I first visit this location nineteen years ago, from the very visit until now 2020 I am still impressed! one with the level of customer service, two with the price and the bargain is phenomenal, three the knowledge of the staff. I recently moved eighty miles away however I still stop by on a regular basis my parents lives close by. I would recommend these guys to anyone I come across knowing that they will be well taking care of. Good for pawns on instruments, electronics, etc. (Not Jewelry) as far as purchasing, way overpriced and they wont give that great of deals or discounts, if any at all. One day I spent a good amount of money, bought a bunch of different things, they gave me a semi-descent price. Came back a week later to buy just a couple of things I wanted and they would not budge AT ALL, not even a dollar, 50cents, nothing, and not just one employee but 2 salesman and a manager, all said Sorry but we cant. Its a pawnshop, its not cant, its wont. I walked out. 5 stars up until this point, Sorry😩

Garbage customer service. Refused to purchase a used camera because it “took to long”. The clerk had no idea how the product worked and was combative the entire time, even accused me of stealing the camera. Disgusting, if you want fair service this is not the place

If youre pawning something or putting it on loan just prepare for them to low ball you as much as possible. Ive intentionally went to them just to see what they would give me for certain items just for a quick laugh because I knew I had a better offer elsewhere. Not hating on their hustle but I notice they do this more so than other pawnshops in the area. My advice is to look elsewhere before coming here and let them be a last option.

I have to pawn my items from time to time.And have used a few pawn shops.The chain stores like Value Pawn And Cash America.Seem to be just waiting for the time you are one day late to take your items.I like using Peoples Pawn.They will hold your items and dont seem like vultures tiring to take your items.I guess the corporate stores have to meet there numbers for the share holders.Peoples Pawn feels like a family owned store.Thanks for all you have done for me.

If there was ever a time I considered suicide. Today is the day. I pawn my laptop a month or so ago because of being pressed for fast cash at the moment. I spoke to the guy told him how much it meant to me that there are photos of my dead father and the birth of my daughter on my laptop. It means the world to me. But I had personal issues to deal with. It was understood and overstood, a month later I called because I didnt have the funds to take it out. He told me I would have to pay $60 to extend it and that he would put a note on the laptop. I been in the hospital right after that. Called today since yesterday was Christmas. He said today they finally put it out and it still here so when I was discharged from the hospital I came straight over. When I got to the desk, the guy told me by the way the computer was set to factory settings. Honestly, I cant even write anymore because my heart is so broken. I cried in the store on the way to the pharmacy and driving to my house. Im crying right now. Because at this point I dont even need the laptop I needed those memories. I still paid the $70 but Apple is telling me they might not be able to get it back because the iPhoto folder on the Mac is different from photos on your phone to backup to a cloud. All I can think about is just reuniting with my dad. Im such at a lost. This company has shattered my spirit and my world.*Update: Since I left this review, someone called Joe White keeps sending me personal text messages to make me remove this post. Going back and forth with me about what occurred. Like I explained in the text messages, I was hospitalized. We were in communication and it would of been nice the same way you been texting me, it would of been nice after you left that note for me and realized I never came. (Because I was in the hospital) The same way you keep texting me now, I could of received a text. You can’t help me at this point, you made your point that you cannot help. I already paid the fee to extend it. I’ll be back to retrieve my laptop but I’m not removing my post. Leave me alone ! I am beyond upset and still emotionally unstable I do not need text messages from the Joe White !

Prices are rediculas. Less expensive to buy new. $25 for a single DVD season.

Service was top knotch. My wedding ring is absolutely gorgeous. The entire staff was extremely helpful and down to earth. I have purchased game consoles, tools, and a vacuum. Im big on customer service and this store prides themselves on that.

My husband and I like to visit pawn shops whenever there is one around. Its like shopping antique stores. Its just a little hobby that we have. A friend of mine told me about Peoples Pawn Shop. Said we had to visit it.The shop was huge, and I had such fun! We bought a couple of cds and quite a few jewelry pieces. Terri and Isabel were really sweet. Terri was our salesperson, but we all were talking. If she wasnt so helpful we wouldnt have bought so much. My husband let me choose some jewelry pieces. (He never does that.) I was so happy!!! Thanks Terri!!! We will be back often. (I could tell by his face!!!) Yay!!!

Rude staff. Unreal. Asked to see an item behind the counter and got major attitude from a salesperson who obviously doesnt want to be there. Theres a reason they have merchandise Ive seen on the shelf for over 10 years. Stupid prices and rude staff. Go to Value pawn next door and you get bombarded with Welcome to Value Pawn!. Here, theyd rather you leave without bothering them. Sadly they had an item I was ready to purchase. Took my business elsewhere. I might come back in a decade to visit some guitars youve had for 25 years.

Went to this shop the young man who helped me was so kind he re sized my watch for free and i brought a very nice silver braclet which was cleaned for me i will be going back thank you for being NICE

I purchased a laptop from the Lauderdale Lakes location and within less than a week it stopped working. When I brought to the location for them to wither fix it or replace, they did absolutely nothing. I was trying talked down to and they showed no interest in trying to fix the issue. I will never purchase anything from them again. They are the absolute worse.
