The owners of this Layton Gun Shop are awesome, Brian and Shelby are cool and their employee Steven is the greatest. They took the time to help this Old Lady by finding the Squirrel Gun of her dreams and took the time to special order the make quiet thingy on the end of the Barrel... there was a little Government paperwork and they walked me through it.. even helped with photos and fingerprints right in the shop. My Sister and Nephew and Niece took their Concealed Carry Class Firearmspro. They have a large selection of Ammo and the latest Guns and Accessories. Ive got Survival and Camping Gear... They have Bows and Radio Controlled Cars and planes.. the Kids and Big Kids love the place. Customer service is great.. Im Disabled and they always offer me a chair to sit down because its a very popular and frequently crowded place.. Brian is a great Gunsmith and does custom work and repairs.. only guy in town. Give them a try.

The guys over at Firearmspro are great. They are super knowledgeable, and very helpful. I have been super impressed with the selection they have had for gun build parts and especially the selection they have had of Dead Air accessories. These guys are the absolute best! Went in today looking for an AR15 style rifle, and boy did they hook me up! Their inventory is fairly priced and the staff are super helpful and kind! I will be doing much more business with these guys.

Always very friendly. Good reasonable pricing. Stock sometimes limited on ammo and other accessory products. That said, when I purchased my last gun, I couldn’t find anywhere else who had it but here and they were still the cheapest even if others had inventory. Small business owner—you usually deal with the owner. Definitely a place I will regularly return to.

Like many, I am a first time gun owner. I was somewhat nervous about walking into a gun shop not knowing the lingo or really anything about what I was looking for. That changed quickly once I walked into Firearms pro. I was comfortable asking about the budget friendly guns and did not feel pressured into anything outside of that. I was amazed at the variety of customers who came in while I was there, from obvious serious gun owners to new ones like myself, everyone was welcomed and assisted as if they were all friends. I left with a great gun in the price range I was looking for. I am honestly excited to go back when I am ready for another or any accessories I may want.

This shop is a dream come true! They are the only shop that carries the hard to find items and for a true gun builder they have everything almost always in stock from specific parts to the most sought after.Very knowledgeable and go above and beyond on their service.

I came in with an unrelated item that needed repair but used similar bolts and screws as he would have for firearm repair. He was so willing to help me and i felt went above and beyond to find what was needed for my odd repair! He was also extremely helpful to everyone i saw who came in during that time. This is the best gun store in the area by far! Brian is super awesome and always does his best to help anyone who comes in. He has the coolest stuff and is awesome at fixing guns. All of the other gun stores refer people to him because hes the best. People who are mad about wait times or paperwork are just ignorant as to how firearms processing goes. 10/10 Would recommend.

EDIT: Original below. Went back in to show them the blemished receiver I got and the owner went above and beyond fixing the problem. Definitely not the fault of the store, turned out to be a lemon from the factory.Ive gotten a lot of building advice from the owner whenever Ive gone in. Always makes me feel right at home. He obviously knows a lot and comes across very friendly._______________________________Staff are friendly and know their stuff, it seems. Though, I got stung when buying a couple Aero lowers. One was obviously a blemish; theres a chunk of aluminum missing next to the trigger guard. I didnt look at the receiver before buying it, and it was obviously a blemish. Maybe my fault, but come on, advertise the blems as blems. Also was seriously marked up, but lack of supply made me buy.

This is a great store with great people running it! They always go the distance with giving you the best fire arm, gun parts, service, and other supplies you might need at the best deal!! I’ve been overjoyed with everything that I’ve ever got from Brian and Stephen! So go see what you are missing if you haven’t been!

There are not a lot of people that can throw away $163 but that is what happen when the background check found an issue completely beyond my control. I returned to get a refund and was charged a 25% restocking fee that I was not made aware off (but I should have known) for a standard item. I can understand a special order but a Browning 22 Rifle no. The other issue is, I really was happy with the service until the last transaction. They did not even say anything while completing the refund. I went to my car and look at my receipt and was SHOCKED to say the least. I even asked if they could do the background check BEFORE I put any money down. But all I have to say now is LESSON LEARNED!! I hope they enjoy my 25%.

This has become one of my favorite gun shops around the Wasatch Front. Bian is very knowledgeable and one of the things that makes this place great is his willingness to talk about your build and what you are trying to accomplish and recommends products for you, not just telling you what to buy. Some gun shops around the valley are too big for their britches and are frustrating to deal with, but this place has what you want and I will be back without question!

Repair to my shotgun. Old model 12 16 gauge. Just needed a filing to the firing pin. Cost was super reasonable

These guys are amazing. Very friendly VERY knowledgeable on anything firearms..it also appears they do have some hobby stuff as well like rc planes and trucks, and a few other things besides firearms. I highly recommend this place. I took my g45 to another shop(not going to name it) to get the sites swapped out. They couldnt fit the rear site in place so they left me with a gun that just had a front site.. I was then directed to firearmspro. I walked in told them my predicament and they were very understanding and helpful.. I didnt catch their names but the gunsmith took my slide into back while I chatted with the guy in front. About 10 mins later maybe less the gunsmith came out and had placed the rear site and cleaned up some of the damaged caused by the other shop.. I am extremely grateful to these guys and I will be stopping by again whenever I need help or to purchase one of their fine products... I cant say thank you enough.. seriously you are lifesavers over there at firearmspro

Im currently building a rifle and one of the things I needed was a .308 flash hider crush washer, which didnt come with the flash hider. Well I decided to go to Firearms Pro based on referrals to get the part and itll be my first time going to the shop which I have heard good things about. I was amazed by how cool the shop was and what threw me off was that there wasnt just firearms and parts but other stuff as well such as RCs, outdoor products, survival supplies, etc. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was good, I would definitely get with them again for any firearm needs.

When you go to most stores like this, the Experts try to sell you what they personally own, or what theyre told to sell today. Not here. The guys at Firearms Pro took the time to learn what I wanted, and made recommendations based on my needs. I got exactly what I wanted, and didnt pay extra for features I just didnt need, even though they didnt normally stock my item. True expertise and professionalism like this is hard to find these days. Great store!

A lot of people hate on this shop for things they cant control (shipping/paperwork processing times, etc) but the truth is, these guys are the most honest and knowledgable folks around. Fantastic shop!

This is a nice shop. Lots of guns and gear for the area. Brain is always nice and ready to answer any questions. They have a huge selection of pistols, rifles, NFA, and parts; and they will order anything in that they don’t already have in stock. They just got into RC cars and drones and they have a some of those in stock. Highly recommend you go stop in and see if they have anything you need.

These guys are hands down the best shop in northern, UT. They are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They truly care about taking care of the customer and they will do their best to get you the very best deal that they can. They have a great selection of stuff for being a relatively new shop and if its not in store, they can order just about anything. These guys are awesome! I bought a Green Mountain Grill from them and they were very knowledgeable about their products. Super friendly and helpful. I am definitely going back next time I need supplies for my grill or a firearm for that matter.

I don’t know if there is a special fee or something to actually have these guys fix your gun but beware. I dropped off my gun to get a part changed out and three weeks later the part I dropped off with my gun was still in its package. I wasnt given a a time frame or anything.Same thing happened to my dad when he dropped his gun off, only it was a month before he just took it back and had someone else do it, guess Ill have to do the same thing.

Brian and Steven went above and beyond. I brought a rifle to them for a small modification and when they went to work on it they found a manufacturing defect. The rifle company would not support the product but Firearms Pro sure did! They went out of their way to fix the rifle and make sure it was set up right for me. They offered a lot of advice and put up with a number of questions from me. They have earned my business and my referrals. Thank you both for your help on this project.

This is a great little gun shop in the center of Layton. They do gunsmith work and all kids of mods and conversions. The owner is very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question you might have about firearms.

Great people, they will take care of you. Wether its a special order, or if you need your firearms serviced. They have a mom and pop feel and are very frendly.

I just dont know what to think, I bought a silencer in November of 2016 and having been told that the paperwork would take about six months, two years is a long time. I just had my 74th birthday and I am beginning to loose interest

Bought a Mosin from here still caked in cosmoline as my first gun. Small quaint store, so if someone is being helped it may take time to get to you, but the crew there is friendly and knowledgeable and I got the gun pretty quick!

Very professional, polite and helpful. The men and women that work here are very easy to talk with, and they absolutely know their stuff.Today (feb 13th 2016) I went to Impact Guns in Ogden, UT to buy a suppressor, and the employee that handled all that stuff told me that he was too busy to do any paperwork today, and said I had to come back in the following Tuesday if I wanted to pay them 700 dollars for a suppressor. Instead, I made my first visit to FirearmsPro, and they immediately started helping me with the process of buying a suppressor. Not once did they act like they were too busy to spend 20 minutes helping me, even though they were pretty busy to begin with. I was very happy to be spending money at this business.

Terrible customer service.The two times I’ve attempted to come in here to ask about a product all I get is “give me a minute”And never end up getting helped.How do you expect to sale products at a storefront location with no customer service.

Friendly service, however when I purchased my scar 17s thru them it took over 3 weeks for them to get bullet button/stock block to make cali legal. When it finally came my 3k gun did not have a magazine. No blocked 20rnd mag not even a dedicated 10rnd mag. I called them and as to my surprise they said they would sell me a 10rnd mag at their cost. A real class act. Tacky. Brian even knew i was a TNPr. Never again firearms pro.

After a local hack ruined my Siaga 12 trying to rivet in a new rear trunnion PFI tried to fix it, many hours of labor and ordering expensive riveting tools (I do not recall the cost of the tools) they called me and told me they could not repair the gun. My cost was $0.... They bent over backwards and earned a customer for life. Thanks! The have a a great selection on fenix lights and AW batteries as well as good selection of tac gear.
