This is my second fence with Best Vinyl. Both times they have done a great job, this last time the installers were the best I have had. Lead time was a bit longer than I was hoping, but they did a great job.I always get 3 estimates on everything I do, but this time I called or emailed several companies and Best Vinyl was the only company that called me back. I did get one company that called me back 2 weeks later but I had already ordered my fence.

Best Vinyl installed my fence. After several months the fence was damaged due to wind. I contacted the company Greg Pettey for warranty service to have it repaired. However they refused to do so. They said they were too busy to offer any warranty services. To summarize: poor quality of the fence and poor service. Stay away unless this is the only fence company left on earth.

They trampled my neighbors flowers, didn’t keep commitments of returning or quality of work, and cut out posts to their fence and left the fence unattached and unsecured. There are several posts where they cut off the bottom, meaning they’re less than 2ft in the ground. Also, they didn’t fill the post at all with concrete. I’ll be surprised if they’re as strong as they say. WAY OVERPRICED! You can get a better quality fence for a fraction of the cost. If you value quality and the relationship with your neighbors, I’d look somewhere else.

Great job! They showed up on time and the fence is great. My dogs can finally go outside in the backyard.

See photo!Best Vinyl Fence & Deck installed the fence around our yard when our house was built about 3 years ago. Over time, the posts have crept up due to freezing and thawing. And Im talking like 8 or 9 of them. This has created a large gap under the fence which has nearly allowed our dogs and the neighbors dogs to switch yards if they want. The only reason they dont is because theyre Great Danes and still cant fit. Our neighbors solution was to put rocks in the gap. We wanted to actually fix the problem instead.We discovered the posts werent put into a sleeve first (which is the proper way to do it so the posts dont creep). Instead, they were just cemented in. My wife called Best Vinyl Fence & Deck and had them come out. The guy basically told her they didnt do anything wrong and that the fence was installed properly. When she asked him if they could fix the posts so that the fence would be back closer to the ground, they told her there was nothing they could do and that it just happens. We knew that to be completely false. After pressing them harder, they finally told us the only fix would be to break up the cement and reinstall from scratch, which would be expensive and wouldnt help in the long run.We had a different fencing company look at it and they immediately said it wasnt done right to begin with. All we wanted was for Best Vinyl Fence & Deck to stand by their work and fix the problem that their poor installation caused, but they wouldnt. They dont take blame for their shoddy work. I highly advise looking elsewhere for fencing installation.

Premium service, at a reasonable price! They were great at keeping us updated as we got closer to our install date, and were also accommodating with me and my neighbor, as we split the cost, and my neighbor wanted extra work done on their property. Not only would I use them again, but Im planning on getting a bid from them to install a pergola over my deck in the future.I called two other companies for bids, and felt like the quality offered by Best Vinyl beat the other two, without question.

We got in touch with Best Vinyl in July to put in a fence, they gave us an estimate and then required half down for the deposit, so we put down over $1400. They then put us on the schedule for quite a ways out on October 11th. October 11th comes around and I take the day off of work to be there, and no one shows up and we hear nothing from them. So we called to inquire, they then told us that they are behind and they wont be able to come out until November 13th. We were already irritated that I took off work, and no one at Best Vinyl even bothered to contact us regarding the delay. Well, come November 13, no one is here still. We make a call and they said it wont be until end of November....well, end of November, and NO one is here! Mind you, no one has ever called to let us know. So now here we are November 30th. We try calling Best Vinyl, and all the phone lines say they are closed (this is on a Monday around 10 am)... a quick lookup on Google also stated every location is closed. So now, we cant get a hold of anyone! We tried calling their other numbers listed in other locations and every number we call is saying they are closed. Finally, after all the many automated messages we finally get through to someone. They then said theyll come out sometime the end of the week. We will see.We will update this review based on when/if our fence is completed.

Had fence installed in 2010 and am very disappointed. Sales person pointed out fading on other fences in the area and said theirs was superior and wouldnt have the same issue. Well.... now that time has passed I have the same issue. He also stated that they had a holes in the bottom of the fence posts that the cement would come through during installation. That would prevent the posts from lifting. Again.... not true. Be aware of false advertising from their sales people. Escalated to their management in Layton and have had absolutely no response.

I live out in Farr West. My neighbor behind me was having Best Vinyl install a fence. The installers managed to hit the main sprinkler line on my property not once but three times!! I spoke with installers and someone at their office. They assured that they would fix my sprinkler line. Since then, I have had to spend upwards of $1000 to have system fixed due to a break in the line. He showed me how Best Vinyl did nothing more than a patch job and how it would eventually break again. Thankfully, i have a company who has now fixed it right. If they install fences the same way, I will not be doing business with them. Kinda funny cause I have been looking for bids to finish fencing in my yard!! Rant over

I work for Best Vinyl and I enjoy every minute of my job. Since Best Vinyl took over R&L Fence almost nothing is the same. Higher quality products, better installation methods, better warranties and much more focused on the customer.

They did a great job with our new fence at our church.

So far all the experience I’ve had with them is nothing. They were supposed to install my deck on July 15, 2018 and the Friday before I hadn’t heard anything from them, so I called them and was told they were 2 weeks behind. (No call from them telling me this) She said our next install date is the 30th and here it is the Friday before and I have not heard from anyone. Update: We got it installed and it looks wonderful! The installers were very nice and efficient! I updated my stars cuz I’m very happy with the end result, but the communication needs to be better!

They did a great job for me and my neighbors! I would recommend them as a great company to use. Greg was great to work with and always on time which is rare.

They installed my fence on one side of my yard before I moved into my home. The fence install is not terrible, it is still standing thanks to good material. The installation on the other hand is crooked and uneven. Their gates are installed especially horrendously. I had some damage to that fence and I did not want to fix it myself and wanted it to match, so I called them to get a bid to fix my fence. I have one post that needs to be replaced and one slat. They bid me $905 to do that simple job. I self installed the other side of my yard, which looks much better, so I know this repair should not be anywhere near that price. They do sub par work and expect premium price. Look elsewhere or do it yourself and save money and have a better final product.

I had our fence installed 3 years ago with Best Vinyl. the attention to detail and the sales team were the best, the installation went perfectly. Infact last summer we had some dumb teenagers climb over our locked gate and bent the handle and Best Vinyl came out and fixed it for us ASAP. They are fast and affordable and I have recommended them to all my family, friends and neighbors. Thanks best Vinyl for taking care of us. Greg Pettey was the best to work with.

Well, first day no one was there, called said they were gone for the day (it was 1pm), next day waited for 30 min for a person to ring me up, after I said Ive been waiting they just gave me the small part I needed for free. So, not sure how to rate this, but if you have other options Id try those first.

Great customer service!! Derek at Best Vinyl in Layton took care of me and really helped me find a good repair solution for an improperly built set of gates at my home. Understanding that cost was a factor and a welded metal frame although the best solution, was not in my budget, he worked to find me an affordable but quality repair solution that would last. Reading reviews, it looks like people may have had issues with these guys in the past, but Im here to say that the customer service I received from Derek at Best Vinyl was top notch and I will definitely use them in the future.Back story:I had an issue with my vinyl gates, made for me 7 years ago, and talked to another shop about repairing them, as they flexed and didnt shut correctly (just had cement put in so after removing them to pour the cement they needed to be cut down before reinstalling). The first shop told me they were built incorrectly and there was no DIY option, with the least expensive repair they could do was to build me welded steel frame gates at about $320 a gate, using my materials, or build me new gates for about $370 each for new. Times that by 3 gates total, that was more than I could spend, so I went elsewhere looking for help. Best Vinyl (formerly R&L) saved the day. Thanks Derek!
