Nice, clean store. I enjoy shopping at Publix. However, their bakery cookies are displayed as you walk in and they somehow end up in my cart.
Stood in line for over 30 minutes to get a sandwich, same one person in front of me the entire time. Finally gave up and got some wheat mtn bread and smoked salmon. The smoked salmon was old and stale and the wheat mtn bread was doughy. I was able to roll it into a ball and turn it back into a dough ball. Toasting it didn’t help the situation. Their mountain breads are not made well anymore, when they used to be amazing. The cashiers are always very nice, no issues there.
Ordered a cake online, was exactly what I wanted. The only issue I have is the filling, I was charged an extra $7, for eclair filling. I even made a comment in the comment section, to make sure it was at least a 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick & when we cut into the cake, it was barely there. They should not charge $7 extra if you cant even taste the filling. My suggestion, is they make a well in the bottom layer & then fill with filling!! This is what we did years ago & I still do when I make a filled cake with custards or puddings.
Publix is always very spacious, clean, pleasant, and fresh. The one on Sugarloaf parkway is no different. The cashier was pleasant and provided me with great customer service. He asked me related questions to ensure I had everything I needed before leaving the store. I also like that I can use my Publix app with ease for touch less paying.
Nice staff and management team. Always ready to help and make your experience there fast and swift. 3 stars because they were reorganizing stuff in the refrigerators and had food items on the bare floors. Not on plastic or anything but the bare floors, you and I walk on. I have never seen such an unacceptable behavior with food items which go on our kitchen counters and sometimes straight to the dining day before. Moreover these things were to be cold and they were in open air. I plan not to buy anything cold in this publix for at least a month. I have never understood why two times my gallon of milk went bad while in the fridge. The coldest part of the fridge too🙆🙆🙆. Sadly management were around and seeing it all🤮🤮🤮
In and out quickly. Service was great. However the person writing on the cakes needs a bit more training lol She was sweet but the handwriting was NOT. Ill still return but no writing on cakes the next time😉
Maybe some of yall already discovered this, but now Im on board. When I needed a take home meal, I used to go to Popeyes or KFC. But recently, I waited in line at Popeyes for 15 minutes with another potential 15 ahead of me. Then I remembered how great Publix chicken is, but never thought of getting 2 boxes instead of one. Now this is in my arsenal plus some frozen veggies. I save over $10. I didnt get cake on this trip, but at least its fresh. A 2 liter drink doesnt over cost. Plus upon plus, the staff is great and welcoming. This is a Publix standard. Was that the question? Oh. My experience at Publix? It was great.
Always a great experience when I shop here. The employees are great, the store is bright and clean. The fruit is always fresh.
Went to publix on my lunch break multiple people in the deli 1 person was cutting lunch meat 1 was making sandwiches. It was around 130 when I came in. I had to wait 10 minutes before I was even asked what I wanted. To only find out that there wasnt any lunch meat cut for my sandwich. You figure having all of these people in your deli that this wouldnt be a problem. Ive shopped at this location multiple times and Ive been to your deli multiple times. I understand that times are tough but this shouldnt be a problem.
I have to assume that the Publix top management has concluded that their business can save its way into prosperity--no more senior discounts; no more one cent sales; no more paper bags, just to mention a few of the cutbacks. And now I notice that the smileless employees of the deli no longer offer you a free slice of the product you are buying. Ive been a Publix customer for a very long time: ever since the store on Indian Trail was their first in Gwinnett. And the only thing that gets me is the right to park in a handicapped space. Sadly, apart from milk and baked goods, the Publix brand has become one to be avoided. If you have tried their frozen, pankoed shrimp, you know what I mean. I would mention all of this to the store manager, but she stays in her office where she doesnt have to contend with disgruntled customers. Why dont I shop elsewhere, you ask? Old habits die hard though I have found a good butcher shop. As for the rest, Im working on it.
Best Publix in the region! I travel for a living so have been in a lot of them and this was the best from Thomasville Georgia up to north Georgia. Everyone was genuinely super friendly (yes, we can tell when you dont mean it), helpful and the store was immaculate. I work nightshift so the visit was before 0800...the sushi was fresh, abundant and beautiful with someone already there to help instead of this dept isnt open yet, which Ive been receiving from quite a few in the area as they stand behind the counter. She was very sweet and her assistance had me on my way in no time at all. This Publix has maintained the high standards of customer service that gave the chain such a good reputation when they first opened. Thank you!
I dont normally shop at Publix, but I visited this location and was able to run right in to get what I wanted with no wait. The cashier was very kind and asked if I found everything I needed. Every time Ive visited this store its always clean and the workers are friendly.
The management and employees here are great. From how helpful they are, to how welcome they make their customers feel, they go far above and beyond. They seem like family to each other, and they make their customers feel like family. Oh yea, and their bathrooms are super clean.
Well organized, neat and clean place. Starting with employees to the shelves.
Always a pleasure to shop at this location. Hassan and Christine are top notch managers. Associates are always helpful and friendly.
One star because i can rate less.... this is the worst farmacy service ever. Ive been waiting for 1 and 30minutes for my prescription when they said its was going to be 30 minutes. I have fever a sinus infection and thryvjust said a busy day. Even people that came after me where already taken care of
Very friendly and staff is always helpful. Manager walks the aisles and is always pleasant. Great variety of food & produce is always fresh. Great store.
They had the Jim and Nicks biscuit mix on sale!! What a wonderful mix.
I LOVE this Publix. The store is always supremely well kept and well stocked.Best of all they have a phenomenal beer selection, particarly nitrogenated foreign beers which I cant even find at my local liquor store.Really great store, highly recommend!
Great friendly employees. Still waiting for a few items pulled by mfg during pandemic to make their way back onto shelves. Terrific store
Happy to find every item on my list (other than gallon of whole milk) or a suitable substitute. Cashier was, as usual, outstanding. Great, friendly staff.
Great old school service. More than one lane open with a cashier. No complaints on any Publix
Great shopping experience as always. My home store. I always find what I need and more.
Best customer service of any Publix I have visited. Honestly, prices might be higher but worth it for their efficiency and customer service
Love the new self check-out area
Clean store throughout, fresh smelling produce & friendly helpful staff, refreshing!
Their baked wings are the best (very tasty and unbelievably priced), and they always great customer service.
I love going to Publix when they got the buy one get one free I always look for those offers and I think Publix has got the best fresh vegetables and fruits unless you go to State Farmers Market thats different keep up the good work Publix see you soon
Great selection. Great B.O.G.O.S
I ordered cupcakes for my daughters birthday. When I arrived to pick the up, they were not made. The bakery worker was very apologetic. They went above and beyond to remedy the situation and even though it was more effort to come back and pick them up a day later, it was still worth it for the great quality and customer service. Mistakes happen and how a company handles the mistake sometimes means more than getting it right the first time.
Super nice workers and very helpful. Helped take my groceries out to my car
Prices are too high. Come on you cant makeupmoney from covid in a year.
My complaint is with the pharmacy tech he is rude and not communicative at all. The first time I thought he was having a bad day but I see that his disposition with everyone. I will drive a few miles more for better service.
I like this Publix, everyone is so helpful and friendly. Everyone goes above and beyond. Thank you.
Very nice clean store as well as pharmacy with polite assistants.
Great store nice and clean friendly employees very professional staff
Last couple months this place stinks off fried chicken. That is the reason we do not so there anymore. I dont know what they do but something is not right probably exhaust fans but working out someone not using them.
This Publix is very clean, the staff is very helpful, the prices are higher than Walmart, but its not crowded and the staff actually help you, I shop here all the time
Yesterday Sunday 21, 2021 the older Blondie headed lady who worked the cash register never opened her mouth to greet my husband & I as we check out . She greeted others. I believe this is the same lady who never wants to wait on you at the service desk. I can keep my money and go somewhere else for rudeness. She’s too old & should know better.
Always get cakes from here best around here.
Very bad customer service!I was trying to buy roasted chickens at the delis place and the worker there treated me very rudely and was very slow.
I like Publix because they have a deli and fresh salads. Nice clean place and employees were helpful to me
Publix is a excellent store, pleasant in store shopping and delivery too!
I shopped Instacart at this store for the first time today. While checking out I was called Sir 5 times by the bagger. After I corrected him the first two times he continued. 1 or two times is a possible mistake, 5 .. is intentional disrespect. I will not be shopping this store again.
Never had a issue here, and they seem to care about your safety with making frequent announcements of public safety dealing with Covid-19. We shop here often. Staff is always willing to assist. If we had to critique anything would be the online ordering of Deli subs.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Great selection of everything I was looking for. Efficient check out and curtious cashier.
Im never disappointed when going to Publix
Busy but the lines are quick
I love this Publix. It is clean, well stocked and mostly a very friendly and helpful staff. I have noticed however more recently trash in the parking lot. This is unusual for Publix stores, as they pride themselves in cleanliness and a nice bright environment. It would be good for people to think enough of where they shop, to discard trash in trash cans or take it with them. Just dumping it wherever they happen to be makes our neighborhood look trashy and ultimately lowers the housing values.
The best Publix in Atlanta is Eastlake Publix where Destry Smith is the new Assistant Manager and Brad the store manager is totally awesome he rocks Trent Collins is a fabulous manager over this and a few more Publix stores, he really takes care of the employees and customers Publix Eastlake you are fabulous
Good and clean. Very helpful with any needs
Its a true Floridian dream. The lemon pepper baked wings are hard to top.
Very Organized. Always Clean 😊
Do not really care for it. High prices and rude staff. Will not go back
Love there meats they are fresh
Found everything I needed and then some. Checkout was quick and customer service was legit as usual.
Polite, helpful employees. The sub sandwiches are fantastic and employees that make them are so wonderful! So far havent found a sub that I dont like!
I am giving this location 3 stars for cleanliness, and convenience. Location is close to my house and its usually a quick in & out. Management needs to step up on the deli department. I have ordered meals on various occasions and I have found that the MAJORITY of the staff are rude. They are not in a great mood and they sort of seem angry to be there. I have worked in stores before and customer service is a BIG component. In fact, Publix slogan is: Where shopping is a pleasure. Well.... its not a pleasure when employees dont even smile or seem bothered. As a customer, you say thank you, to be respectful, and what do you get.... NO response. It bothers me that this is a regular thing. It also bothers me that I am not the only person that has experienced this, by the looks of the other reviews. Other than this area, I have never had any inconveniences. The cashiers are nice. The staff in the aisles are always nice and willing to help you look for an item. The produce is always well stocked.
Been standing at the deli for about 15 mins, waiting on the lady to make my sub .. it’s 2 people here and one is making a sub the one lady making my sub was cutting meat like she didn’t even see me standing there.
Best service and very clean
Great shopping environment and fair prices.
Clean, fast service. Covid 19 practice
Always a great shopping experience here. The store is clean and the staff is friendly.
Crazy people who arent politeRESPECT the people who are not willing to sacrifice their own peace
Publix is always clean and the people are happy and helpful.
Service is nice and courtesy
Plenty of great deals.
I find it a good place to shop for food. I like how the people that work there are always willing to help when you need it.
This is the best grocery store location in Lawrenceville. The pharmacists are amazing. Every employee is so helpful.
My family received great service from the deli workers. They were patient & had great attitudes, which you dont always find.
Its always a good experience going to publix. Quick check out.
The Publix in general is cool. The deli however is subpar comparable to the Publix that is a few miles away near 316. They habitually overcook the rotisserie chicken. This location is a little bit closer to my house but I always end up going to the other Publix for that very reason. The deli needs vast improvement at this location.
Too expensive high price increase.
It was clean, friendly, organized as usual. The only thing about publix is I really wish their prices would come down. It sure is clean though!!!
My happy place in every city
Very clean cashier was very friendly.Well stocked.
Same as every Publix.The best.
Staff always very friendly and helpful
Bathroom very nice and clean
I love my publix
I love my Publix! Not all because some dont have as much or they arent as clean! This one is great! Its clean, friendly people and all my food desires!
New addition to the store is self checkout
Always a great place 2shop
Great location and parking. Easy to move around and find what you need at this store. Outstanding deli and fresh food section!
Nice staff and customer service. Always a pleasure to shop there.
Excellent and I love this place...
This location has the worst customer service. Especially at the Deli dept. They get rude, emotional and an attitude at the simplest special request. One time a deli worker even started an argument with me for no reason. I was being served by a different person and she decided to interject when I was minding my business and ordering my food. I cannot even get deli food from there anymore. They are horrible. Management needs to retrain them on what customer service means. They have no reason to get upset if someone asks for something outside the norm. Like to rinse the previous condiments off the knife because I dont put condiments on my sandwich. Whats the reason to get mad over something like that especially in times like this where hygiene is important. They should be doing that already Anyway. 1 star. Do better.
A Great Supermarket!$!$
Pretty empty. Get in and get quick out
Great employees, very helpful.
Great place to shop
Idk it was a bit boring but the food was tempting
Our favorite Publix location! The staff is always very kind and professional!
Very nice and professional.
Great store with very nice staff :)
I have had good experiences at this store and bad experiences. However, I am starting to wish I had another place to shop. Since covid 19 hit, I was at first impressioned with they sanitizing measures as well as they inventory levels. Then as soon as they started requiring mask they sanitation of the carts stop and most time they dont even have a wipe for you to use yourself. Then tonight they had no produce bags and because of this I wasnt able to buy 2 apples for my son. When I got to the register I asked the lady if there was anyway I could get them without having them on the scale she very rudely told me no, I said but you didnt have any produce bags, to which she again very rudely said yeah I know. So I told her I wasnt going to get them because I didnt want them to sit on the dirty scale to which she again very rudely says I can put a napkin ( like that is going to do anything). I understand that they are probably having to work longer and harder then before, but just a little compassion can go a long way to making a bad situation better. I was not only very upset at the fact they had no solution to a problem but that they could care less I was spending my money there and now I was going home without the one thing my son ask for because they had no bags to keep my produce safe. I hope no ones has the experience I had tonight.
Clean and well stocked store.
