I liked this little market! As the name implies its very much oriental to the max inside and out, clean and easy to move around due to the space and very familiar in terms of looking like a store but just kinda neat! Inventory is really cool, I liked looking at things like whole fish or squid for sale! Service was also polite and chatty! My only two negatives are despite liking it, the Market didnt have anything I needed to get and the prices are a LITTLE on the higher side of things! Still Oriental Market is a good little local Asian market and has a good inventory amd staff to boot!Picture 9s of the outside of the building as it was just a bit difficult to get some inside.
There is no other Oriental market as good as this one. My favorite oriental market in South Florida. Its large with a good variety. Prices are fair to excellent. 👍👍👍
Always clean. Friendly staff ready to help with suggestions and explanations. Great selection of products. One of our go to places.
If youre a that likes Korean food the oriental Market is the place. They have just about anything oriental.
Always very clean. Wide isles. Helpful staffing. Nice to see that they diversified their cashiers
My go to oriental market, wide variety of mainly Korean products, but also good amount of Chinese and Japanese products as well.Always clean, never too crowded, and friendly staff. Ive been going here for years and will definitely continue as long as I dont live too far.
Bright and organized, with very nice looking meats and produce, fresh buns from a local bakery, and friendly cashiers. Their variety of ice cream novelties is the best Ive seen among any of the Asian and Oriental markets in Broward, and the breadth of other frozen foods they had in stock was impressive. Will definitely be shopping there again in the future.
This market has so much to offer!! I drive an hour every 2 months to get my groceries from here!! Everything is clean and the choices are amazing!!!
Been coming to this place for over a decade. Its great
So many great things here. The kids pick up all different kinds of instant Ramen/pho/noodles to try. We now make sushi at home and everything you need is there. The produce is always fresh. And, unique bottles of Sake make a great gift.
I shop here often. Great selection of the ingredients I use the most with several brands for most items. The kitchen utensils are priced right too.
I love this store. The place is very clean and full of items. I bought all I needed here to make bulgogi (they even have premade options), gyoza (also delicious premade options, and shumai! They gave a wide array of options for instant noodles, seaweed, sauces, and much more! The staff here is also very kind and more than happy to help and answer questions. Here I finally found the delicious honey crisp chips which are just divine. I wish you could just buy a box of those 😅. At the end of your purchase they also give you one of those little probiotic yogurts which my mother loves.
My daughters love coming to this little market to get their Asian food fix. They love the ramen and kimchi.
Found what I was looking for. Clean and nice associates.
One of the few larger Asian grocery spots in the area. This place has a large variety of options to choose. From an array of rice and noodles, fresh produce, frozen goods, common household goods, and a few snacks and drinks (a personal favorite). You cant go wrong here! And if you were wondering, all imported goods require an English label on them so youre not as lost as you think you might be.
Love this market! They always have what I’m looking for and I always find new things to try!
I love this store! They have a bunch of ingredients and snacks you cant find anywhere else. The produce is always super fresh and you get a ton of it for a low price. They even make a lot of their products in store (the dumplings are to DIE FOR!!!) definitely worth stopping by whenever youre in the area!
Great variety of products for Korean and Japanese food lovers.
Very good selection of noodles, vegetables & seaweed
Great little market. Found everything I was looking for to make sushi.
Very clean and easy to find items once you understand the layout. Ive been buying cooking ingredients from them for years. I was in my old neighborhood so HAD to stop by for a few of my favorite spices
Great place for shopping Asian foods, great prices, great and friendly staff!
Only place you can get imported cup noodle flavors and canned coffee!
My friend from Miami told me this is the best Asian market around and she’s right. Extensive and varied products from all over Asia. Fresh pastries. At Christmas I get my daughter a case of the award-winning Nongshim udon, that Publix and Walmart never have. Even New York Mart doesn’t carry it but they have it here. They have everything here. Their frozen section is vast. My husband always gets the mango mochi ice cream. From hard-to-find Pocky candy flavors to cooking utensils, dishes and shoes, you’ll find it here. Plus the cashier speaks English. At checkout they give you a free probiotic drink that’s so yummy. They sell milk bread here, that trendy ultra soft bread that’s been written up in New York Times food section, and it’s hard to find elsewhere.
They had everything I needed, the staffs were nice and the kimchi taste good.
I love this store, but theyve hired some new employees that do more talking than anything and are very slow.
💚❤Love shopping here. Picking up a few needed basic supplies that are not found anywhere nearby. ✅Prices are very reasonable. Check out is Note they do not accept American Express as a method of payment. 🟢Visa/Mastercard & cash welcomed.
If youre trying an Asian recipe theres a lot to choose from here.
Great place, good selection of Korean and Vietnamese food, excellent kimchi. Wish they had more Japanese candy.
Veggies are fresh and affordable. Staff are so nice and helpful. They also have tons of new snacks.
Ver clean and courteous staff
I found this market by mistake and im so glad i did. They have everything i ever wanted! They are friendly and the service is great. Will definitely be back.
The cashier was rude. No one knew what tahini was. No ine knew which isle to find canned jackfruit.
Finally an oriental mart without the terrible smell! they have a good selection of snacks, ramen, drinks, and more.
Always great selection and service!!!
Wonderful service super fast and everything you could possibly need! By far my favorite market in existence! Cannot recommend highly enough!
They care worldly products and super reasonable
Clean. Well stocked. Freshly made Kimbap sushi daily. Great Asian ice cream selection too
I loved this place. Its far from me, but it has all kinds of great Korean and some Japanese items. Mom and I usually only goto our local Chinese markets for shopping. My favorite thing is I can get my Korean skin care products here.
I love going to this little market to find all sorts of yummy snacks for my kids and I. My son loves picking all different types of instant ramen to try and my daughter likes picking different types of sweet treats. Employees are always polite and nice. Its small, but very well stocked.
This is the best and biggest Korean grocery that Ive found in South Florida. They have a pretty extensive selection of everything from frozen items to some bakery goods and a fresh produce section. Theres plenty of choices on all the ingredients that you need to make just about any Korean dish you want. Theres also frozen meats in all of the Korean cuts and some pre-marinated stuff if you need some convenience foods. A lot of their fresh stuff is from Georgia because I think thats where the closest larger Korean communities and distribution are. Theres an aisle of noodles and and aisle dedicated to snacks, and a section of all the usual housewares and things. The prices can be higher than what youll find at H-Mart, but I guess thats the price we pay without any major Korean grocery options here in South Florida. This place definitely has what I need in between my trips to Washington DC where I fill up my suitcases with Korean foods and ingredients before I fly home!
Clean, organized and full of great Korean products!
Nice selection of Asian food styles and vegetables.
Good market to find all your oriental goods. I will say if you look you can find it here. The only thing I can ask for is the aisle signs in English. But if you look you will find it.
Quite happy with this market. Its Korean-owned, and, in particular, has a really good selection of Korean products if thats what youre looking for. They also have a number of Japanese and assorted other Asian food and products. That said, if youre looking for access to a Korean grocer, I highly recommend.
Best Korean grocery store in south Florida! Lots of authentic foods and great selection.
Always very welcoming. My children like to come and find new foods and sweets to try. Always an adventure for them and they get educated about different food items.
Very clean, great selection of items, and good pricing.
Love this store it clean and well supplied. They have a great freezer selection as well as a great produce area. Prices are reasonable and products are fresh and not outdated. I recommend this store most of your Asian and Korean products.
Great assortment of Asian grocery.
I love this Grocery store. And they give you these little cold milk shops ask them about it. Its only 25 cent
Everyone wears masks. Sanitizer outside store. Prices are good not crowded
I always find everything I need for our Korean and Asian cooking. From sweet potato noodles to Mochis! All of this in a clean and very friendly store. Thumbs up!
My wife and I shop here often, friendly people and the store always stocked up
Business face has changed, no longer welcoming or polite. Love my korean food but rather go elsewhere
Great cost on foods. My wife and I enjoy oriental dishes and culture and we will continue to shop here in the future.
We come here for all our asian cuisine needs. We got into making our own japchae noodles and ramen bowls. Now when it strikes our fancy we can do a short trip for all the ingredients in one shop and get to cooking fast. If they dont have it on the shelves, you are looking in the wrong place, ask one of the staff members for assistance, because they have everything.
Always has fresh produce, plenty of options with other grocery items, and kind staff
I guess closing the register was more important than this review lol
Over priced, in my opinion.
Nice market. Pretty much everything
Has plenty of products and its the only place Ive found that always has what we need for Korean dishes. Nice people and the quality of items/produce is always top tier!
Clean and large selection! Nice looking Asian ingredients (fresh cuts) Nagaimo for okonomiyaki of you want from scratch, otherwise they sell the powdered mix $2.49 (oko sauce $3.49. Kewpie mayo in the chilled section $6.49 500g, ucc coffee $1.49, royal milk tea (my fav) $1.99, sake - strawberry nigori $7.99. We spend under $30 and I couldnt be happier! They didnt have meiji gummy choco (tubes of chocolate covered jelly beans), but they did have the meiji mushroom boxes - I think for $2.99 (much better than chocoboy).
Huge variety very clean
My go to place for asian food.store is clean and they disenfect after customers.
If you love asian, this is the place to shop
Kimchi tastes like they dumped a whole bag of salt in the jar. I make my own as well as purchase store made ones. This jar of kimchi is priced at 22.99. This was so bad, I had to write a review.
Great selection and prices.
We visit Oriental Market in Lauderlhill today. Yes, as you enter the market there is a strong fermented smell. Aside from the smell. It is a good size Asian market with pretty good variety. Their price is better than the New York Mart not too far away. I got a big jar of Kimchi for $20.00 their sweet rice is fresher and less expensive than other Asian market. I will come back again even though it is 45 minutes drive
Always a clean and organized experience, unlike many of their competitors
Great location for me. Fresh fish, and undergoing big renovation. Already can see larger selection
The best korean snacks you could find
Best place for oriental foods and snacks. Great selection, nice staff, clean.
A great place for Korean produce, snacks, and household goods! The staff are quite warm and friendly, and I always find what Im craving.
I love this store. They have everything from my childhoodEddie
Nope nope and nope. The smell is horrific it smells rancid and is poorly kept. The fresh foods are NOT fresh. Went last week and the same. Same exact meat was in display and a sticker was placed over the previous fresh by date!!!! They are not nice. Very unfriendly. Will use Newyork mart. They are way more helpful and friendly
They have everything and more very fresh friendly staff
Great place with great products. I love the Im house packaging options.
Use to be a nice place with fresh food and groceries. Its a dying place right now. Some prices skyrocket, grapes with $6.89 per pound? Only few customers. I guess these are not the previous owners. I wish them good luck! I hope they can reduce prices, fill up the shelves, bring fresh produce and come down with a decent price. At this time of the Year I used to buy persimmons and grapes by the case. Now it is untouchable because the extremely very high price.
Large selection, clean and nicely organized. Was a bit timid walking in at first because i had read the comments about unfriendly workers...Just so happens as i walked up to the counter to pay a man asked the cashier a question. Not only did she go out of her way to help find the answer by asking another coworker the coworker helped resolve the question (all while ringing people up). I didnt get the names of the cashiers but i would say very nice customer service!
The best Asian Market I have ever been too! Veggies are FRESH and the prices are resonable, especially some of the pricing are much lower than the New York Mart!!
Busy, well stocked, clean market, would have been 5 stars if more than one register was open.
Nice and clean market
Nice little market for our Korean cravings. Easily found everything I was looking for except for one item. Since everything is written in Korean we had to ask a lady who was stocking the shelves. She seemed really annoyed to the point she told us the item was out of stock. Guess what, after finishing our round we actually found the item. Left us a bad taste but happy we got everything
My wife and daughter loves this place! Seaweed chips and noodles are good!
This store offers a huge array of authentic Asian products and kitchen items. We buy our summer roll and potsticker wrappers here as well as all of our Asian seasonings such as Furikake! Their produce is limited but priced fairly. I haven’t tried any other Asian markets other than the tiny one on Sunrise (which is actually Japanese). It’s a bit out of the way for us but I love the Oriental Market.
Good selection and some good prices on some things. but service was just ok from cashiers and some prices were high on other products. overall nothing too negative but neither anything too postive either. just ok, but id still recommend you check them out .
