Good for low balling everywhere else except for this place to sell your used batteries. I could only imagine how much it would be to purchase one.

They do car & truck batteries and quick installs. Their generic brand saved me more than half. You can even buy refurb batteries here though not my preferred choice.

Steve seems to be the smart one if you have problems but anyone there will replace ANY battery, this place has been around 30 years roughly. Very reliable.

Shelton Battery is the only place I go to for refurbished batteries. Went in, they checked my car out, paid, got my battery installed in exactly 5 minutes and was good to go! Robert was really nice too! Friendly staff and they have great prices, way to go!I have a 90 day warranty on my reconditioned battery and when I get I come back to get a brand new battery, I only pay the difference. Trust me, don’t go anywhere else.

If I could I’d give a 0 star rating! So Rude! This place has horrible customer service skills. I live about 10 minutes away, they close at 5 and it was 4:45 on a Friday. I specifically called this place and asked if I could really quickly run in and grab a battery, I knew exactly what I was getting and one of the girls said they would wait for me since they’re closed for the weekend and I wouldn’t be able to get it until Monday. Again they told me they would wait for me and I had to pay card not cash because it was right before closing. I got down there at 4:58 and one of the guys kicked me out told me they’re closed, I told them I was the one who called and said you guys said you would wait for me, and he pretty much told me too bad you need to get out. It’s was 4:58 grabbing one thing in knew exactly what I was getting, technically they’re still open, but I still got refused service. This place is a joke.

Got my used battery. Customer service was a ZERO. I went in with my 3 kids and husband and I (the wife) went to go pay with my debit card and was yelled at by the man at the counter where they have the computers at to “GO PAY AT THE WINDOW!” my oldest child is 9! Youngest 5! Paid $50 for a used battery. Reasonable prices. Bad service. I’ll be going elsewhere next time.

Robert was kind of quick and very professional to check my battery fully tested and replace it free of charge because it was still within warranty. These are fantastic people to work with and I recommend highly buying a battery from here. They have great prices and their staff is awesome

Purchased a used battery, Appeared to reconditioned well, labels are removed think it came with 30 day warranty, it was installed for free and the terminals were cleaned and old battery was removed for free (no core charge). Pretty straight forward process.. Id buy another from them.. probably will for my truck..

I love to support Mom & Pop shops!! Its the American Way!! Customer 30+yrs. Reconditioned batteries for my truck & van are about $45. Usually keeps em going at least 2-3yrs. Friendly customer service, usually greeting me outside at my vehicle.

This is an independent business that has survived for a long time because they do one thing and do it well: batteries. Fast, friendly service, good prices. If it’s a battery, they’ve got it.Fully recommended. Consumer friendly.Edit: The used battery I bought lasted exactly a month. Not worth the drive to warranty it. Stars reduced to three.

I brought bunch of old batteries to recycle and recoup some of the long term investment. I was quoted one price when batteries where on my truck but after they unloaded the batteries and when it was time to pay they significantly reduced the price they were willing to pay (down to 8 cents a pound from 10 cents a pound they promised initially). The employee’s explanation was that it was boss’ call to reduce the offer. It left a really bitter taste and will not do business with them anymore. The cashier was super rude when I tried to complain about the bait and switch.Zero stars since it was a nasty move on their part.

This is the only place in town to get a battery!! If they dont have the battery in stock, wait for one to come in. Itll only take a day or two but it will be worth the wait. great people and service

Great prices very friendly but I dont think its very professional to put political signs and stickers in the customers view, I dont want to see what political party or candidate youre voting for Im there to give you business and possibly be a future customer. Besides that the store was cleaned I arrived 30 mins before they closed on a Friday so I understand everyone being tired and not having energy to write my receipt promptly. I think it took the one guy longer to do my receipt than it did the other guy to give me the battery and clean it For me 😂😂

Picked up a battery today. Gentleman walked to my car, grabbed my old battery for me, brought me a new(used) one immediately and checked me right out. Great fast service. I installed my battery and it works perfectly.

My husband, who is a black man went into this store to buy a very common battery. To keep it short he said he felt invisible. Waited while several patrons were helped before him who had obviously come in after he did, staff all the while knowing he had been waiting. When finally they got to him he asked if they had 2 very common batteries, guess what, they supposedly didnt have them. Took his business elsewhere as he should of. My husband never complains about anything, so I know he had to have been pretty blatantly ignored to say something. Horrible service and the staff should be ashamed. Zero stars from us.

Called they said they had the battery I needed.. I arrived at the location (not the house on Google maps) .. Explained what I needed the guy looked it up, tested battery before installing, I paid the cashier, he removed the old one and installed the new one.. Done and Done..
