This place is a great Warhammer store to go to for the hobby. The guy there was friendly and told me the basics of the game. He even taught me and my little brother how to play. 10/10 would recommend if you want to buy Warhammer miniatures or just want to battle.

My favorite hobby store for Warhammer in the metro ATL based off customer service. Brian is very friendly and willing answer any and all questions to the best of his abilities, and help with anything related to the hobby in any way he can. Also they always have a great selection of products in stock as well

Bottom Line: Im never giving this place my money again, and Im sorry I ever did.Edit: Ive been duped. Took the time to place a pre-order in-store for my birthday. This was a week in advance, the morning that they opened pre-orders for these items. The day before official release I was told my order had not arrived, and yet the store had stock of the items I had already paid them money for to put on the shelves... I was told I could possibly get the items I paid for if there were some leftover at the end of the day. I asked about canceling the order and giving me my money back.. so that I could buy the items from the store shelf on release day (read: giving my refunded money immediately back to him), Brian, the super-kind employee you can read about below, became so rude and passive-aggressive I did not want to waste the gas to see his face. I called GW support and they told me I could get a voucher for the amount (because I paid in-store), but *THE STORE SHOULD BE FULFILLING MY PRE-ORDER WITH ITS SHELF STOCK*. You know, the common-sense thing that any business that cares the tiniest bit about their customers.Brian is really nice and helpful until you need help making something right by asking to receive what youve already paid for.Ill leave my original review below so people can see the difference. I made many trips to the Lawrenceville store from Athens. Im sorry I ever did, and rest-assured I will never do it again. If youre in Lawrenceville reading this there is a great game store called Level Up by Gwinnett Place Mall. If youre in Athens, go to Dragonstar Hobbies. Compared to the many independent retailers Ive visited, this place is a shrine to the God-Emperor. Brian (Bryan?) was the manager when I came in, and the customer service provided was stellar. Super personable and very knowledgeable about everything regarding the AOS/40k universe and the hobby. I spent about 30 minutes just geeking out about 40k with him before I remembered I was there to purchase more plastic crack. He also keeps the paint selection stocked and I was able to find a citadel shade Ive been hunting for. He also keeps stock of the small things like custom bases and base terrain packs (skulls, foliage, etc) which I will be returning for. Bonus points: this is also the cleanest store Ive ever been to. The owner is taking the pandemic very seriously which is just a cherry of awesome on top of everything else.

If you are new to the hobby, I cannot recommend a better place to go to. When I started this hobby, I had no idea what to expect or where to start looking, but Brian and his staff have been both engaging and helpful. On the few occasions Ive gone there, I can always recall having a meaningful conversation with the staff, whether it was learning something new about painting and building or asking for general advice on the different products they offer. If youre looking for a good store that is beginner friendly and welcoming, look no further than here.

It was my first experience at a Warhammer store... And it was amazing the employee was so helpful, and answered all my questions and didnt mind bringing over every single model and set I wanted to look at, phenomenal selection, great customer service, I will definitely be back as soon as Im in Lawrenceville again.

Walmart as usual not much to say. Some of the people are nice and some are not. Some are helpful and some are not. It is a clean store and they are pretty good at keeping it stocked.

Great store for everything Warhammer, also a great place to meet, play, discuss and paint anything and everything Warhammer. Expertly run by a man with huge amounts of knowledge and tips, not just in playing but painting and building your units as well. Go check it out!

Brian seems to be a great manager. He has a very friendly attitude, and is patient with all customers. It was a pleasant first experience for me as I am new to the warhammer hobby. I would have gone back several times already but they are closed Monday and Tuesday interestingly.

The owner is a fantastic business man who is always willing to stop and just chat and help you feel included! Even if you know nothing of the hobby, Brian and his customers will always make you feel very welcome and answer any and all questions you may have!

Brian is very helpful for those if us just getting into the hobby. Many times game store employees are aloof and unhelpful, making people who arent regulars feel unwelcome, but not here. Dont feel intimidated if youre new to the hobby, he will spend the time to get you started with all that you need.
