They have a huge board game selection. They have nice displays for the games that make it easy to see them all at once. They have some interesting puzzles as well. If you are into manga, tabletop games, or gundam models they have those as well.

Went into the store and had a great experience with the staff working! Then I got home and opened up the first disc I purchased. This is what I received. Not thoroughly impressed at all but I am able to clean it with no issues. What was an issue was the second item I opened the disc wasn’t even inside of the case and now I have to drive 30 minutes back to the store just to get the disc I purchased. I will go back but next time I am checking what I buy BEFORE I leave. Thank you.

This place was amazing! They have everything! They had all the old games, they had strategy guides for things I couldnt believe HAD strategy guides! Let me tell you, the hunt for old FF guides is real! Their service were incredible! Their prices were more than fair (even if I wanted some to be cheaper, they were legit more than fair) where some of them really could have been much higher right now. And they offered really good prices on trade-ins compared to, well, every other competitor on the planet. I wish I had stopped in more often when I lived around the corner. Now Ill have to drive up from Wichita😆. And I will, too😂😂 Great place. Way better than Game Stop or Vintage games.

This is the smaller sister store to their downtown location. This place has a major focus on comics and video games, though they do have a very small selection of card game supplies. Both stores have great staff and Im happy to support this location when I can.

I walked in this place was immediately fell in love. Has figures TCG retro games and current ones. Has everything a nerd needs for the most part. Wish they held TCG tournaments but in all great place will be coming back to decorate my game cave.

This store is great! There is a selection from the nes all the way to the Nintendo switch, with each console having a quantity and quality selection, and did I mention they have the consoles that the games run on in the store. The only downside is that the items are usually about 5 to 10 $ more than online but other than that this store is awsome

SO! I was experiencing a problem with the gameboy link cable I had purchased and brought it to these guys to figure it out. What I appreciated was the fact that the workers who were there all helped me. They were digging for extra gameboy to test the cables and also looking for extra cables AND even doing research to see how to work around the problem I was having! The dope thing about all of this was that these guys spent an hour helping and being invested in my problem. I always shop at gamenut, mass st. Or Iowa, both places have awesome staff that make these wacky times not so stressful. Thank you to the Iowa staff for your patience and ingenuity!

Friendly staff. Can order comics. Several we inquired about new and old were all available to order but not in stock at store.

I got bait and switched at the register. On the shelf, the price sticker on the item said $7.99, but the employee who got the item took the sticker off and put it through the system at $9.99. It wasnt until I paid my tab that I saw what they did. Id try to give benefit of the doubt, but they removed the sticker to hide what they did. As much as I love the selection, and Id like to go back, I dont trust a business that would employ a tactic like this.

Game Nut is one of those iconic places that is what it is. Games and comics and DVDs and the best of all of it. The employees know their stuff and management seems to know what theyre on about. They also have surprising longevity.

I brought some DVDs in to sell. The clerk was very nice and helped me out the most she could. I was in real need for some gas money and I think she may have bought some that she normally wouldnt have. I was very appreciative that she went out of her way.

Aside from games, its got plenty of accessories, from simple controllers to really niche peripherals. Im pretty sure I saw a SNES duckhunt blaster. Its my go-to entertainment store.

Good selection. But disappointing policy. Heres the deal. Found several gamecube games Id like to buy. 7 of of the 8 games I chose had price stickers clearly on them. Great! I found good deals!However the only worker at the time said she would have to do a price check. Hmmm well thats a new concept to me as the price was already on it! They claim the prices go up and down. Well can you guess what happened to the majority of them?? Yup they went up significantly! A couple of them did go down a few dollars.The games I wanted to purchase were not popular games, but instead were ones likely to sit for a LONG time. But they will sit there for longer as I declined to purchase anything.My question is.. What other store would you shop at that this would be acceptable to you? None that I will shop at!This review would have received 1 star if it werent for the employee who was working hard during a busy day.My solution... I bought a bottle of wine elsewhere instead. Still a good day!

The place has a calm atmosphere. It sells games for just about every console that existed. They do not offer dirt cheap garage sale prices. This is clearly a store intended for collectors (shenmue for the dreamcast costs $50). With that in mind, the prices are very reasonable. Overall its a very nice experience and the staff are polite and helpful.

Well definitely smaller than the parent store on Massachusetts, the store itself has a lot of charm and still has quite a bit of selection for its size. If you live on this side of town I definitely recommend checking out what they have, or if you couldnt find what you needed on Massachusetts Street, they may have it here.

This game shop has everything a gamer could want from the latest and greatest all the way down to Atari and Nintendo games. My boyfriend stated this is one of the stores to remember for when he wAnts a new game fix. They also have air soft guns, comics, collectable toys and a whole lot more. The prices were about average to high average in cost.
