I was able to schedule the night before for a tech to come to my home in the morning for my a/c maintenance. That was very helpful because going without a/c is a nightmare right now. I got alerted on my phone when my tech, Ryan arrived which was also helpful. Ryan was very professional and explained everything to me. Even though I didnt understand a single word of it, it was nice knowing what he was doing and keeping me updated on what was happening. Based on my experience Id recommend Advantage for any hvac needs.

I was impressed with their willingness to listen to my concern and address it in a fair and professional manner.I would say that you see the true character of people at times of conflict and when presented with problems. I am happy to say that this business has surpassed my expectations in their ability to address a difficult customer, (me) and definitely ensured that I was satisfied with the resolution of my issue. My issue was resolved promptly and fairly, and I was left impressed with their conflict resolution skills. We have had great technicians every time. They explain what they find and what they have done, they respect my property (keep everything clean and wear shoe coverings), and they are always professional and courteous. Todays technician, Ryan Hamm, was especially good. In addition to maintenance, I have also used Advantage to install a new more energy efficient system, clean ductwork, and add more insulation to my attic space. I highly recommend them.

I am very pleased with the service I received . the person answering the phone was polite and respectful. They set up a time and were able to come early. Received a text with a picture and name of the service man that Was being sent out. The service man was very knowledgable . explained that they had to find the part to fix the furnace so it could take one more day. Recieved a call later that day saying the would be back to fix the furnace with the new part. Furnace is fixed for the estimate they quoted.

Im posting on behalf of my parents who had a new a/c and furnace installed by Advantage less than 4 years ago. They were talked into a brand neither of them had heard of and then when it failed and leaked all the freon they would not stand by the equipment or work. It took Advantage more than a week to get it fixed and charged them astronomical amount to fix it. To top it all off the owner wouldnt answer or return a call to my dad. My parents never have the A/C below 76, and had their previous system for close to 40 years with no problems they get this new one from Advantage and it doesnt even last more that 3 summers. It makes me so mad to see them get taken advantage of, please steer clear of Advantage and call a more trustworthy, reliable company.

I had $13,000 of work done on a remodel for my business. Details were handled by a general contractor. There were billing and design issues. When I called Advantage to inquire, as well as quotes for additional work, the manger would not speak with me and made the receptionist speak instead. The bills were paid, but Advantage would not stand behind their work and displayed cowardice and amateurism. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Amazing company to do business with.

I would advise everyone to stay clear of Advantage Heating and A/C. When I contracted with their company to service my rentals, the servicemen consistently reported to me that my air conditioning units were running low on freon which they filled on a regular basis at an extremely high price. Since terminating my contract with their company I have had absolutely no issues with low levels of freon. When I went and talked to the management about my concerns, the management was very confrontational with me. I no longer do business with them. I would urge you to do the same.

Not a good experience. Initially I called out to have the air conditioning checked. Charge me $85. Two months later I call them out to fill the air conditioning with Freon. They call me back and tell me that they need to have the air compressors fixed as well. They charge me another $85 fee. I ask them to waive one of the service charges and I might purchase an air conditioner from them. They wont do it so they lose out on my air-conditioning purchase and any other further purchases in the future. Plus I would not recommend them to anybody.Update*** called Neihoff Dunco who is rated much higher with way better reviews. Mark will be out to look at my AC again and give me a bid. All at no charge. Hmmmmm wonder who Ill be going with?

I had a similar experience as Rick F. did regarding Freon, etc. After the serviceman was here about 10-15 minutes, he said I needed a new air conditioner. My AC was on its 7th summer and it has been serviced every spring and fall. I was told by Levi/Advantage that it had a terrible leak. I decided to just have him do the Freon and Id take my chances. This cost me $302 plus what Id paid for the service contract. I immediately contacted the Advantage owner as I wasnt happy and hoped to resolve the issue. He assured me hed get back with me after checking things out. Now its been several months, so do you think we can assume hes not going to return my call? My AC - that was diagnosed with a terrible Freon leak by Levi/Advantage - has run efficiently ALL SUMMER . . . I set the thermostat at 74 degrees and didnt have one issue even in the hottest of weather.I have now signed a service agreement with Neihof-Dunco (?) from Lawrence for the upcoming year. My daughter has used them for years and is extremely pleased. Well find out next spring what the status of the Freon is - but if the leak was as bad as Levi described to me - I cant imagine it cooled efficiently all summer.Another thing that turned me off is I thought I was doing business with Latta-Whitlow/Topeka who had installed the equipment when I built my house 7 - 8 years ago. Advantage wasnt up front with me by just telling me that they had out bought L-W. Yes, the kept the L-W business and name, but the ownership had changed!!!There are 19 homes where I live (in a maintenance free neighborhood). Most all the heating/AC here was installed by Latta-Whitlow. Ive shared my Advantage experience with several of my neighbors, so it might have been a wise idea for the Advantage owner to take my concern seriously.

I found myself in a real mess this winter. Advantage fixed it for me, and they were more than kind and professional. Thank you!
