Everyone was super nice. They went over and beyond helping us with a rib selection. They did a special cut just for us. We loved everyone there. The meats are amazing and so were the people. We found our new meat market for sure!! Wish I got everyones names to personally thank. ♡

Poor management. Manger needs to learn how to compensate an unhappy customer when their is an issue with an order. This manager has poor to pathetic customer service relations. Clearly from what he said today as he shouted it out at the store. I drove out of my way for the manager to replace my item. Only to find out he expected it to be at my TIME and EXPENSE. This is not how you treat a customer. A new one at that. I really wanted to give my money to someone local. I’ll guess I’ll be returning to Whole Foods for my grass fed beef!

Upon walking in, I immediately wanted to eat everything in the store. The employees were helpful and friendly. They offer an active duty military discount. High, high quality meats, moderately priced. I wont buy a pork shoulder or a brisket anywhere else! Place is awesome!

I know nothing about the different cuts of meat. And it was very obvious that I was a deer in the headlights standing at the meat counter. Even though it was a busy Saturday morning, the guy behind the counter was patient and kind to me. And he guided me towards what was on special instead of trying to sell me the super high end stuff which Im thankful for because I would probably completely ruin it😅10/10 for customer service!

Great customer service, super friendly staff, great quality meats. I gave 4 stars because for them to cut/ slice short ribs for you they charge you $3.00, not cool at all. I had it done before but they said that’s the new pricing now. I paid the extra $$ but I don’t think I will do it again.

I began coming here in April 2020 when we were having meat shortages and rationing at grocery stores. They have always had no limits and that was helpful. I was just trying to feed hungry teenage boys without grocery shopping every other day! I continue to go because the meats are great quality, delicious, and the service is top notch. Awesome place, down to earth crew. As a regular they remember me and what I usually get. Very knowledgeable about meat and how it cooks for a particular cut. I had a brisket that was already trimmed in a package. They took it back and trimmed it how I like it then re wrapped it.So many different types of meats. They also have seasonings, cheese, and charcoal/wood.Ive heard they will also dress up game if you bring it in.

Just found this meat market yesterday after having a bad rude person wait on me at another meat market in Webster.Stone Cold meats has a wonderful selection of fresh meats. Bought New Strips, tenderloin, and Beef Brisket burgers. The staff was following protective guidelines. Only 10 people in at a time and masks were being worn. The staff were excellent. Friendly and the store was full and people waiting... I think that says it all. Thanks Stone Cold Meats .. we will be back.,

Last week my boss wanted a very specific cut of pork for his wife for Mothers Day. I called the store and Amy assisted me in finding the exact thing that he needed! Visiting family from Dallas and they told me about this place. 1st time i tried the waygu strip steak, man oh man just a little salt and pepper and it was on. 4 minutes on each side and its a wrap. I also tried the bacon wrapped peppers too. I was not really moved by them. Maybe I asked at least I thought I did, I was expecting a slice of Brisket and cheese stuffed in a kinda spicy jalapeño wrapped in bacon. Very friendly folks behind the counter. After all that I stopped back again on the way out and got some ribeyes and flank. Can wait ti cook them. I will be sure to let you know.Skinner

Very helpful and friendly. I ended up driving a little out of the way and skipping a meat shop nearby. STM was just way more helpful on the phone compared to a place thats quite close to me and once I was there, the good service continued. Looking forward to grilling and making my Philly cheese steaks which STM cut up nicely for me. Also got some good trimmings to render my own fat to cook with.

As an event caterer and culinary enthusiast, I was excited to check this place out when I found them on Facebook. I went inside and was given a squirt of hand sanitizer then I browsed around. Place was smaller than I expected but the quality of meats looked excellent. However when I was at the counter I stood there with no one around me for a good 4 minutes with 3 workers on the otherside and I was totally ignored. I lady customer then walked in and was greeted as soon as she hit the counter. She looked over at me and advised the clerk that I was there first so he finally waited on me. I ordered 3 links of boudin and then paid and left. Anyway boudin was not at all worth my long trip there. Maybe Ill venture out there again to try a steak. Mabey.

Ive spent several hundred dollars in this place since it opened. Ive generally been very pleased with the attentiveness of the staff and the high quality selection. A plus is that its close to us. That said...my wife visited recently with the intention of buying a few ribeyes. It was on a weekend, and only 10 minutes or so before the store was due to close. As she was waiting on the guy behind the meat counter to cut her steaks in half (thinner), there were a few other workers assembled behind the meat counter, without masks. My wife and I work in healthcare, and we are as concerned (if not more) than the average person when it comes to the use of masks these days. When my wife asked these young guys why they werent wearing their masks, the response was were closed.When she mentioned this to the person at the register, there was no response, but reportedly a blank stare. I wasnt there so I cannot confirm - all I have is the word of my wife, who, as a Brazilian woman who LOVES steak, has sworn she will never set foot in this store again. That says a lot, actually.I can only vouch for the fact that in the past few months there appears to be a significant turnover of staff, and the meat counter has suffered with an influx of young, seemingly uninterested talent.Anyway - fantastic product on sale here but Im not so sure management is up to the task of quality control in the area of personnel management. Please keep that in mind as we travel together through a once in a lifetime pandemic. Two stars because of the willful negligence in respecting the importance of keeping employees and CUSTOMERS safe.Response to Owner: Nope...you did not extend a courtesy by letting her in after you had closed because you were still open, and she was not yelling and screaming at your employees although she is passionate about COVID safety as she spends her work days surrounded by sick and dying COVID patients. My name is John Newsome. I never post reviews online, however I feel I have to with stone cold meats. I frequent here often, tonight I bought steaks right before closing and they are impeccable. The only semi-negative review Ive read here was about the cost of deer processing. ITS WORTH IT. I had mine done here and its the best venison Ive had, Ive had everything from bison burgers, chicken wings, (perhaps my favorite) to their exotic meats which is even top notch. The old saying and common sense you get what you pay for, and with these guys you get even more. I wont buy anywhere else. Cheers!

By far some of the highest quality steaks around here. Texas raises beef. Texas stuffed quail. Stuffed chicken breast. Bacon wrapped jalapeños... you name it, they have it or will get it in for you!I would highly recommend them and will definitely be going back... probably a few times a week.

I am very disappointed. I have been a loyal customer since Cold Stone Meats opened. Once a month we buy chicken fajitas meat and over time the price has increased and the amount of chicken versus fat has decreased. I spent 30 minutes cutting fat out of chicken. The meats in the cases look lean, but what is in the stand up frigs are full of meat with a lot of fat.
