I had a great experience at Target optical. The technician was amazingly friendly. She quickly helped fix my broken glasses, called my vision clinic and got my info and helped me pick glasses that I liked. Great and super quick and easy experience overall. I LOVE TARGET and especially Targets employees. They are so friendly and helpful!!
I HAD MY PRESCRIPTION FILLED AT YOUR STORE. THE LADY THAT TOOK THE ORDER WAS VERY HELPFUL. SHE DID NOT PUSH FOR OPTIONS THAT I DID NOT WANT. WHEN I PICKED UP THE GLASSES, THEY WERE HIGH QUALITY. THEY WERE ADJUSTED FOR ME SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL THEY FIT WELL. THIS IS THE SECOND PAIR OF GLASSES I HAVE GOTTEN FROM TARGET OPTICAL, AND HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASE BOTH TIMES.
Ive purchased both contacts and glasses at Target Optical in Lawrence and have had a great experience every time. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products. The store is at a great location and is always very clean. Ill continue going here for all of my future purchases!

The young man who was working tonight was very helpful and friendly. He even took the time to give me an honest critique of which frames looked best on me. He wasnt out to sell me an expensive pair that didnt fit well. He was truly interested is selling me the ones with which I felt happy. I wish I had caught his name. He worked on Monday night around 6 pm. Highly recommend!
Hands down - one of the best eye doctor experiences I have had! They were super accommodating and very friendly. Plus, they fitted me for my first pair of contacts and made the entire process so easy. It was a quick visit, and I couldn’t be more happy. Highly recommend!
They pressure you into the expensive plastic. After they get your $$$ they cheerfully tell you itll be about a week. If you call before two weeks they get short with you and ask if you have received a phone call. If you call after three weeks they will THEN reluctantly look up your order status. Uh oh, they dont know where your glasses are. Theyll cheerfully reorder them for you...Never again. If you high-pressure sales me then Im going to high pressure ask you where my overpriced pieces of plastic are. You are paid to answer my questions, end of story.And if your insurance covers hardware, you dont get the sexy sale prices posted all over the display racks. That doesnt make sense. Who cares where the money comes from?
I am really disappointed in Target Optical in Lawrence, Kansas. My glasses and my Husbands glasses were supposed to be in on the 13th of January, 2020. It is now January 21, 2020 and they are still not in. I would have thought that they would have called me to let me know they had not come in yet, but I ended up having to call them. It ended up that the Manager of the Target Optical in Lawrence, Kansas got all hurt that I was upset by them not getting there when they were promised. I ended up talking to her Manager and as it turns out I guess I am not even supposed to question why they have not come in yet. All they are doing is making excuses instead of trying to find out why they have not come in yet. I am being told that they can not find out why, I am just supposed to accept their word for it. Well if they have not come in by this coming Friday (1,24,2020) I will be getting my money back and will go elsewhere to get glasses. Everything they are doing is very unprofessional. Their customer service sucks. I am one very unhappy customer. I tried giving no stars and it will not allow me to.OK now for an update about my Target Optical experience. My glasses finally came in my to my disappointment, they were no line bifocals and when I ordered my glasses I specifically told them I wanted the lined bifocals. The no line ones are blurry on the sides and it makes me nauseous looking through that kind. The glasses were 10 days late and wrong when the ordered them. I told them to just give me my money back and I would just go elsewhere. We were in the store a total of 45 minutes waiting for them to give a refund. Thank goodness Eyemart Express exsists because I was able to go to their store and be fitted for glasses and receive them all within an hours time frame. The staff at Target Optical were really rude to me and kept telling me I needed to be more reasonable. I told her that I will never recommend Target Optical to anyone, so if you have any idea about going there, just dont. They treat you better at Eyemart Express and they are more cost friendly than Target.
After choosing a pair of frames, I sat down with the rep to go over the insurance coverage. She stated the insurance I had(EyeMed) did not cover glasses. After showing her the paperwork I had, including the group and ID numbers, she didnt make an effort to check further for coverage. Instead, she became frustrated and ranted about problems, using the F-word and another expletive. Another customer was present during this and immediately left, followed by myself. Must have had a bad day
Priced about the same as every one else. They dont know how to adjust glasses correctly.
Then I was off to finding some cool glasses.
I had a very positive experience picking out and ordering my glasses/contacts. The young lady that helped me was knowledgeable, professional, and kind.A few weeks later (yesterday 8/26/16) I called the optical center to see if my glasses were ready and spoke with a different employee. She was quite rude and scolded me for not picking up my glasses earlier.My wife went to the center to pick them. The same lady was there, working alone, on the phone, with a line of customers waiting to be assisted.She did not acknowledge my wife in any way and was again quite rude to her.If it were not for the other staff members; Id have left a lower score and I would never do business there again.However, bad customer service is a war of attrition. They would be wise to schedule a few more people, even to cover lunch breaks, and perhaps read a few books on good customer service.
Had our two children see their doctor in the past year. We took our children to the Eye doctors and was told the doctor at the target location diagnosed our childrens prescription very wrong. They were told they were given a wrong prescription in glasses. It caused them headaches could not understand what were giving the head aches now we know this guy at the target location is a joke for a eye doctor defiantly will not recommend these folks to no one go to the eye doctors across from Dairy Queen
Have had my glasses for almost three months and they still cant get them right! All they want to do is keep adjusting the nose pads! Ill never buy from this place again!

Terrible, first they accidentally charged our account $200 instead of 20 and it took several days for them to get the money back in the account. The dr. gave us a prescription that was completely wrong and left us without contacts or glasses that are functional . Tried to give 0 stars put couldnt post that
I was in a hurry and there was only one worker in there helping a couple with ordering glasses. I stood back behind them, waiting for my turn. A second worker showed up five minutes later and the girl that was already there told him to help an older lady who got there much after I did. And when they finally had time to see me, the guy tightened the screws so much that you cant even close the glasses. Oh and theyre super crooked now.
