credit card or debit card. Luckily I had the cash on hand and did not have to be held hostage. There was a lot of ceramic pottery to choose from and it look like there was more firewood than they knew what to do with

With a name like Quality Firewood & Materials it does not sound like a very interesting place to visit! Boy, would you be wrong! If you are looking for stone, fountains, rocks, outdoor fireplaces, and of course wood this has to be your first stop.I love to stop by just to see what they have that is new in stock!You will see that I have added an old Mexican door that I purchased there that we refinished to give it a distressed, yet modern look to an addition to our home. I also added a picture of a vase at the entrance to our home that has a raku look!Next time you are looking for design ideas for indoors or out you must add this stop to your list!

They gots the wood, man!I use their dry, easily accessible pecan wood to smoke meat. Lots of outdoor decor, chimanias, fountains, pots, etc...

Always interesting, always helpful. purchased items three weeks in a row. they even stayed 30 min past closing g while loading was finished-on a Saturday!

I bought some flagstone for my backyard project and the price was fair. I bought about 10 large flagstone for about $100. They told me the price varied between $0.19 to $0.22 per pound. And I was really happy with the selection. I will return as they have a lot of great stuff to choose from

This year I was VERY VERY disappointed with the firewood they cut the logs big guess to fill crates with less, and the logs dont burn they turn black and VERY SMOKEY. 😔 Waste of money i dont have. I always buy my wood here sad I might have to look for another place.

I ordered a cord of oak delivered on two pallets with fork lift. I was told the wood was well seasoned and ready to burn. I received a mix of rotten and unseasoned non-oak wood dumped in my front yard. Unseasoned wood will not even burn. I will never use this business ever again. Bunch of lazyass liars.

We have purchased many, many beautiful plant pots here. They have the best selection and prices! We also purchased flagstone to surround our raised in-ground pool and the colors and prices were fantastic. We also purchased veneer rock for our raised pool and they had the best quality and pricing compared to everyone else in Las Cruces. Friendly owner and very helpful staff make it a pleasure to do business with them. Highly recommend.

Great customer service Josiah is very helpful and knowledgeable about the product. In years past I have felt with the owner who has been just as helpful but as of recently I have seen his health decline rapidly. I hope the best for qfm.

I picked up some pots yesterday from Quality Firewood, and am very pleased. They have a huge selection; many of their pots are like nothing Ive seen elsewhere -- unique colors and shapes. What impressed me is the quality. These pots wont chip or crack easily. Im so glad to put my favorite cacti in pots that can take the Las Cruces heat and sun.

They do a great job for such a small staff. They were pretty busy the day I went there to order wood and were patient with my fiancé and I even though we had no real idea of what we wanted. Ended up ordering 1/4 Juniper and 1/4 Cedar. The guy showed up on time and unloaded it right where I needed with their dump truck. The wood is great and can’t wait to burn it. My neighbor seemed a little jelly because it’s good wood that smells great.

Came down from Cloudcroft today for pecan firewood. They sell full cords full half and full qtr cords. Love it. Getting my firewood from them from now on. Pecan burns great.

Called on March 28th to place an order for 15 railroad ties to be delivered in Las Cruces. My call was taken immediately when calling, however, I was told, Only the owner can place this order, he will call you back. I waited until April 1st with no call so I decided to follow back up. I spoke with the same gentleman and he informed me they were very busy right now. I asked, OK, then who else can place my order other than the owner? he replied, no one. Basically, I was told no one can help you and we will get back to you at some point. As of today, it is April 15th and I still havent received a phone call. I ultimately decided to use another vendor and I will NEVER give any money to this business. Hope your experience is better than mine!

Ordered firewood for delivery and they never showed, wouldnt answer the phone and had not set up a voicemail, so you couldnt leave a message. Called for two days, so I guess Ill have to drive up there to find out the status of the order.

I have purchased outdoor pots of various sizes for years from Michael and the quality and price cannot be beat. Years later the pots are as good as the day I brought them home while pots purchased at other places have fallen apart.

Service was horrible. We went looking for some flagstone and found some pieces we liked but the pieces were in a new pallet. They would not open the pallet for us and said we had to select from the scraps from the pallets that were already opened. So we took our business somewhere else.

Went into the store day before yesterday and despite an amazing selection of goods the gentleman behind the desk didnt seem to eager to help. We needed flag stone and found out that because we werent taking a full pallate there was an up charge. No big deal, I get it. We spend about 250 on half a pallate of flagstone. He loads with his fork and we are in our way.We get the flagstone home and laid down and love it! But we didnt get enough by half. I had to work today so my wife went in today to get the other half (at this point a full pallate) which we were up charged for again because he had to break another pallate. He picks up the pallate with his fork lift puts it on the scale and tells my wife to just onload it until the scale read what ever amount (not sure what). So if you want to get over charged and have to load up your own rock after spending a weeks pay with these people just head on over!In response to the business owners response: Honestly it wasnt so much the price as the service. My wife and kids disagree that Josiah did most of the work. They both said he helped a little but motley stood there and watched the scale while my wife loaded most of it. Just sayin.
