Dont know wha people are raving about when it comes to this location!!!! The female manager with the blonde curly hair is very rude to drivers. Being an owner operator sometimes i need to park and drop the trailer and go do my shopping. I stopped here paid for a reserved spot then the manager i mentioned rudely lied to me and told me it was against the law in that county to drop trailers. I called the county sheriff and he told me she was lieing to me. Went in to talk to her again she rudely told me she didnt have time to talk to me and was sick and tired of answering the same questions all truck drivers ask. Multiple managers keep giving the same lie and wanting to argue about the fact that it is the law and it is not. Basically they say that law enforcement does not know the law and isnt that what they do for a living.... This pilot flying J is also very dirty and unclean. The bathrooms were not tended too by pilot policy for hours i went in the womens room and the pitvures attached were of the restroom tgrough all shift..the morning shift did decide to empty the big trash cans and pick up the toilet paper off the floor without making sure the toilet flushed nothing ever smelled freshly cleaned the feminie trash cans in the stalls are still overflowing and nasty never gets emptied. You may just get sick here if not with covid with something else ... we have left this location and gone to the vanco truck stop 5 miles up the road where there is no issues with anything i need or want to do.

This is saved in my favorites! Plenty of parking space, great coffee, fresh food, friendly employees, a Cinnabon, clean showers & they are all big. No complaints whatsoever. kudos to Management and the employees! 🙌👍👍

The worst Flying J truck stop. Bad attitudes and rude staff. All I ask was how old the pizza was because it was sitting out and looked dryed up and stale. Plus parking here is ridiculous. Almost half this place is paid spots. $18 bucks to park.

New shower policy is ridiculous, have be coming here for a few years of and on. Never had any issues, i could understand closing the showers completely due to covid but to just block one specific customer group because you dont drive a 18 wheeler is discrimination. This was my go to stop in this area, but i will venture elsewhere with my money.

I stepped inside and received a glorious slap in the face!! I kept thinking, is this a flying j or a different stop. The establishment was very clean. I checked out the coolers and shelves, fully stocked. They have a variety of foods which other locations dont have. The staff was helpful and beautiful. I have a single word to describe this location- WOW. As you can see by pictures, this cant be a flying j. Keep up the exceptional work!! I was here few weeks ago and you have returned, the establishment is still maculate as you walk in. Staff is real good with customer service. Recently, I gave this location 5 stars, well, they rose the standards, this is ultimately the first time, I gave a truck stop more than 5 stars- giving this establishment 6 stars. I hope they keep up exceptional work. Only one thing they need to emphasize, greet their customers when walking in.

This is truck stop right ? They have no cargo straps and no load blocks lady who help me out had a terrible attitude about it..out all the truck stop I had to stop at this one .....bad service.

This. Flying J has just opened at few months ago last year. Their buffet of different ontrays are nice! Loved the Pot Roast! Theres also a Laundry area at $2.50 Washer/Dryer with a large screen TV. Overall this place is spotless, right off the I-5. The down side, is The train at night when sleeping. Heres some pictures.....Enjoy!

This is a great truck stop to go to, I highly recommend to visit this stop if you are a trucker. They have machines that fresh grind coffee and brew it as fresh as it can ever get. The bathrooms are among the cleanest I have ever seen at a gas station as well.

I absolutely avoid this Flying J unless absolutely necessary. The parking lot is small and designed so bad that on most occasions it takes way to long to get in and out.

The new no shower unless you drive a truck policy is very discriminatory. I am a professional driver delivering puppies across the country but because i dont drive a truck i cant get a shower thats just wrong. Not every professional driver drives a truck.

Had to stop and air up a dangerously low tire. I needed $2 change for the air machine. Jacqueline the cashier refused my request. Is this corporate policy to deny help to customers on the road? My god, I will never EVER bother your sorry excuse for a busy again.

Thursday 5/20/21 10:10 AM to 10:25AMI stood in line for 10 minutes waiting for the kid working the register near the pizza. After he finished with the person in line in front of me he completely ignored me and walked over to helpa group of people who just walked in the door and when i said something he lies snd said they were here before me but i was standing there for ten minutes and i watched this group of people walk in the door!! Management needs to fire this kid because if he treats truckers who spend tens of thousands of dollars EACH month like this than they will lose a lot of money!I suggest if you read this that you should recognize and go to the truck stops where they LOVES their customers and dont treat you like SH!T and charge you 150% the price they charge where they Loves you!

Showers are exclusively for truck drivers. Road trippers and locals with plumbing emergencies would have better luck at Loves off 99 in Ripon

Abandoned vehicles removed, and more show up in their place. Ive had to spend the night here all week and Ive been staring at the same abandoned vehicles every day. I get here, there they are. I leave and run my route, then come back. There they are. Not to mention the usual group of weirdos and vagrants that seem to have claimed this as their base of operations. At least the local drivers have stopped leaving their rigs here. Probably because the abandoned vehicles and weirdos take up all the spaces.Once again, this is a disappointment. Now, in addition to vagrants and abandoned vehicles, bobtail trucks are no longer allowed to park in the front lot. There are no open stalls in the CMV lot. I understand there is limited space here and the lot attendant is simply doing his job. However, it hardly seems reasonable to look the other way with a lot full of vehicles and an empty store. Not to mention the homeless and vagrants living in the parking lot. Why is no one giving these people a hard time?And now... a homeless family complete with small children has taken up residence in the drivers lounge. I suppose there are worse places, and it is supposed to rain tonight. But, this is hardly the environment for small kids beyond a bathroom stop.

The night manager was rude to me and my girlfriend. She really needs to work on management skills. First ever finding out the laundry closes at 10pm

Everything is good with place except every single time I fill up for gas, at least once a week, there is never any receipt paper at the pump!! Then you have to go inside wait in line to get one. Somebody isnt doing their job. Ridiculous

This is the best Flying J in California it has big bathrooms its so clean and it has friendly stuff in here. This is brand new Flying J in California but there is a train ttack near it so it is not good for sleeping here because the train horns blow whole night.

Small parking but truck stop is nice and clean. It’s a busy truck stop. The only problem I had was trying to connect to their premium internet, I was not able to connect from the parking lot, the wifi is only available close to the main building.

If we could give 0 stars I would. So understand we expected to have limited food on Thanksgiving but the quality of the food should not sacrifice because of the day. We purchased 23.00 for chicken wings and tenders and pizza. We would have been better to buy a chew toy or leather. Not only were they cold, dry, and flavorless but ended up making me feel Ill. Were out here working and this is the thanks they show. Disappointing to say at the very least. We will have to choose TA moving forward.!!!

For this area it has decent truck parking. No bobtail out front. More of a selection of hot foods than just pizza... tip the shower cleaners

I decided to get a meal of Meatloaf macaroni and cheese and broccoli. I was a little worried but man this is good! The broccoli tastes like its made with butter garlic and lemon, theres a sweet and tangy sauce on the meatloaf, and the macaroni and cheese is very creamy and tasty... I cant get enough of this LOL*mwah*(chefs kiss)

A very clean & friendly stop.Not even a California friendly tongue in cheek comment but actually friendly.I didnt need to park but at 120pm on a Friday it was getting to capacity. I imagine itll be completely full before 2pm.

Brand new and a very modern truck stop, gas price is very good and lot of options for food and they make very good sandwiches as well, neat &clean restroom and lotta area to sit and eat, keep it up

I fueled up on 5/18/21 drove to Bloomington, CA and then back up to Turale, CA. Now my feul filters have a green solid mater in them.

I realize this is a small truckstop and drivers are always in a hurry but for crying out loud can you please stop the rush. Not only is it poor customer service but its seems inconsiderate.

I am a traveler and I stopped their to get a shower and the staff said I couldnt use it unless I have a truckers card. Later on I find out that you dont need one all you have to do is ask if you can shower pay for it then all good, all I wanted was to shower.

Brand new facility everything is clean employees are super friendly, right off highway 5 easy on easy off. If you plan to park it is a little tight.

6:15 pm ... Clean restaurant and restrooms. However, the old lady brunette(hair in a bun) cashier in the grey coat was super rude during my purchase. Then, after my transaction was complete she didnt give me the receipt making it difficult to receive our blended coffee order...the other young man and young lady attendent were both very helpful..After all this, the original employee, was sent on break or something, as she was made to leave the register.

First time ever being rushed out of shower by employee cleaning showers. Employee hollering through occupied door, telling me and other drivers, if we want to take a long shower, go to hotel. Very rude, unprofessional!! Must be nice to rush us drivers out of our only showering options when your employees can go home and shower without anyone banging on their door, hollering to get out. Wont be back and calling corporate right now to lodge a formal complaint.

Every time I stop my truck on this place and ordering food is SERIOUSLY BEST “FLYING J” in USA and Canada.... hope someone from flying J was really read what customers writing about people who work for Pilot or Flying J ..... Lady who working today December first 2020 in kitchen afternoon shift was person who deserves all the best what one person can get like reward for his work with customers ... !!!! Huge deference was between ppl who working... in other shifts behind counter have very meaning and bad service, specially when working one tall white women she’s don’t have any respect to customers and employees who working with customers ... sometimes send some ppl deferred outfits and you can see how she’s treating ppl .... but forget about her now I want give 10+ star for kitchen lady !!!!

Been here multiple times. Can only find parking in the morning and they used a piece of diamond plate to cover a busted Storm drain and it punctured some poor guys fuel tank. Other than that great place always busy 24/7 non stop trucks in and out.

Been here all day. The bathroom wasnt cleaned once. Parking lot is small, not sure whats up with the massive hole on the ground near the front.I give it three for dirty, but the first two cashiers I dealt with today were very sweet and obviously did there best to accommodate the rush of customers.Plus the food was yummy.

Don’t buy SubWay from here bad girls working here don’t talk properly very lazy to work manager needs to look.. I don’t think they are listening to their manager either. If you don’t trust me go there n order food you will know what I’m talking!!!

With the lack of truck stops in California, I was happy to find one near my pickup. However, I was told the laundry closes at 10pm. Y’all are open 24 hours. But no laundry? That’s ridiculous!

Hard to find parking space all day specially afternoon. The store looks clean and shiny but not the bathrooms or the shower rooms. Broken water faucet & now is the surprise cockroach in the shower room.

Why would you put the TV on the side where the sun goes down so the suns in your eyes and you cant watch the TV pretty effing stupid

No truck parking (other than reserved spots) at 3:00 pm. Ive used the scale here before and also couldnt find a place to park. Fuel lines were backed up so I didnt even stop (bc no parking) go into the store. Id stay away from this one unless youre desperate.

Good place good location but if you are looking to end up your shift here then good luck for parking spot .even day time. Its noon now and its all full. Very Limited parking spot n tight if new driver.

First I want to take a minute to thank the girls (and guys) who work in this store - who were working today when I came in around 10:45am. The store was clean and nice, and even though the girls I talked to were maybe a bit tired from an early morning shift start, they were still courteous and helpful, and that is very, very much appreciated. Thanks guys for coming in and working and helping. It makes a big difference.--Earlier I gave this store 2 stars for no mask enforcement. The July Fourth holiday this year and this kind of thing, not wearing masks / not enforcing are the very things that got us in big trouble the second half of this year (2021). As of October the numbers are getting better, but thats when we have let our guards down in the past and we get right back into trouble. Do you know that there are more deaths in 2021 than there were in 2020 from Covid-19? Do you know that covid-19 is the third leading cause of death in the United States behind heart disease and cancer - ahead of car accidents and other leading causes? Everybody needs to take this seriously or were just going to keep playing with it, going up and down and up and down and remaining stressed for longer.Im Out.

Best place

Parked on the end at 4pm because there were no parking spots, not even reserved. Sat for an hour to see that it was safe. No one had any difficulty getting by me even at the busiest times. I get a knock at 1am telling me I had to move because this was not a legal spot and people couldnt get by me. There was hardly anyone driving in the parking lot. If I was in the way they would have let me know much earlier.

This is by far the best gas station Ive ever been too!! Super clean, so many foods to choose from. The bathrooms have two different kinds of soup!! The soda machine have coke and Pepsi. They have showers and laundry that you can use!! If you need a good refresh stop here !

I hope to never have to return to this location. Bobtails all over the place . Majority of others are reserved. Customer service is good but showers could definitely be cleaner. Small property for such a busy location for tired travelers in need of rest, shower and hospitality

Our experience there was really good. Nice showers, decent parking, clean bathrooms.. Until we ordered food. A woman named Melanie stepped in every time we ordered like she didnt trust the other employees. I wanted a chocolate milkshake with strawberry flavoring added to it but there wasnt any option for it so I asked one of the employees if she could do that for me and she said yes. Melanie made the shake for me but it was just a strawberry shake. I tell the other one I wanted chocolate. She remakes it for me no problem as I hear Melanie complaining about how Id have to get charged like a dollar more. Second time we went in we wanted the breakfast wraps with potatoes added to it buy there wasnt an option. So, again we asked a different employee if that was possible and she said that would be okay. She didnt even start making the wraps and Melanie stepped in and she told me itd be 3 dollars extra just for the side to put into the wrap... Without even asking if I was okay with that she just ordered it through the kiosk. Every other employee was really nice, but she just looked grumpy. I can understand if shes a manager, but she shouldnt be so b*tchy to customers.

Just had a family emergency and staff was exceptional with helping us respond to it. Everything turned out alright in the end while we thanked them over and over. They were very happy to help and professional about it. Glad to see people care about strangers so much and immediately jump in to help so fast. My son always stops at this Flying J when passing through California. Its always clean and well taken care of. Its not often he is here but when he is he prefers to stay here.

Im giving 1 star on the parking. 40% of parking is always occupied by bobtail trucks. Should have a sign that restricts them from parking in the truck/trailer parking area. Especially when you have limited parking to begin with. Its much easier to park a bobtail truck anywhere else then it is for a truck/trailer. Maybe someday I will be able to rate the store if I can ever get in and park.

Ive yet to have a positive experience at this Flying J. They seem to get very irritated if you want to purchase food without touching their unsanitary touchscreens to order. Thank you but Ive seen how many drivers actually wash their hands after using the restroom.Today we purchased a team shower. A while later we noticed that there were five open showers and no one working to get them clean. I asked the two ladies at the counter if they could get someone to clean them. The large blond girl seemed irritated at the request. She told me they were cleaning them and they were folding towels. About six or seven minutes later two more patrons left the showers. That left them with nearly all of their showers available but not cleaned. Again I approached the counter and asked if they could get people to stop folding towels and clean the showers. I dont know about them, but I have deadlines to make. This time a large blond girl rolled her eyes and then remain silent for a moment to think of something snarky to say. Her response, Well, do you want clean towels? Im not sure how long she thinks it takes to fold two towels but Im fairly certain in the time we were standing there I could have folded 35 or 40 towels.All in all this place isnt bad but the management needs to be replaced with management that holds their employees accountable

Totally new level of Flying J truck stop!!! Now I want to come to Stockton just to visit it 😁, just kidding........ But It is the best one I have ever seen.... PJs kitchen surprised me with the freshness of the food.If you guys will do this all over the country then all trucking business will be yours....

Wow! I used to swear by TA, but once I entered a flying J, I will always pick them first. Great selection. Huge parking spots for truck and trailer. Sparkling clean store and restrooms. Super Friendly staff!! They know youre in the road and they appreciate you stopping in.

So happy this place opened up. I wasnt really excited about the different food because Im a big fan of their food at other locations, but the new stuff is really, really good. And the people are awesome, every person Ive met has been cool. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Very disappointed in the rude and disrespectful treatment I received from Pete, so called manager, at the counter. I went in to speak with him about a situation that happened in the parking lot and instead of listening to what I had to say he just continued to over talk me, disregard what I was saying and then look over my shoulder and step aside to try to assist the person behind me. I told him I am a customer here and I deserve his undivided attention and that he needs to listen to what I have to say. He said that he has other customers to attend to. I reminded him that I am his customer to and that the person behind me, who wasnt there at the beginning of our conversation, has to wait just like I had to wait. How VERY unprofessional, rude and disrespectful.Other areas that need to be addressed are:There needs to be space available for bobtail parking. Come on really, you cant make some room in front??Vagrants hassling people for money at the fuel pump for over an hour. Red suv parked right in fuel isle while two people from the vehicle went around hassling people for money.What I want to know is why are truckers getting the short end of the stick at your establishment?? We patronize your store and bring goods to your establishment. But there seems to be a limit on your hospitality here.

Clean showers, clean restrooms. Forget eating here. Its serve yourself kiosks where they pick and choose what hours they work and when they serve food. They dont have it posted. Its typical over priced food for doing your own ordering. These prices should come with a sit down wait staff opportunity.

Small parking lot for semis and train track near by so kinda of loud but the showers are up to date with good water pressure, which is always nice.

The parking for the truckers could have been a better set up, be ready to do blind side parking, the store clean, the showers very nice and clean, the staff very polite and respectful.

Came in for a shower after a particularly difficult day just to be greeted by snotty staff. We had to wait for a shower, not because they were all occupied, but because no one was back there to clean them. When we asked what was going on, we got very crappy responses from the staff. Then when they finally did clean the showers, the one I got wasnt even clean, there was still remnants of the last persons shampoo in the shower AND they didnt even put towels in the shower room. I had already asked for an extra towel so at least I didnt have to go encounter the snotty staff yet again. All in all a terrible experience here.

Seems to be fairly new. But if the staff doesnt keep up with the cleanliness of the ladies room it will go down the drain soon. Young ladies at the registers were rude for the most part. Train runs by every so often and blows its horn. So if your a light sleeper beware. Very little truck parking. Should offer different food choices. But hey its Cali, you cant expect much. Overall the facility is nice. Hopefully it remains that way.

Local area truck drivers use as a personal parking lot for their trucks parking empty truck in lot for days on end. Also they parking in reserved spots just pull in park in reserved spot dont pay get in a car take off. Also a lot locals and vagrants allowed to sit in drivers lounge also allowing locals use showers when long line for showers. Seen local hookers being allowed purchase and use showers. Also a lot vagrants and localsbothering truckers for money

Met my friend and her one year old Grandson at the flying J in Lathrop for Breakfast as it is directly across the street from where I pick up my Load after spending $50.00 for Breakfast and cinnabons and another $50.00 for gas for her car we were their 45 minutes the Manager came over to our table and told us we had to leave we had been their to long and someone had complained that the baby was making noise. This was embarrassing and humiliating for both me and my friend This is not a restaurant its a food counter that sells over priced fast food by ordering on a computer screen with a few tables in the truck stop if you have small children keep them out of this place! After buying Thousands of Dollars worth of fuel snacks and electronics from the Flying J for 28 years Im all done with them I had to give them one star to post shouldnt get half a star.

The place is very clean and the food is good. If you purchase more than 2 or 3 items you need to take your own bag inside so you can carry everything at once. This must be a stupid west coast demoncrap thing because once you leave the west coast all of the other pilot/flying j stores put your products into a plastic bag. Stop being CHEAP and start back flying the American Flag.

There are too many bobtail parked in regular truck parking. The staff needs to enforce bobtail to double park in a regular parking spot. HALF OF THE PARKING LOT IS FULL OF BOBTAILS.

Always full pizza is always ultra thin crust with little toppings. Verizon signal is ok. Staff is usually friendly.

Really bad service here. I was told eld could be returned within 7days. Went back to return next day and she said elds are not returnable. Even though she signed receipt when I purchased it Incase we had any issues. They could use 10 times the amount of parking they have and still fill up with trks.Fuel Islands were clean theres 9 or 10 pumps store was clean rest rooms were clean showers were clean and very nice and roomy love the idea of the PJ Grill and the food was phenomenal had Biscuits gravy sausage patties scrambled eggs and home fried potatoes made in a cast iron skillet but I guess maybe Im past my use-by date because I dont think you should have to stand in line order your breakfast on a computer then stand in line to get your ticket then go over to the fuel desk to pay for your breakfast by the time I was done with the whole Fiasco I was ready to reach across the grill grab the cast iron skillet and Pummel that computer to a pulp with it! If the Flying J wants to continue to earn my business they need to make exceptions for those of us who are technologically challenged

The grave yard shift crew at this establishment is so great I love there music preference its very hip and cool. The young man and lady which I happened to not catch there names but, they were very helpful with my purchases of sprite and pack of white owl cigarillos and Swishers. I will be returning every Friday night after my shift down at the local bar. Much Love Pilots #JetLife.

Too new to be this dirty. Way too understaffed for the amount of people coming in and out of here. They have one person taking orders in the kitchen and also helping with the cash registers. Complete chaos. Btw. 5 dollars for a mediocre breakfast sandwich with no sides or coffee. Too much.
