Have used this office before and been very pleased. This time my frames took an exceptionally long time to get back. No one from the office ever contacted me to let me know what was happening so I checked in several times.The last time I called I was told it may be a couple more weeks and when I asked if within the additional 2 week possible wait time they didnt arrive could I just take the prescription somewhere else I was told no because the lens are already cut. So they now have my money and I have nothing. In frustration I hung the phone up and guess what, my frame arrives the next day. I got a very polite phone call letting me know they have arrived and I go that day to get them. Only problem is no one fit them to me and I now have a pair of glasses that are sliding down my nose. Ill find someone to fit them and I probably wont return to this office.

Friendly staff, doctor very kind and professional. However appointments were at 10:20 and 10:40 for my husband and myself. We werent called back to see the doctor until 11:50.

Absolutely Love this office! The office Manager was amazing so helpful and caring! The Doctor was really knowledgeable and personable! He took the time to explain what he was doing and seemed to really care! The wait was not long at all and very efficient! Will come back to years to come!

I have been a patient of the Bowling Eye Clinic since 1998. I remain a patient of the Bowling Eye Clinic because of their professional and friendly staff. Furthermore, although they are located in a small rural community they have technology that you would find in any big city practice. My sight is important to me, and I trust the care of my sight to Dr. Bowling and his staff.

Expect them to take forever to get to you. 10 am appointment, finally called back the first time at 11:03 am. Still waited for the doctor after that.The doctors do do decent eye exams, they overbook tremendously.

Dr Stroud is awesome but his staff could use some help. I doubt I will be returning to this office.

I have been a patient of the Bowling Eye Clinic since 2009. I suffer from RCE. I had been a patent of another local Doctor who told me after several months of treatment and a minor procedure there was nothing more he could do. I had missed a lot of work and was in a dark place when I found Dr. Bowling. While I do still have RCE’s, my time missed from work is minimal. I have not missed a day of work in over 7 months. Dr. Bowling and his staff have been relentless in the treatment of my condition. The staff at the Bowling Eye Clinic are second to none in service and value.Chadwick Osborne

I went to get contacts sitting fee 150.00 my daughter just went to vision wear in fayetteville got contacts and glasses and paid a little of 280.00 for everything.. Back to vision wear for me sitting fee of 150.00, ridiculous . NOT ME!! DIDNT EVEN GET ANY CONTACTS... HELLO. Rip off. What does insurance pay...they should tell you this when you make your appointment, which was made 4 months ago, ugh....

This place is awful. Have never gotten in and out on time. Have always waited 45 mins past my appointment to get in. If you can go somewhere else, do so.

Only give one star because I had to give something this place is not even worth calling it takes two to three months to get a appointment and when you do then they want to reschedule

Doctor Bowling is a great doctor but hear lately your wait time is inexcusable today we waited 2 hours and counting to see the doctor for a follow up on her surgery thinking about looking for a new doctor

My vist was very disappointing after a 12 hour shift my vist lasted 2 hour and 45 minutes.

Not much personal attention lately, to rushed. however overall good.

I’ve been here almost two hours and have yet to see the doctor...I’m not sure if it’s overbooking or what, but it’s an extreme waste of my time.
