Took my little one (7 years old) to get a wash, trim, and braids with beads. The staff was friendly and gentle with her. We had no issues and enjoyed the salon. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns for my little one. I was soo impressed that I even made a future hair appointment for myself.

I love every visit! My hair is longer and healthier! And my curls are always poppin!

I had a great experience at Kinks & Curls, I would say this is the best salon experience I’ve ever had! The ladies their are very knowledgeable on hair care, and I love that. They give tips, suggestions, & offer products that will help benefit our hair. They were all so welcoming & had sweet personalities. My stylist Asheba was AMAZING she started right away on my hair, took her time, she was gentle on my hair, & was very knowledgeable on natural hair, she also gave me tips to try on my natural hair. I got the Schmini twist with a trim & I will definitely be back to try more styles.- Aliah

Asantewaa was a gem. Today was my first visit and everyone was extremely kind and welcoming from the time I entered the salon. I received the services of shampoo, condition, trim and flat twists. I am excited about my 2020 hair journey in getting my hair back to happy due to the current heat damage. I was sincerely appreciative of the natural hair education, attentiveness, stellar customer service and patience offered to me during this visit. I have already told 3 other individuals about this salon. I am very fortunate to have stumbled upon this hidden gem in my neck of the woods. I wish I would have found it sooner when I relocated to this area almost 3 years ago. I will chalk it up as A blessing delayed is not a blessing denied.

I had the demo service with Asantewaa. She did a wonderful job with my super dry and unmanageable hair. The salon atmosphere was very welcoming and made me want to come again and again. The products are all natural and excellent quality. I’m booking my next appointment ASAP!

Crystal, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help. I like that you are encouraged to try products before you buy them. She has a vast knowledge of all of the products on her shelf, and knows which ones will work for your hair. She is even willing to share with you products that she doesnt sell, that may work just as well or to get you to a place where youll feel comfortable spending more for better. This shows that she is truly in it for the customer and not just the money, which makes you more willing to spend your money with her.

I stopped in the boutique today for the first time & instantly caught a good vibe from the Queens who worked there! They were very informative, answered all of my questions & were super nice!!! I made an appt for several services & cant wait to have them done. I heard my hair say thank you for going in as soon as I left ;0)

I have been a customer since September 2017. I like Kinks and Curls, because the entire staff has a passion for natural hair health. Theyre not just fans of a fad; they live what they speak. Its apparent by their natural hair.They also dont mind taking time with you. I knew nothing about caring for my or my daughters hair, but weve been natural for years. My first couple of trips to Kinks and Curls lasted over an hour each, because I had a lot of questions. The staff handheld me through every decision, while empowering me to choose products for myself.Although, I spend a lot each trip, my products last for months. The custom oil bar is my favorite reason to drive to Lawrenceville. I use my oil blend on my hair and body. The large bottle lasts 3 months. Definitely give Kinks and Curls a try.

I adored this place. They have great customer service, a lot of product knowledge and I found them to have good advice for me. Im currently transitioning, so I was kinda lost but they definitely enlightened me and assured me that I was actually doing something right to my regimen. I was in desperate need of some hair help, I had probably spent about $200 on hair products (this year alone) that only dried my hair out in the process . I decided to go to the Kinky and Curls boutique, and I received a warm welcome from the lovely owner who sat me down and took her time to consult me about exactly what my needs were and what product/process would fix them. She recommended 2 products and as soon as I used them, it was almost miraculous how immaculate my hair looked and felt, I was in shock. Ill DEFINITELY be back, and next time Ill take my family members! My hair has never felt better and the prices are very affordable.

I have had several people tell me what to do with my daughters hair. Unfortunately, not once have someone throughly explain and recommend a proper hair care regimen.However, at Kink and Curls boutique, I was actually being educated not talked to, but throughly educated, on what is BEST for MY daughter. Even down towards skin care. Crystal even listened to me about my daughters allergy concerns, and made sure each product that she offered didnt have anything that my daughter was allergic to.Products werent forced down my throat.The product consultation was my favorite part of our experience, which I would definitely recommend. Products were in fair range. K&C boutique is an extremely clean facility as well. I would give them a thousand stars if I could.

After being natural for a while and searching for the right products for my hair I finally was able to locate a place that carried natural hair products. Kinks and Curls in Lawrenceville is my go to spot now. Upon visiting the store,the owner Ms. Crystal was so kind and knowledgeable of the products that she carried she informed me that everyone will not have the same results as someone else, your hair type maybe different from the next person and one rule of thumb she said is all in your daily regimen you must find one that fits you. I can honestly say Ill will frequent this establishment for all my natural hair productsThanks Kinks and Curls!! Oh I cant forget the open atmosphere of the store
